The biggest change is from AceVX to MV.
Another annoying thing, IMO, is that he did not make the new attack animations fast enough.

I would be down for updating the OP, but I don't have the EP2 of the MV version.
If someone wants to PM me with the changes so I can edit the OP, feel free.

EDIT: I made some updates to the OP. Probably missing some stuff.

According to google camera translate, it's something about "fitter feather" item drops you get from some bird enemy.

So I'm trying to get rid of the name spam from cliploger, "Michael" or 「ミカエル。」this time around. I pulled the clipboard_lulle from the EP1 thread that @duck666 made and that got rid of some of the spam but not the names. Any thoughts on what code I would need to put where for this one. Haven't played with the hook codes too much so if you could explain like I'm a dumbass it would be appreciated.


Edit: Nevermind, I've got it I think. It's incredibly janky and it ignores all instances of the name but it stops the spam. If there's a better solution besides just slapping the names in the ignore filter in the .js file I'm all ears though.

As for ignoring the Michael's name spam, do this:

the "^" character ignores the whole line if and only if the line begins with "ミカエル。".

Glad to help. Also note the Unicode period, which ignores all instants only if the Unicode period is there.

So either the requirements to remove the protection for Michael were changed from what used to work (Completing quests/level limit increase) or they are just plain broken in this release. Cuz I'm still utterly unable to remove the skill without cheating and I've done so very, very many things to try and do so. I'm about to go digging through and removing it in the save file unless someone can point me in the right direction.

Edit: Yeeaahhhhhhhhh, I just remembered why I HATE editing kame's "recent" games. As has been mentioned, literally EVERYTHING from all of them in the "series" is included with each one, which for someone whose Japanese is mediocre at the absolute best makes it nightmarish to slog through and find the right shit. Like, there's still shit from F4 in there, what the hell.

To remove michael's protection, I think you need to hit B rank guild rank, and have had done over some amount of total damage(?). (I remember you need a specific title to trigger than event.)
Then you get to fight her. After you defeat her, she dissappears for a couple days, during which she H with some old guy, and it breaks her protection.

In the MV version, you need to complete all the "C" ranked questions, and a B-rank promotion quest. It's the guy that's standing on the opposite side of the counter, in the guild, near the daily quest book (grey book), which you need to speak with and purchase all the C ranked quests from (100SL each). To complete/hand-in these unique rank quests, you complete them with the purple book.

To find out what is required of each quest, you can check on of your key items.

Yeah, and thanks for all the help. REALLY confused as to why the hell the decision was made to block off looking at quests at all. Just seems like purposefully obtuse design. Which, looking at all of Kame's newer games it might not be purposefully obtuse, it might just be stupidity on the devs' part.

Eh, what event? There's a known crash bug that triggers Ati's prostitution in the park, at night, if you're not on AE1. You can just reload to fix that.
There are "background" events which indicates Ati is slutting out, but not from AE1.

What the fuck even. Also, I'm fairly sure part of the reason the game is so damn slowed down is because EVERYTHING is saved as a variable. From what I can see there's not really any proper switches, just variables acting the part. Also, I do not have RPGMaker MV, so I can't really give my opinion on this one...
Switches were just variables as well. Just simple "on" and "off" only state ones. I'm almost certain it is whatever the fuck the author is doing with the engine script he's using (which he almost certain just downloaded from some script bank online). He's probably abusing some stuff that shouldn't be abused a certain way. Some images need to be played at certain time intervals, or the images "jam".
The author added in the ability to "turn off" a lot of in-between animations. I'm thinking there are probably a lot more "if-statement" and/or "trigger" true/false checks that are happening. Lastly, this is MV. It's running Javascript - the games kind-of comes with it's own engine, unlike VX Ace, where you install the software-engine. So that might be a factor. But I'm not knowledgeable enough on either to be sure.

It was really weird. So basically it continued to show Emi in the character bust position, but the map it showed was Ati's apartment/home from AE1. It doesn't have any actual images at all as far as I can tell. The picture attached is the event on the map, so if I'm just crazy and the game isn't quite as much of a shitshow as I thought, that's nice I guess lmao.

Game performance for me has only been bad during battles but out in the world, it runs perfectly fine. Are you using the auto translation tool? That is gonna nuke your performance, its pretty much unplayable imo.
And yeah, I've got a text hook running (libellule's) with Translation Aggregator using ATLAS going, so if it's impacting performance that much it is definitely still because of the game since it runs fine on literally everything else. Hmm, I'll try running without cliploger and see if it bogs down as bad. It's the worst in battles but still somewhat noticeable elsewhere even with all the performance options ticked

I'm unsure about which blond girl you're talking about. Can you post an image?

As for the McD girl, advance forwards in the main story dungeon (the one that's not entered via the crystal area managed by the guild). After you beat a certain level's boss, your MC will decide to call it a day and teleport out of the dungeon. I think you need to sleep for a night (or maybe it auto forces you to sleep for the night), and then an event will trigger about the meat factory. Get down to the final level of the meat factory that has now opened up, and you need to beat her in order to be able to have her join your party.
