Cassy heard cat-calls and jeering by the gang of men at the brothel as she and Goak walked past them, Cassy far from reach of them. They arrived at the stable to see Veranda giving a lucky stable boy a hand job. Cassy stared at this act in embarrassment. Goak just ignored it and climbed onto a nearby horse. A howl split the air as Cassy and Veranda and Goak rode. The horses, battle-trained, merely snorted and trotted on ahead. Goak said to Cassy "Due to you being part-cat, tell use what is approaching?" Cassy replied "Canines, wolves I think, through these wolf's have red eyes like mine, and fur that is the color of pitch." "Wargs" replied Veranda, she then added "I'll take care of it." Veranda muttered something, and the area around them lit up in a bright flash of light, blinding Goak and Cassy.
"OW!" yelped Cassy, as she rubbed her eyes. Goak merely grumbled and stayed on the path. "There, their running off with their tails behind their legs." smirked Veranda. "Wait you didn't kill them?" Cassy asked, scared. Goak answered Cassy's question "Wargs are easily scared by bright lights, it hurts their eye's severely." said Goak.
Hours pass, it's dawn.
Cassy yawned and said "May we camp now?" "Yes we can if we want to be captured by brigands." Goak said sarcastically. Veranda joined in by saying, "We ride till night approaches then we'll camp. For now let's take a breather and let the horses eat." They did so, breaking out some food Veranda had on her horse. It was plain, but durable food meant for travel, Cassy ate it ravenously. They then continued on.

Nothing happens and they camp after traveling for 10 hours. Goak and Veranda take the two watches since Cassy ate and then immediately fell asleep on her blankets, from exhaustion of barely getting any sleep over the last 2 days. (They do not realize she has been draining sex.) Cassy lightly fingers herself as she sleeps.
