This is on par for some of their more involved boss animations from Mermaiden, and this looks like its just a regular enemy! They've definitely gotten faster at animating, I hope we see more multi-stage animations like this.
 
Should there be a new thread for this game in development or we gotta wait for a demo
 
There isn't even a name for the game yet. I believe there needs to be more game information available before a separate topic can be made.

We've gotten official confirmation that we can make a new thread at this point, but it doesn't seem to be a "must" yet. Most of us seem to be of the opinion that it's worth waiting until there's something of substance to report.
 
I'm really excited for this new game. Really loved Hasumi especially when she gets helplessly groped by her enemies.
 
I remember this game has terrible H-scenes and is 100% just boring tentacles and the H-scenes are all I care about. Thank god for full saves I guess.

To each their own I guess. I haven't found too many sidescrollers with better H-animations than Mission Mermaiden.
Maybe like Grimhelm games? But that's about it. Your standards seem higher than mine haha. Do you have any recommendations?
 
Comments yield some interesting tidbits; this npc is a doctor looking for a cure to the "insect disease", which is some kind of bug that attaches to people and does various bad things. I'm guessing this is the parasitism that earlier blog posts claimed would be a central theme for this game.

The NPC will also be involved in an "event".

Agreed. To me this game has great animations, and with the bad states it incorporates the lewd aspects into the gameplay. Unfortunately it has atrocious balancing, to the point where you can just go full monkey and mash through the game, and the bad states don't even matter so at the end of the day it becomes another animation viewer. Which is really sad because it's just a matter of number tweaking to make this game interesting. That being said, I'm also curious what @Cupio deems as good animation if they find the ones in this game terrible 🤔
 
I have no idea what @Cupio deems as good animation but the pixelation from forced zoom-in could be tweaked a bit.

I think my only gripe with the H animations is probably the lack of human animations; it feels more like a masturbation viewer with toys and stuffs, but I'm sure this varies based on people's preferences.
