According to the letter I just received, my internets shall return to me on the 31st. Seeing how I contacted the provider at the beginning of the month, a whole month is a bit long to wait. I'll be out of commission until at least Friday, the power lead for my laptop has been playing up for a while now and over the past couple of days it has been getting worse so I tried to sort out the kinks in the lead near the connector head and I managed to tear it off completely. I'll hopefully be able to get one on Friday, but it does mean any posts people are waiting on me for will be posponed for at least a few days if not more if I can't get a new lead.

I have returned. Thankfully little damage to our house, but there are trees down EVERYWHERE and I'll be out of power for at least another week. Thankfully the old guy who lives next to us has a whole house generator, so we were able to hook most of our stuff to his. Ironically enough, the cable providor never went out, just the power.
