I guess we all just have our feared creatures, I myself can't stand snakes. Apparently the snakes know this as well, and they are out to find me.

i think snakes are kinda cool but im scared by insects larger then my palm although pictures are ok.

Copper, you poor dear. I'm glad I don't have an insane fear of insects (would have been paralyzed with terror most of my tour... uck).

As for Snakes... haven't picked one up since I was like... 14 or so. Picked up a Garder Snake and it pissed all over my hands. Bastard!

Well I picked one up when I was little and it bit me and wouldn't let go. Ever since they've been out to get me. Especially those dang cottonmouths, which has to be one of the most aggresive snakes I've ever seen.

I don't mind insects.... Unless they're parasitic. Then I go out of my way to kill them.

As for snakes, I like them enough to respect them. So I leave them alone. I only ouch them if I know they're docile or I have no other choice. Luckily the only common venomous snakes around me are either rattlers or easily identifiable by sight.

I like insects, spiders, snakes, and all the those things people consider to be scary.

I have a hatred for the parasitic ones though, just like Tassadar, and if I find one I'd try to find a way to kill it.

They'll fucking chase you. All other snakes run at first sight of a people, but cottonmouths will chase anyone that gets close enough. Most aggressive little fuckers on the planet.

@Toxic: I honestly don't know. Something about them makes my skin crawl. I'm not sure but the source of it may actually be a conscious choice on my part... when I was young I didn't really have any phobias except a little queasiness of heights. The I guess I sort of latched on to phobias as a conversation piece and started to act like I was afraid of spiders (this was when I was six or seven). Over time I developed an actual aversion to the little critters... I'm not sure if I had some sort of predisposition to it or the whole source was my little attention whore act. Either way, now they freak me out.

Edit: Also, you're the psychologist, why don't you tell me -_-

It's not just spiders, most insects scare the bejeebus out of me. Or at least creep me out. Like slugs, snails, worms. Slimy horrible little bastards is what they are.

If there's a spider safely hiding up in the corner of the ceiling, I won't give much of a fuck. However, if one of the little buggers is on the ground, and walking towards my feet, I'ma kill it.

The only things that get me frightened are spiders and bees, and even then that's only if they get too close.
Of course, then there's that knee-jerk reaction to ANYTHING that lands on me and I don't know what it is. It could be a ladybug and I'd still freak for a fraction of a second, swatting at it with intense fury.
