Suzy whipped around at the voice, her rifle coming up in the same motion so her sights were on the man, quickly switching to the armed woman. She was about to bark her own command, but Kita got there first. The ginger girl, however, did lower her weapon, but not to a safe height, merely bringing her head a little away from the sights. "Most of us are military, and goth here's right. We're not here to hurt you."

It was likely that her words were not as comforting as she intended, as usual, since she hadn't yet pointed her rifle away from the two in the exit, and hadn't even lowered it from her shoulder, though her finger had come off of the trigger, and was now laying across the side of the furniture. She wanted to be able to react quickly if they didn't want to play nice.

The man had been about to lower his gun, when he noticed Suzy's movements when she shouted, he brough his gun around to point back at her. "Try it missy, I dare ya. We've got you all covered real well, shooting is not recomended." The group could hear shouting comming from inside the building, the women momentarily turned to an entrance and shouted back. "Not yet!" She looked a little ticked off, but about what was a mystery. "Lower your weapons and walk under the fire escape here." The man was communicating something via body language as well. "You can turn back if you want to, we won't stop you".

Suzy's eye twitched. Every fibre of her body was telling her to flee from these people, they didn't look friendly. But she refused. Her leg moved to the side, back towards the entrance, but she stopped it, lowering her rifle to her hip, and then after a few more seconds, slung it on her back, her hands slightly raised. She wouldn't leave without the others. Especially not without Alexis. So she gritted her teeth, and stood still, glaring daggers at the main on the fire escape. She didn't believe that they were surrounded, but wasn't going to take the risk.

She didn't obey the man, instead looking back at Alexis. She wouldn't move by herself, but if the redhead decided to listen to him, Suzy would follow. However, should Alexis walk away, Suzy would rush to catch up to her. Kita, Sara, and Abi, she was less concerned about.

Kita didn't notice the sniper's reaction, though winced a bit as the gal trained the rifle around. "Okokok allready! I know this isn't the best circumstances to be talking and all but perhaps if we all calmed down this would work out better?"

The man seemed to relax a bit. "Hey, don't worry, we aren't going to harm you either. It's just theres alot of crazies out there right now, looting, shooting, kidnapping, the works. We just wanna talk, but on our terms." The civilians lowered their guns a bit, but kept them ready. Alexis came up behind Suzy, motioning for her to stand down, and the group slowly moved up.

A door near the rally point opened, and two more armed civilians stepped out into them, then the man climbed down. "Ok, now who exactly are you people?"

Suzy grunted, and blinked at Alexis cutely, before straightening up, and letting her arms drop to her sides, rifle slung. She had guessed some humans would be taking advantage of the situation here, but was mildly surprised she hadn't seen any of those types so far. Instead, she stepped over to the now open door, and watched venomously as the man climbed down.

"I've already said. We're military. Corporal Biggs, though you'll have to excuse my... Absence of uniform... It was misplaced..." she said, before clearing her throat loudly, and continuing. "We're looking for stuff for our own business. And now, if you don't mind, I'll return your question...", her voice lowering slightly. She didn't trust these people, but wasn't feeling quite right at the moment, fear, mostly, was clouding her vision, and stopping her from welcoming the new people.

Kita stretched her arms slightly as she looked over the people still glaring at them. "Geeze, barely a day in and people are allready acting as if it's like Fallout... Name's Kita, I was working on gathering up supplies for my bunker of a home when some spiders dragged me down this direction, these military ladies bailed me out."

As the group was confroting the others, Alexis shot Suzy a glance that said "you aren't helping". Soon, it was clear why, as the women jumped down and started yelling. "The military that abandoned people like us? You picked the wrong warehouse ladies." The man looked a bit nervious, but didn't do anything yet. The remaning civilians were slowly closing in, but it'd take a trained eye to notice it.

"Dude, we never said that!" Kita yelped, still nervous as she noticed the others closing in. "And if we really were abandoning you guys, we wouldn't be this casual right? So just chill out and let the girl explain now... please?"

Suzy snorted, getting upset, and turning that into anger. She didn't pay attention to Alexis' look, her face turning red. "Yes. The military that abandoned people like you. And then, they abandoned people like us as well. We're as bad off as you in this shit hole, so don't hold the ranks and rifles against us, ok?" the small ginger girl snapped, deliberately letting her arms hang at her sides to minimise the physical violence. Fuck them. If the military hadn't pissed off, she'd still be in her fucking uniform, so they couldn't complain!

Of course, she was neglecting the possibility that they did have the right to complain, especially the women among these civilians... And obviously, she was also completely oblivious now to any but the nervous looking man, and the angry looking woman in front of her...

The debate was getting heated. Alexis clawed her way up front, pulling Suzy back. "Let me handle this." She a little forceful, but Suzy really was not helping. She turned to face the group, but then the woman exploded in her face. "You people have no idea! No idea!" She seemed about ready to throw a punch, but then the man stopped her, sending a sharp rebuke before turning back to the five. "That's enough. None of us here want any trouble, and neither do you it seems. If you want we can trade supplies, you can stay awhile etc. We're in short supply of food and will trade for it." The woman wasn't done yet, however. "What are you thinking! We can't let them in here!" She stomped off down the ally. The man gave a look to one of the others as if this had happened before, and was not entirely unexpected.

Alexis motioned to the group. "Okay, we'll go inside and trade then."

Kita slapped her palm against her forehead and gave a small nervious sigh. She had seen better diplomacy in the movies, and by that she means when one side had guns and the other side swords. At least the guy was sympathetic at least, as she followed them in. "I take it that happens a lot?" she asked quietly to him.

Falling back behind Alexis, glaring at the rifle-wielding civilian, Suzy hazarded a guess at why she was so angry, and cursed silently. As long as she wasn't as bad as Abi, but to behave like that to Alexis... The corporal scowled at the civvie's retreating back, reaching up to tuck her fringe back under her bandanna. She stepped up to Alexis' side again, not saying anything further, as the girl was unwilling to go against the redhead, Suzy just stood, and nodded.

The man motioned for everyone to follow. The door the two extra guards had come out of lead down a long hallway. To the right was just an unbroken exterior wall, to the left were small store rooms. The man replied to Kita as they walked. "Yes, Rika has some very strong... opinions... By the way, we need introductions. I'm Matt, that was Rika, of course. These two are Bill and Tom. What about you. I assume most of you are just Privates." He indicated everyone should introduce themselves, though he was clearly using Kita as their spokesperson.

Kita simply did a pointed look to Alexis, as if making sure if she wanted to speak. "I can't really speak for the rest of them, they only saved my ass about, er... a couple hours ago? I can tell ya I'm called Kita though."

Suzy grimaced, standing behind Alexis, but held her tongue. She was going to do as she was told, and let Alexis handle it. Much as she wanted to correct Matt, she was going to obey Alexis, and kept her mouth shut tight, simply scowling in the direction Rika had disappeared in. She could make a guess at why the girl was angry, and her guess infuriated the ginger girl more, having gone through it, and then received the anger of another victim in the space of 24 hours. She was tired of this whole thing.

Alexis noticed the small confusion, and quickly spoke up for the girls. "Kita is actually not one of us, she found her way into our outpost earlier today, and is just along for the ride, so to speak." "Is that so? Hmmm..." The man seemed to be thinking about something. "Anywho, I'm Corperal Rider, this is Corperal Biggs, and Privates Malik and Grey." "Ah, well, it's nice to have you all here, despite what some of us may think. Ah, here we are now." At the end of the hall there was a large doorway into the warehouse proper. A few tables were set up with a few dishes on them. Around the room the girls could see slight fortifications being manned by a small handful of civilians. "Just hold on a minute here and I'll go get some of the others". Then he ran off, leaving them alone at one of the tables. There didn't seem to be a clear leader of the civilians, though some people were more important then the others. No doubt several would want to come and see the group.

Suzy inclined her head as she was introduced, casting her gaze around the room, still not deigning to speak. She really wanted to be alone right now. Well, not necessarily completely alone... She glanced up at Alexis, bored that the taller woman still had her serious face on, and Suzy sat on the table with a sigh, able to cross her legs now that she had some more new clothes.

Kita sighed as she sat down on the nearest chair. "I really hope we haven't traded one group of problems for another coming here... just hope you gal's base is still intact, ya?"

In the few moments the group had to themselves, Alexis had a little something to say to Suzy. "Suzy, if I'm going to put you on point, you have to be a little less agressive. They were probably bluffing when they called you out. You should have let Kita do the talking." The shorter girl had a few seconds to respond, but then a group made their way over to the table, headed by the same man and Rika.

"So, we're going to trade, is that it. I guess you're already all in here anyway. Matt said he told you we need food, so we're willing to trade away some of our ammo for it. We've got some of the type you need. We'll even give you the extra fruit, it's about to go bad, and we can't eat it all before tommrow, when it'll surely be rotten." Matt looked a bit confused by Rika's sudden generousity and willingness to trade the fruit, and was about to object when a young women ran up. She looked alot like the girl negotiating, perhaps a younger sister. "There's a few leapers out there, some of us are gonna ambush it, we need your help Matt." He nodded, and went with her, delaying the objection for now. The two girls exchanged a glance as they parted.

Alexis motioned for the group to set their supplies on the table as the armed group was leaving, letting the remaining civilians get a good view of what they had. Rika and the others looked at it for a moment or two, then she spoke. "Well, I see you don't have all that much, but one bags worth would be nice, that could keep all of us fed for about three days, by which time we'll be ready to make another supply run ourselves." She looked up at the group, waiting for a responce. "Any objections guys?"
