Another dev report :



Hello everyone!
Time for another report. Good news again!
So, the blocking layout it’s now complete, and the second step has now started, which is turning the brushes (BSP brushes is what UE4 uses for blocking but it’s recommended to turn them into actual static meshes) into real geometry meshes, then fixing their UVs and painting their materials/textures. Then get those back into the engine and make it look all nice and beautiful xD.
As for the Boss himself, the modeling and rigging is now done as well. The same goes for his materials and textures; they’re done as well. The Boss is already placed on the level so I can see how it’s coming along. As for popular demand, we’ll keep him as a surprise so I can’t show him to you all :p
The next task is to start animating him. This will require me to create a new type of control rig (a new one for me I mean) that has to allow me to control all the parts at the same time while maintaining a “flow” (?). The animations for this Boss are a combination of both manual keyframe placing and procedurally generated animations. I know it’s hard to picture what I mean with just saying this, but you’ll see when it’s done.

I've got a bug where in first mission when i arrive at front gate of the mansion and try to interact with i just lose control of character. Can't move camera, neither character. Is there any fix for this?

Hello everyone!
Sorry for the lack of communication lately. The reason? We’re sick.
After two years or so without even a single cold, getting a flu it’s been like almost getting killed :(
I’ve been unable to even write a single letter, I wanted to let you all know before but I just couldn’t.
And since we’ve been working together before any symptoms showed up, I think it’s been my fault that Mr.Versus got it too.
For the past ten days or so I’ve been unable to even turn on the PC, let alone working on the projects. But there’s not only bad news… we’re slowly getting better and I can look directly at my screen without my eyes burning out (for 20 minutes or so, at least).
I hope that soon we’re able to get back to work. Hell, everything is getting between us and the next release for Bioasshard.
Well, before getting back to rest, I’ll let you know that before getting sick, we were working on two things:
-Making the Boss Area. This is now all textured, the area is no longer in blocking state and it’s looking all nice and clean. It still needs more work like all the furniture, etc.
-Animations. A lot of average animations have been done. There’s still a few more that needs to be done, before I can start crafting the Boss’ AI.

Finally with new lap I can run this game without issues however i don't know how to customize the options cause no Cancel button to go back in the main menu.

Can someone help me with this simple issue I can't seem to be able to change any options cause I don't know how to go back in the options menu, usually in any game that would be right click or escape but once I go to the options menu I'm stuck in there forever.

Dev diary time :



Hello everyone!
We’re finally back on business (well, we actually started getting back a few days after the past mini-report).
First thing I want to say is that we’re finally feeling better and want to thanks all the people who sent comments and messages with positive feelings/energy wishing us a fast recovery: Thank you very much <3
This gonna be a short report as well, basically because even if we’ve been making progress, the progress itself it’s very focused since it’s all related to the new type of control rig for the Boss. This has been a task of so much investigation, learning, putting to practice, adapting, learning again, different ways of making the same stuff, different approaches, until finding the “perfect” combination (for me at least, probably a pro in this area would have a different and personal approach, but since we couldn’t find one and I had to take care of everything about the Boss myself)…
Well, that’s just a small part of all the setup I’m working on for the Boss (yeah, there are tons and tons of Node editor windows full of similar node structures xD). I’ll still need a couple or three days more to finish the setup and finally being able to get to making the actual animations. It’s hard to explain that setup or why there’re so many nodes necessary for it without showing the Boss, but since it has to be a surprise, all I can say is, you’ll understand when you can finally see it.
I have to say that I feel really bad about all this, not for me, (because I’m learning a lot of stuff I never expected to learn, and as they say, the more you know/learn the better,) but for you guys, because of the time this new version is taking to be ready. Another good thing this learning had is that part of this setup can and will be used for the average enemies as well (obviously not for this version but for the future). I wish we could have find someone (pro modeler-rigger-animator) to have taken care of all this huge part, but we couldn’t, so there’s nothing else we can do that just take the torch (well, a torch that we never get to drop tbh xD) and make it all ourselves.
I sincerely apologize for this extra time it’s taking, but I hope it’ll be worth it, not only for the next version but for all the future development.

If I might leave a comment, some suggestions and such as someone who has played the shit out of this game since I installed it, and who loves it dearly? Please note, nothing I say is meant to upset, offend, insult, or anything like that, so if it does, I do deeply apologize.

1. I love the animations. Truly, I do. They're all fantastic, and I can only sit and hope you're planning on adding more and more and more. No suggestions or constructive criticism I here, I just love the animations.

2. Options. If I were going to suggest anything, it'd be to add options. Obviously, I have no idea how game development works, I'm just a consumer from my cushy chair, so I won't begin to tell you how to do things or when or what-have-you. Merely the suggestion of adding options to turn things on or off that some players might find less-than-fun. For example, the cum inflation the more and more you're fucked by the enemies; adding a check-box in the options to turn that on and off would be appreciated by many of us who don't particularly enjoy it. You don't have to remove anything, and I would never deign to tell you that you should, since this is your work, but adding options for things would be appreciated. An option to remove your clothes from the get-go would also be nice, as that'd make the game far more fun and "challenging" since enemies would be looking to fuck you right away, instead of having to try and work through your clothes.

3. In the same vein as 2, the option to turn off the auto-fixing of the clothes whenever you zone to new areas would be appreciated. It takes...far longer than it reasonably should, to get the enemies to tear away the PC's clothes so the real fun can begin, and all that work is lost the moment you transition to a new area and her clothes are back. I realize there are sewing machines where you can regain your clothes, but if the player chooses not to use it because they want to keep the clothes off, having them then auto-fix regardless makes all the work we spent removing them pointless. I realize you probably aren't thinking about it that way, you're thinking about the players taking damage and losing their clothes over the course of the mission, but I have to tell you, and this isn't meant as an insult...the game isn't hard. At all. I find it hard to believe that the majority of players are struggling, getting smacked around and losing their clothes while trying to play the game to win. I'm not even terribly good at shooters, but I can breeze through these missions with the remotest of ease if I really try, but that isn't why I play the game; I play it to enjoy the scenario, to roleplay it a little, and ultimately, to enjoy the sex scenes. And the clothes just get in the way of that.

4. ...I probably had a fourth point, but I can't think of anything at the moment. So I'll take this moment to tell you how much I love the game again. Because I do. I really do. Bang-on work.

And that's about it, really. Again, as I've said before, fantastic work thus far, these are just some suggestions, I wouldn't deign to tell you what to do. Also, is anyone else having a bug where you can't complete...I believe it's Mission 4? Where you just have to kill everything in the area? Unless I'm missing an enemy, I kill everything but the crystal doesn't light up.

EDIT:

I remembered what my fourth point was. Mayhaps adding the options for futa zombies later? Option as in, for those who don't like ladies with dicks and balls, a check-box to turn it on or off.

How do you unlock those? I've had trouble getting unlocks even though I met the requirements--or so I think.

If you join patreon member you will unlock outfit and upgrade more there

I can't believe this dude (TPS with zombies) single-handedly has done more in 3 years, then VersusX team in 4 years

I can. That game looks terrible. At least a passable example like that holy knight ricca game or even seed of the dead.

Yep, sorry but Bioass looks way better.

Is just minor things that need to be improved like the ability to zoom out the camera and maybe X-ray, other than that the game plays like RE 5 which is sick.

one time I said the guy to just watch RE 2 or any game and mimick the behavior of the zombies there, I want to apologize for that, these zombies have their own flare as they move like stalkers and one of them runs very funny, it gives them their own Personality, overall a Superb Job.

Now for my feedback, dude I just Want new weapons, Pls Add a Shotgun or something that lets me kill those bastard Fat Zombies I want to rip and tear....and maybe Hentai....maybe.

This is shaping like an actual Great game. Wish I could Donate something.

You must be out of the loop, there was an update a few months ago that added a bunch of new weapons, including some fatty-killing weapons.
Granted, they were locked behind an unreasonably difficult target shooting minigame level (that has since been toned down with an easy mode). Unlocking them in the bonus level and exiting the level before time runs out permanently unlocks them in the main game and for subsequent runs of the target shooting level.

About that......how the F u score so many points and quickly? Oh well I'll try my best then.

The game gets "Easier" if I suck, which apparently I'm not? wow...weird, anyway my max score so far is 5000 I can't unlock anything with that.

This is weird I have the Ver with the "Easy mode" but I don't see it anywhere, maybe I'm just dumb.

Nope I have the correct ver, all Mission are unlocked since day 1 and I don't see any Easy mode Mission one, my best now is 6000 points but 15000, 22000? That sounds absurd or impossible and Enemies only give 5 sec when killed, not points like the website says

Ok I thing I get how to get Points and is pretty annoying cause there are too many enemies and no i have The wrong ver. sigh
