Wise men story gets into comedy. That would a be a new storyline for all those hollywood producers. The only thing i can remember who were making fun of them was in Monthy Phyton Life of Brian.

If anyone cares... I'm not going to be paying for my chat until I get some PMs from people who are regular visitors. It's just... not worth it anymore.

Why not just start using IRC instead? You'll have to download a client(although many networks have browser-based clients, too) and learn a few commands, but that's about it.

My somewhat halfassed attempts to get people to convert to IRC have never really worked. My latest one hit a stall when I had problems coding the java chat I was writing from a template. Can't wor out why it's not working anymore; it randomly stopped working.

That's why I love code.

One minute it's working perfectly, the next it's fucked up for no reason and you have no idea why!

And you get to read AAAALLLL that beautiful code, looking for where something went wrong. Which is why, when possible, it's good to have a copy of what was there before you made any changes, so you can compare, the two, or even say 'fuck it', chuck the changes out the window and use that previous version.

No, you see, it worked fine. It was left alone, no edits were made to it by myself.

Then, it stopped working. I think perhaps the website it was hosted on may have interfered, because it's all I can think of.

Then ask the people/person that host the site if they did anything. If yes, tell them to STOP THAT. If no, then I have no clue.

Yes, that's happened to me before and that's what I was suggesting happened.

Also, one time I had an error with a website could find no mistakes that would cause it, then went to someone for help, and it magically worked when he looked at it, and didn't even do anything.

Coding is a real fun to do.

Canadian TV is so much better than American overly violent and sexualized crap. Watch the Canuck equivalent to CSI, and it's set in Toronto in the early 1900s. It is so much more interesting, and tones down all the sex and doesn't show the violence in flashback sequences. Much more family friendly experience.

I don't get YTV or Teletoon anymore, which is sad...

The reason we get so much of that kind of TV is because anything more hardcore then that, as could be shown in Europe and whatnot, would spark moral outrage

So yeah.

I may not have a job after this weekend.

Because of a minor screwup and a FAVOR that I did by pulling an extra 4 hours elsewhere.

Showcase is Canadian, with their soft core pornography, and Trailer Park Boys. The soft core erotica/horror anthology "The Hunger" was an old Canadian/ British show. And the Space channel regularly shows films without cutting anything. Canadian TV can have just as much sex and violence on it.

Indeed just looking at Canadian film ratings, we're rather more open than American media. Saving Private Ryan was R in the States, but only 14A (about a PG-13 equivalent) here in Canada. Same with the Matrix and many others.
