Anyone seen the new update? I think there is a new area, not sure
Is there gonna be one or where are you getting this from?I'm really excited for the translation, mtl or not.
probably the assumption that previous game got translation done so it should be expected that the sequel also got itIs there gonna be one or where are you getting this from?
mtl or not.
second one don't have MTL, it only have 2 translation work, decent translation by fan and mistake.Nah, fuck that. The second one being MTL'd was what cucked us out of a decent translation for years.
There is no benefit to an MTL for a game. All it does is make real translators look at it and go "eh, it already has one" and then not pick it up.
Even if you're impatient, you can just use your own instant-translation software yourself, and use a translation service that's better than what some F95 chode pukes out of Google Translate, then tries to sell on their patreon.
The only reason this ever got a finished re-translation was because rare_cats liked the game enough to go and do it years after the fact. And I say this as the other guy that tried to retranslate it and gave up because of how bad the MTL fucked up the game's code. Seriously, you couldn't open half the Common Events in the official software because the MTL crashed RPGmaker Editor.

The "mistake" was MTL. Go look at it, and you can see it.second one don't have MTL, it only have 2 translation work, decent translation by fan and mistake.
i know that much, i bought it as i was excited to play it on english. to my surprise the translation is broken as fuck, tons of them is not even accurate. what even surprise me is after the credit where this old man prompt you to new game+, there's additional line that is not in the original game which giving credit to the translation, something about "this chinese translation presented by team [something]". that shit baffled me, they pick chinese translation then MTL it instead of translate from the original japanese text. The "mistake" was MTL. Go look at it, and you can see it.
It was just their chinese translation dropped into google translate. Names like "Nayuta" were changed to "Chiyuk", the line breaks were all removed so the text rolled off the screen, and many of the characters put in can't be displayed in RPGmaker Editor, which was what caused the crashes.
Yeah, actually noAll it does is make real translators look at it and go "eh, it already has one" and then not pick it up.
Maybe work with the base, untranslated, unfucked game? And I say this as the other guy that tried to retranslate it and gave up because of how bad the MTL fucked up the game's code. Seriously, you couldn't open half the Common Events in the official software because the MTL crashed RPGmaker Editor.
Name five times that a game got MTL'd and then a real translator came in years later to fix it.Yeah, actually no
The steam version unironically has more content, if just slightly. There's a few changes.Maybe work with the base, untranslated, unfucked game?
