Re: AWMBI - Discussion

Well, picture yourself in a castle under seige. Supply lines have been cut off, but you have let's say, enough food to eat well for 6 months. Why start rationing now? I mean, it's not like its an immediate problem, right?

And yes, I realize that isn't a perfect metaphor, but you get the point, I hope?

The monsters seen while travelling.

As for the clothes, the prison people cut up clothes to make the rags, it leads to a longer supply, as one set of clothes can be turned into rags for about three people :)
That was my question. Unless they threw me in with the woman who refused to put up with them, which is honestly probably a good idea. I still fully intend for Ashley to gtfo as soon as possible. Her first experience with them was kind of.... negative, and as is she's not much the type to put up with a large number of similar individuals around her.

I... do get the point... but with the clothes, there ARE more immediate problems. Weapons. Food. Fortifications. Places for the futas to bed the regular women, that're not gonna turn off either party. Tearing up the clothes takes time and effort.

I'd understand it more if it were along the lines of, "everyone's wearing just enough for decency" - so shirt + pants, set of underwear, or some random combination thereof, but only one layer over each area. Not "oh, we're going to cut up this perfectly good T-shirt and make breastbands out of it".

I'd understand it more if it was a month or so in the future, but right now in the "Unpacking" thread, it's been less than twenty-four hours, and they've already refitted everybody. The "Prison" thread makes more sense, as it's been a week.

I agree with DeMatt. Unless Ashley was out for more than a day. Also, when the time skip happens, if she's still in the prison for the time skip can I have her working out or improving her dexterity or something? Doesn't have to be a lot, I just want to ask.

Why do you guys always have to nitpick and question every little thing?

Cuz. I don't think RJ minds all that much, it's okay if he does a few things that don't make any sense, we just have to beat it to death if we catch it.

Also, one possibility is that Ashley was in a part of town that didn't get hit until a day or two later, and the prison had already been well established. Also, why did they put her in the same room as the futa that raped her? That's just weird.

Problem.
Is she's there how she's gonna get to the inn suddenly and apply for a mission?
So instead of worrying about minor things like this lets get rid of this major block ASAP SO I CAN START DOING A MISSION.
I am getting bored spamming Why and What in the Last post thread.

You've GOT three characters for a mission. ToxicShock's Josie, SilentSilth's Kaila, and Rin.

Any time now.

Fine, drop Josie and add Selena. Still three characters, the limit for a mission. Post in the "Wild Animals" thread if you want to do that, or petition RJ for a looting thread if that's what you want to do.

I thought there was a different number for plot missions or something. i kinda wanna go but I still want that looting run. Sure it's just a glorified looting run, I realize, but it's still wasted until I do something more about it.

Would selena be up for going to the police station with me?

It's like if you went outside right now, looked up, and saw dead pixels in the sky. You'd ask questions, wouldn't you? If something doesn't seem right, we have to ask, that's how it works. Most of the time, it really isn't a big deal, but there are some things that still don't sit right with me, even if just a little.

-the whole hell-in-a-handbasket-overnight thing. I get that it was fast, but everyone immediately captured or fighting to the inn within a few hours seems a bit of a stretch.

-how fast the inn and prison were set up. Seeing as how everyone who has arrived at the inn felt the need to sleep, I'm thinking all this happened before, say, midnight. Let's say the invasion started at sundown, maybe eight-o-clock. In the time between then and the first PC to arrive, Amy had the Inn fortified, staffed, organized, and supplied, and I assume the prison started up about as fast. There is plenty of good reasons I can think of for this, it just hasn't been explained yet.

-the prison's looting. We have been going out on looting runs since the morning of day one, and every single place we've gone has been looted before we got there (right down to the booze, most of the molotov-guality stuff was taken). It has been told us that practically everyone either winded up at the inn or prison that first night, and all the rest were killed (males) or captured (females). There have been a few lone survivors, but every one has pretty much hunkered down and not done any looting. That means that a combination of the prison people and the Goddess' chosen few picked the place dry in about eight-twelve hours. Except that the prison stated that they had already spent massive time/womanpower to free two or three hives of women, and dragged them all to safety, so where'd they find the time? This one is my biggest 'wtf?', but I at least see the OOC reasons for it

-some of the up-there NPCs, specifically the inspired. Eceryone starts with a single whatchamacallit, and gets more at significant junctures, but all the inspired NPCs seem to have multiple already, despite the fact that most seem not to have left a haven since this all happened. Once again, I can see multiple reasons why, but it hasn't been explained. I'm pretty sure it ties into the reasons the inn/prison was set up so fast, however.

Now, just for the record, this is not a list of complaints. This is a list of unanswered questions the players, and probably some of the characters, have. I think a couple may be plot points that will be uncovered at a later time, and I'm sure that other people have additional ones that I didn't think of.

And I'm sure that other people have additional ones that I didn't think of.
How did they get Inspired powers in the first place? How did anyone? And why is it that the amount of monsters encountered by the character's group is tantamount to the amount of characters in that group? Who's to say there isn't a building full of two dozen monsters, that wouldn't hesitate to even attack one girl? Why is it that a single character, all alone, has only seen one monster at a time? Is there any particular reason for this?

And to add onto River's question, why are people like the Director, the Goddess, and all of the other over-powered NPC's so unbelievably strong? And why white hair? Is there any significant fact that we aren't aware of that makes their hair white?

And that's another thing that stumps me; Essence, drained through sex? Does that make any sense? I don't think so, and yet it's what this whole game seems based around, sex, sex, sex, as if the whole game just seems to revolve around sex, and impregnation, and gives no thought to structure, or reason.

I'm sorry, Raptor, but you're doing it wrong. Try to make your facts within the game more coherent with sense the next time you decide to so blithely say you're using, "Logic"

I vote, for reasons I am unwilling to disclose, that Marx is, in fact, an alternate screenname for RaptorJesus himself, and is in fact using it to try and incite me into something.
