Re: Guns and Goths (Hero and Lurker)
Suzy growled in frustration at Kita's idiocy, not bothering to consider Gray. Instead she yelled "Gray! New girl! Get out of there!", with a flick of her head so the shock of orange hair flew out of the way of her face and weapon. Having prepared, Suzy slowed her breathing, the iron sights settling into place upon one of the Queen's eyes. The world seemed to slow. Suzy could see each disgusting eye glistening in the sunlight, the dripping mandibles, the hair across it's 'face'. And she decided it needed to die.
So Suzy leant across the bonnet of the dead car, supporting herself across it as her finger slowly bent across the trigger, pulling back gently until it stopped, taking a moment to finalise just which eye she was aiming at, the central bottom one, before pulling further, a single bullet flying out of the barrel with a crack and flash, the recoil soaking comfortably into her shoulder. After the recoil had settled, Suzy fired again, and again, and 3 more times, each time allowing the recoil to settle before the next shot went. Weight of fire was not important, the monsters wouldn't feel fear of death, especially with such a big leader. What was important was landing as high a proportion of what was fired as possible. When she was done, Suzy let the rifle settle again, cordite smoke drifting above her, calmly breathing as she surveyed what damage she'd done. Hopefully, if everyone else fired, some decent damage could be done to the monstrosity. Without their big leader, the smaller minions would be easier to force into fleeing, and they could be destroyed one by one, put out of their miserable existence by the humans they sought to rape. The thought was pleasing to the ginger haired girl, bitter vengeance burning in her eyes. She wasn't exactly over all of what she'd been forced through the past 24 hours, but now, she was calm.
