Welcome, Rain and Hali. Hali, I'll try not to hold your preference of the fedora against you.
You sir, should be shot many many times for disliking one of the most awesome hats in the history of ever. Your post sickens, offends, and insults me all at once, and I also somehow feel violated.

Sir, it is amply obvious that the trilby is a much greater hat than the lowly fedora. Furthermore, you, if you do indeed prefer the fedora, deserve to not only feel, but be sickened, offended, insulted, and violated.

Clearly your fashion sense suffers from your poor mental condition, and the evidence of your poor mental ability is your romantic status!

Sir, I'll thank you to leave my romance or lack thereof out of this conversation. Such has absolutely no bearing on my own intellectual superiority.

That besides, from the whisperings I've heard, you certainly should not be insulting a fellow gentleman on that of all subjects.

Wait, did you just make a brand new topic for this, or did nunu make it and move your posts to it because you were getting off topic?

I think nunu moved this here.

That said, you are still wrong Momiji and Kusanagi.

hey, there was no invitations to this party. This is a match between two hats. If we start comparing ALL hats....

interesting that the only discernible difference between fedoras and trilbys is about 2cm of brim

Re: Fedora vs Trilby

If it's a competition between all hats, I second Toxic.

But Fedora wins in my opinion.

2 inches of brim.. and the dents.

Those two inches make the difference between a great hat for the outdoors, or if you happen to be an archaeologist who spends his/her time invading ancient temples filled with death traps.. And a smooth, sleek-looking urban hat that incidentally, goes great with a suit.

Trilby wins for me.

Pale is a true gentleman and scholar.
Except that's a fucking lady, and ladies don't know fashion.

Look at red lipstick. How many ladies wear that? But that looks like ass. Ass covered with warts.

What about crocs? True, both genders can wear them, but I find that in my area more girls wear them from boys. They look like shit, they suck, and I hate them.

Even if I disagree with the rest of your post, you, sir, deserve rep for this.

Hmm, now when we start talking accessories, it's tough to beat the top hat-monocle combination, but I think it can be done.

Re: Fedora vs Trilby

This thread is a thread where men can openly talk about clothes.

Like women.

You all sicken me.

Also, I despise khaki shorts. Khaki is supposed to look casual. When you make them short, you look like a professional pervert.

Re: Fedora vs Trilby

I'm instantly attacked.. but seriously. Try wearing a fedora with a suit. Or, anywhere but on holiday/hiking in the jungle. You'll be -laughed at-.

Plus, Crocs aren't supposed to look good. They're comfy, easy to wash, disposable, and cheap. Oh, and you can get them in any damn colour you please.

The shoe of the recession.
