I will chip in my two cents' worth...

I think she's on the verge of death. If Melissa flubs this second chance, Mina dies, and Melissa and Jenn end up as root-fodder. If Melissa doesn't take too long about it (which I will define as, "wins the fight"), then she can revive Mina sorta like she did way back in their apartment, when she tortured Mina thinking that would help her.

But she has to win first. No way would she be able to sit down and feed Mina essence with the plant-Goddess looking over her shoulder - she'd grab Melissa and rape her silly again.

If Melissa DOES lose... maybe Melissa and Jenn are rescuable. Maybe. Wouldn't count on it - the only team anywhere near is in dire straits right now.

I'm kinda hoping my writing sways RaptorJesus's decision-making, should the dice indicate a loss...

What I'm hoping happens, mainly because I hate sad shit, is that in a last ditch effort to save Mina Melissa try's to feed her energy and brings her back from the dead.

Well, the good news is, I tried to write her such that she unconsciously started to try.

The bad news is, she doesn't know there's actually anything to save, and without that, she's not gonna go about it the "right" way - that is, fuck her. Melissa's got no interest in necrophilia, particularly with the corpse of the woman she'd been growing to love.

As Melissa cries, for the longest time, her tears getting Mina's limp chest wet, and running down her life-less body, until she... Did Mina just twitch? Melissa starts to recall the events of when they first met, and remembers... That Mina's life depends on the energy she absorbs... And since her energy was absorbed...

(C'mon, already... Essence isn't given through tears... Jeez...)

Though tears may help lubricate said essence!


Jeez, way to turn melissa into a necrophiliac.

You know, as I was reading back on my dream, I thought to myself what it would be like. Then I realized I could never get passed meeting you people, let alone deal with the monsters.

If I ever met RJ in person I'd... I'd just feel really awkward.
