Yeah, that's kind of why Izzy is using the "I know I didn't do that right" tone. Only other alternative I got is "Place," since he probably doesn't feel safe at his apartment any more...but why he'd be asking strangers/potential agents for that doesn't seem right either.

Course, didn't River say something about changing his face? Guess we wait and schee.

Yeah I even tried saying it out loud with my lips held back to see if something came to mind, so I'll just wait to see his response. Rashar has to be one of the most interesting characters I've ever come across before.

Agreed. I like the True Faith that isn't exactly in a traditional higher power. Poor Eve, all creeped out by him. I figure Izzy's used to working with the public enough to not let deformities bother her too much, same as me with my job (at least until she sees him without the hood.)

Alright, question!
Could Protean 1 (the seeing in the dark normally thing) be activated "accidentally" by staring really hard and trying to look under that hood of Rashar?
EDIT:
I've read somewhere that the Gangrel could use Protean to transform into any animal they want as long as it's a scavenger or predator. Is that true, or rather, does that apply here?

Yep, that's pretty much how Protean 1 is activated anyways. As for the creature, I'm going to say yes, with prior consent, since it's mostly fluff anyways. Just can't go and give you something too broken in terms of special abilities, other than that, go for it

Having a busy weekend (Sun & Salsa festival today, whoo!) so I'm mostly-away. Should be back tomorrow if I'm not posting semi-regularly today. (Figure I'm not a vamp, might as well enjoy getting all freckled up while it's still actually hot outside! Not like we get this kind of weather the other six-to-eight months of the year. XD)

Well she was pretty much the obvious choice, most of us are playing this for the first time plus shes a great writer. Have fun at the festival.

I thought the shapechange was the intermediate power shape of the beast, or am I reading that wrong.

EDIT: I found this and thought it was funny considering Copper keeps hearing the song "Love Bites"

And Phee...trying to translate Rashar is fun. I normally get most of them, but some throw me for a loop.

I've started trying to say want I want Rashar to say out loud without using my lips to put it into his speech. Oh, and Ayhat translates to mayhap (Basically an equivalent of maybe).

According to sourcebooks, bears are possible, albiet they tend to be smaller than real bears. General rule is to pick any of the "traditional" vampiric associated animals (bat, crow/raven, horse, wolf, large dog, cats, even stag), although some books were even listing wasps as an option (huge wasps!) The shape of the beast is generally there for both aspects of what the beast represents, fight or flight. One animal form, say the wolf, is for combat, while the bat is for escape. Another rule, too (though Shrike may overturn this), is that once you've picked your alternate forms, you can't change them. Meaning, if you picked bear and bat, you can't ever change into a wolf. (I think that's to keep people from abusing the discipline, but ultimately, it'd be Shrike's call. She's ST.) And, also to answer Ronny's question, yes. Full blown shapeshifting is intermediate Protean. He's gotta get through the gleam and the feral claws first, hehe.

Alrighty, I'm back, ended up sleeping like 16 hours, late for work, but I'm the only cleaner here today, so nobody will notice anywho, let's's see:

Rule: bear's fine, and Copper's right, you can change your mind every five seconds, right up until the first time you use it, then it's set.
