Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Normally, a Kejourou is a monster (while still a woman in appearance) that strangles her victims to death with her long prehensile hair. I'm guessing at this point that her hair is instead used for purposes of rape, because that's only natural at this point.

She also seems to be okay with letting her tits hang out. To each their own, I'm not complaining.

EDIT: Also, she's gonna be a member of Zippangu, so don't worry about her climbin' in yo windows and snatchin' yo people up. You don't need to hide yo kids and hide yo husbands.

The original Syn was actually a crossbreed of that and a Dullahan. Net result, a woman who's head could climb walls with her hair etc.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Such things wouldn't actually be cross breeds. It'd more be the case of a dullahan stealing a Kejourou's ability. It's pretty common for more powerful mamono to have the option of using abilities not natural to them.

Well, I didn't do it this time heh. Just the original concept of her long ago was such.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

I enjoy seeing creatures from folklore given a monster girl variant. There is a lot of lore to tap.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

There's a lot of lore indeed, but there are things that should not be tapped into.

Why is it my first thought went to mainly this?

I was quoted and realized I didn't even communicate my message properly.

Fuck me, F- in English, and ejected from class.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Red filth licker. They might be able to make it work. Long tongue. Oral fixation. Change the filth into eating garbage, or substituting it entirely for sexual fluids.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Alright, it's confirmed - Kenkoku must be reading this RP.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Coolness. I dig the long tongue. Just need the English translation ...

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Either that or gives you a tongue-job from across the room.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

For anyone who read that lore entry, lemme know if something still isn't clear. When talking about the afterlife, I also had to dip into how the soul and body works in this universe. It may have been a lot to swallow, and perhaps there are still some unanswered questions that I missed while typing everything up.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

One thing I am curious about, is what happens when a magically powerful and skilled mamono dies. As a disembodied soul, can she still use her magic to somehow create a body, assuming she had the ability to make something that can serve as such while alive? Or can she do something similiar to going demon?

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Yes, it was kinda implied as the advantage of having a transient body (aka the bodies demons and angels use), that no matter how much damage they suffer, they can simply grow lost body parts back.

So powerful creatures, in the event they lose their physical form, tend to retreat to the safest place they can be in order to revive themselves. Otherwise, the less fortunate simply have their soul destroyed by whatever killed them. Starving to death and vanishing is still possible, but it's highly unlikely if a powerful creature became powerful in the first place, which implies success in finding energy as a food source to fuel their power.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

What about powerful mages or magi? Could they use the power of their soul and magic to create a new body for themselves after death?

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Depends on who you're talking about. Members of the Order do get their new bodies so long as they're loyal, and that's when they get called Angels.

Members of the Magi typically do not become angels. Instead, they've invested in altering their bodies to remove the natural decay of age, or outright turning themselves into machines powered by the magic of their own soul.

A fine example of this would be Fortmaster Cleska, the (former) leader of the Magi. Her body is entirely a machine, and she has dozens of supplement bodies prepared in the Magi HQ in the event that she is actually defeated in combat. She simply returns to her lair and takes over a new mechanical body. Read Kala's thread to learn more about what happened to Cleska, as well as a practical example of how the soul and body compliment each other.

Someone who doesn't have a religious afterlife in mind should really make a backup plan in the event of their demise, as many successful individuals of great power do, but as we can observe from Cleska, enemies of said individual will find this escape and reformation of a new body a hassle, so few are keen on letting their defeated foe escape.

Re: Monster Girl Island OOC chat

Ah. Yeah, I read what happened to Cleska. :) Turned into a harmless subserviant doll by the dwarves.

So how do undead mamon fit into the scheme of things? Are they simply mamono who are powerful enough to re-animate their body, or are they similar to Cleska and capable of taking new bodies for themselves? Or are they capable of creating a body if one isn't available?
