Well if we were in a battle against large numbers of faceless peons I imagined your character would be knocking some out then drinking their blood briefly before jumping to the next target.

So slow but still beyond human regeneration normally, but requires blood to heal anything serious in a practical time frame.

Also, just for fun I did a bit of rough math on the specifics of dodging bullets. At a generous 20 meters away you would have approximately 5 milliseconds time to dodge a common 9mm pistol round, and 2.1 milliseconds to dodge a 5.56 rifle round. Both travel faster than the speed of sound, so you'd better be watching the gun if you want to know it's coming. Ever done one of those reaction speed tests?

This is though of course a school with vampires, magicians, aliens and elementalists, so real world physics can be toned down a little for story and fun's sake.

Can confirm the math on that Squid, and yeah agreed, even with vampiric speed, they would HAVE to actually be facing where the shot came from to have the chance to dodge. Although the speed timing figured gives a whole new appreciation now for Wesker's reflexes in Resident Evil, cuz he dodges at point blank fucking range.

@Squid My average reflex time is between .07 (Hand) and .12 secs. (Leg) But I know that even the most trained reflexes only max out at around .03 - .04 (An average eye blinking)


According to that 1600 meters is just enough for Kung Fu masters to dodge a 9mm.

Too bad the bullet wouldn't reach them, even a .308 is only good till around 800 meters...

But the question remains... Can YOU dodge a bullet?


Speaking of which... I been thinking of the big retuning to this...

@Oni - I knew Grace did skirts and such more, but I also recall her liking to branch out and "rebel" a little from the expected norm, that's why I wasn't sure. Either way, it's still a cute drawing.

@Siphon - I don't think too many of us would take too kindly to someone gnawing on the straights, so it wouldn't just be you policing the undead, though you do have the best chance of doing so, likely. Outside of, say, Maria, maybe.

*chuckles* I hear "Blood Mage" and I think Dragon Age, though that whole "blood boil" thing is pretty similar to a spell they cast, too. I think it's just a universal thing among those that screw around with the blood. Tremere included.

@Bei -Well, with the new event kicking off, you've got time to decide.

Grace is a year older, but also a little shorter than Isa. Though her expression is also more meek in the drawing than usual. I was expecting that to potentially throw people off.

For a moment there I thought Bei had super human reaction times, until I realised he was talking about reflex times. Really the closest you get to the art of bullet dodging, is anticipating the timing of a shot, and moving before they fire, hoping that they don't react themselves and adjust in time/accurately enough. Of course with the difficulty of this, it's understandable no one ever gets much opportunity to "practice".

The old guide put together by Nunu lists (though never described in detail) the clothing items in the uniform. Click A Building, and then the uniform button that shows up top beside the building description. One thing is, have we ever mentioned or decided what time of year it is in game? I've always been kind of wondering, but never gave it full thought.

With all the white, I imagine the school has to spend extra on good laundry supplies.

It's... It's taken me three years. Three LONG years for me to finally get something like that out of you Oni. It's one of those things you want all your life, but when it finally comes you just don't expect it...

Three minutes is all it takes for me to change my mind

Anyway, from what I can recall the following has happened since the dance;

1. Art was possessed by a vengeful spirit called Charles, who used Art's body to try and take revenge. He failed and left Art's body because it was quickly dying. Art's currently in a coma and without his soul.

2. Siphon was changed into some kind of Ancient Vampire during the battle against Charles.

3. Siphon battled Hero's demon girl character, she lost to him and they talked. Dunno what about though. Note: Hero hasn't posted for quite some time and though I've contacted him about his status he hasn't replied yet.

4. Demon Hunters stormed the school to get Charles/Demon Girl character/Whoever, Siphon and a few others fought them off.

5. Athanasia has rigged up a zombie virus to the schools water supply ready to be released should she feel it has to come to that. None of the others are aware though.

6. After sharing an emotional dream together Isabella was kidnapped and Grace is trying to rally people together to rescue her. This is the current event. I believe Squid is thinking about running one for those who are left behind/decide not to join this event.

Thats all I can remember at the moment, if anyone knows anything else feel free to add. We've also got a few new members, Cross_Grace, Vina-Fran and Undead_Kenny and Master Bei Shun is thinking about rejoining. TentanariX will/may be joining once the current event is over.

Charles was the night after, I believe the demon/Siphon battle and the Demon Hunter battle was the day after the Charles battle, there was a lazy day the day after that and now we're on the day thats started this current event.
