As far as MGI, their Lore there would be highly inconsistent. The Order would be kicking it's own ass if they willingly sent off their dudes to be kidnapped by sexy hip dancers.

I don't understand either of your questions, but lemme try to answer.

The Apsara will reside as non-combatants near the water but mostly residing in Atlantis and Undine's temple. They're just sexy dancers with magical hip magic.

It's been well established that yes indeed, there is a god backing the Church of the Order. You would have to have been running away from the Lore screaming while holding your eyes shut and chanting: "Out of sight, out of mind" over and over to not realize that they do have a God on their side.
