If it faints, release it.
Only catch the first Pokemon you encounter in an area. If it dies, no new party member for you.

So apparently Silver requires a manual delete, you can't just save over the old info. I found this out after clearing the first gym. I'll try again tomorrow.

I was never interested in Bulletstorm, as the protagonist sounds like a terrible person and not someone I'd want to listen to for the duration of the game. Or any of it.

i have to say they did do the chick in it well though. Mostly she's just as manly as the rest of the characters and no one cares (and barely mentions) that she's a girl.

I now own Magicka. And it is awesome. Except when I'm playing with all 3 of my Teamspeak buddies. Then, it's just pure, pure chaos.

The one loves to use mines. Which knock everyone in their blast radius around. Which sucks on maps you can get knocked off of. Wouldn't be so bad, but you lose your gear. MOTHER FUCKERS MADE ME LOSE MY "SWORD OF THE MASTER"(or was it masters? I forget).

Then you get the mother fucker who loves to use the shield all the time. It's a nice thought, but when I'm using my beam spells, I DON'T WANT THEM SUDDENLY REFLECTED BACK AT ME. OR ANOTHER PARTY MEMBER FOR THAT MATTER.

Then there's the third guy, who..... well, okay, he's actually pretty decent.

Then there's me. Who loves SSSAF. Which looks like a Proton Stream. And I like to cross streams.

The name of that kind of playthrough is Nuzlocke. Thinking about doing one on SS or Platinum now that I've traded everything worth trading over onto White.

I actually got White a day early for the European release. Got it on the Thursday completed the story today. Spent 18 hours on it yesterday (saturday for those reading this in the future), and while I wasn't originally going to make a post here about it because I doubt many people on the forum are Pokemon fans the story is pretty damn amazing. The experience gain mechanic change is pretty good too, now instead of each Pokemon having a set amount experience it gives you upon defeat it has a base experience stat that gives you more experience if your Pokemon is a lower level than the one it defeated or less experience if you're a higher level. While it makes grinding a bit more challenging I found that after the first or second gym you don't really need to level grind, and once you get to around about half way through the game you don't even need to battle wild Pokemon, instead just concentrating on Trainer battles. My end game team was (ignoring the cover legendary you're forced to bring with you) Serperior, Lilligant, Simipour, Scrafty, Victini (Liberty Island Pass Wi-Fi event) Elektross.

I am tempted to get Magicka as well after watching the Vietnam DLC trailer. Now that's one DLC that I won't mind paying for. Hell. I would buy the game just so I can get my hands on the DLC.

That comic cracks me up whenever I get linked to it. Anywho, I chose White simply because of Petilil/Lilligant. Glad I made that choice now too because she's helped me immensely. Though I could've gotten Black after all because there's an ingame trade that allows you to get Petilil.

So after not deleting Silver, I decided to try it on Diamond. I made a run of it to the first gym leader, and then learned that I had better start grinding because elsewise you'll end up with a TPK. Which I did. I mean, techinically not everyone had died, but there is no retreat button, and magikarp has no attacks, so same difference. Try two, and I am grinding up for the first gym.

You can't connect your DS to the internet at your home? Or don't you have a DSi? Japan, I am disappoint.

By what I found it adds, beyond the ususal prethoria of extra goodies such as keyblades, items, etc:

-A 'secret' episode based in the final, final scene of BBS
-Several new bosses, including the 'Lingering Sentiment' versions of Xehanort and Master Eraqus
-A visit to Monstro, unless I'm reading the scene there involved in the trailer wrong, either way you beat up the giant ass whale again.

Not sure why you're so mad, re-rereleasing a product with minimal new goods is a commonplace practice, it saves you money, and in a popular franchise, it's a viable choice, I mean, just look at Avatar Special Edition.

Not sure why you're so mad, re-rereleasing a product with minimal new goods is a commonplace practice, it saves you money, and in a popular franchise, it's a viable choice, I mean, just look at Avatar Special Edition.

The only reason that I'm kinda mad is really more based that the Final Mixes usually add more storyline stuff as well as the usual extra items and blah. I'm personally in it for the storyline sometimes and it's not the first time I've had to resort to youtube to see stuff I couldn't play personally, but still...

Well you can put your password back on once you've downloaded the event, if anyone's connected to it then it'll just kick them off. But I understand why you don't want to do it. Whenever I want to connect my DSi to the internet I need to switch over from WEP to WPA, which is pretty annoying because all my other wireless things are kicked off the internet until I switch back. I would set everything up to run on WPA but my parents insist on keeping it set up as it is.

I didn't have much of a problem training up Panpour, that being said the only Pokemon I had in my team until I got Petilil was Snivy and Panpour so the two of them weren't exactly in competition for experience points. I did however underestimate the first gym and got my ass handed to me on my first attempt. And I'm not fussed on the Daycare center, not only can it over write your moves your Pokemon don't get much needed EV points from normal training. And while I don't bother with proper EV training on the story playthrough they do come in handy to boost your stats somewhat. Victini was a godsend for my team though, especially considering I wanted a fire type but couldn't get the ghost/fire type until later and I don't really like Darumaka. Victini is pretty strong, but not too strong to make the game easy.
