keeping her eyes on the two in the building she grinned slightly and ducking away from the building quietly turned her way for the sensor tower. she knew better then to pursue a fight needlessly and so made her way to get her job done asap
And I believe you.. not at all, Kiera. At the very least, someone's given your language package an overhaul. I could have sworn the advanced humour and irony package got snapped up by that corporation and sold to the military.. exclusively. Goddess only knows what -they're- doing with it.. Ah! Hello me!
Cassidy bites back the impulse to offer a silly wave to herself in the vid-screen, and continues on in nonchalant fashion. The foodstuffs inside the convenience store receive even less of her highly esteemed attention, and the Asari stretches out long fingers to prod at the packaging on display.
She thinks better of it, though, and withdraws her fingertips.. as the door slams open to permit a dramatic entry. At least, by normal standards. For a woman that had been involved in more military breach-and-clear operations than she'd like to admit, and not usually on the right side... it wasn't all that impressive.
The sum total of her reaction is to reach for the nearest packet, and tear it open, before extending her offer of peace towards the female soldier, saying aloud..
"Klaatu.. barada nikto?"
And.. hopefully, she doesn't know her own old cinema. Or if she does, she'll get the joke.
Two Miles East of Firelight: Security Checkpoint Titan-3; Kalica.
Kalica could hear the guttural yells of disappointment from the two creatures, the sounds driving the woman to pump her legs faster. She runs past one of the abandoned houses, using her free running skills to climb up the top of the military platform used to house the sensor. This wasn't her first time climbing one of these platforms - usually, she was deactivating them instead of reactivating though. Luckily, the process was essentially the same - just backwards. Powering up the sensor took no time at all for her. The hologram over her left eye lit up as it powered on.

"Hello again, Runner Kalica. I've connected myself to the Sensor Node; and, now, I'm downloading the data from the... node...
"Hm. I'm not picking up anything from the badges Alliance Soldiers are supposed to be implanted with; so, as far as I know, there's no help in your immediate area. However, I am noticing some unidentified movement within the four mile radius of that node. I can't clearly identify it as 'enemy', but I'll let you know if any are going to head your way."

*tapping her foot waiting for it all to get going she nodded and looked about the way she had come* well one less unidentified form then there was but anyways give me the jist of what i can expect between here and the next node and i'll move on to get it up and going as well okay?
I popped out with my gun, but let it down quickly when I saw the Alliance uniforms. "Oh, hey guys." I said, waving instantly. I'd always gotten along with the soldiers. MY green eyes looked them up and down, examining their get up.
Who are they, where did they come from? And Ranks, what was their rank?
I stepped out of the aisle and attempted to greet them, provided they weren't hostile after all this...
Ashley jumped as the two soldiers suddenly barged in, so startled by their sudden appearance that she didn't even notice the male one staring at her ass. "Err...... Hello? Sorry, we're not military, or at least I'm not, so I don't know anything about any protocols we're supposed to follow. to let you know that we're not aliens, I mean. Errr... I mean, enemies. Sorry Cassidy." She said, turning to look at the two soldiers, though she threw the asari an apologetic glance towards the end of her speech.
"I'm just a doctor. I'm sorry we're late with the retrieval. Are you injured in anyway, Commander? I have a meditool on hand." She said in a warm caring tone.
If injured using EP to heal the commander up.

Circe didn't raise from her position, but she did turn her head in the direction of Ruri. "Medic Nasegawa! Get under cover now and return fire!" Circe yelled into the radio. "We can worry about our injuries after the battle."

"Well, as for my predictions, Kalica?" Kiera replied, thinking...
"...Based on their current movements and my available processing power, you have a 52% chance to run into one of these unidentified... uhm, things, within your two mile trek."
1 Mile Northwest of Firelight: Carmina Delage's house, Convenience Store; Ashley, Hali and Cassidy
After the Alliance broke itself down into different segments, ranks had become somewhat convoluted; for example, the lowest ladder 'Science Branch' was Hali's rank of Engineer was considered higher than the lowest rank of a Marine-core Grunt; but a Lieutenant was a higher rank than both Grunt and Engineer.
Only the Asari had memorized every rank of the entire Alliance Military. With the green cross on over her right breast and on her left shoulder, the woman was clearly the first rank in the medical branch - otherwise known simply as 'the medic'. The man had a blue circle on his right shoulder, with two 'X's on either side, identifying him as a Veteran Mechanic, meaning he had some experience in the Marine Core.
"They're callsign originates from Temperance Base, specifically the Close Air Support branch." Kiera piped in over the headsets of the women.
"I think my translator stopped working," the medic murmured, looking over the Asari, before turning her attention to Hali. The man replied in a murmur that sounded like he agreed, but still had his eyes transfixed on Ashley.
"I can tell you aren't an enemy... uhm, at least, not you," He coughed, clearing his throat, nodding at Ashley, "Your friends probably aren't either... since none of them are green, burly, and resemble Orcs."
"Ohhh, that would be a good name for the bad guys!" Kiera said happily, then went on to add: "Seriously, I'd like to see what's going on around me, once you're all done playing Alliance Appropriate Grab-Ass."
One Mile Southwest of Firelight: Juniper's Apartment Complexes; Circe, Ruri, Laina

Laina: Fires at Bigga 3 times, then takes cover; uses 4 EP.

Laina takes cover.

Since Ruri isn't taking an action, new round will begin.
Bigga: Moves so Laina can no longer see him, reloading as he does; Circe has a clear shot at the Bigga now.
Enemy 2: Moves out the window again, every woman losing sight of him.
Laina spins around from cover again, aiming down the iron sights of her pistol, before squeezing the trigger three times. Only one of her rounds hits the creature's armor, but it's enough to get it's attention. As soon as the round dissipates across it's body armor, the green humanoid threw itself against a wall so Laina could no longer see him. However, Circe had a beautiful shot at the reloading creature... what was he doing reloading already?
She caught movement in the corner of her eye, the other creature ducking out the window. She lost sight of him, and was about to update the others, when Medic Ruri asked if Circe was injured; the biod was quick to exchange words with her, Kiera interrupting as she came over both their headsets.
"Now girls, we're on the same team here... And Ruri, it would be helpful if you actually shot that pistol in your holster; you know, the one -all- Alliance recruits are trained to use?"
((New round, with the orcs already taking their turns. Moving will cause the Bigga to use an attack of opportunity, but he also loses an EP point each time he does so.))
*frowning and just shaking her head she turned off in the direction of her next objective and headed off for that sensor as well hoping she could make it fast or at least unseen and not have to deal with another round of trouble with these beasts*
"Okay. I was just asking out of concern and my duty as a physician." She replied mildly before taking her pistol out of it's holster and firing a round at the nearest enemy.
After the alliance soldiers statement and Kieras quip, Ashley blushed lightly and replied; "Right, well lets get to that sensor then. Do you two want to come with us?"

Circe gritted her teeth as the combat medic simply stood there after firing, but bit back an order. Instead she slid another round into her rifle and fired at the armored enemy before ducking back under cover and reloading again.
"Damn it.." Laina complained as her target slid out of view. She turns to the medic while reloading her pistol. "Nase.. Nasegawa right? Stay here, and don't let anything creep up on us around the side." Laina moves to the doorway and takes a moment to brace herself before sprinting out towards the building just south of her. As soon as she gets far enough to see the big orc, she raises her pistol and opens fire on it again before ducking into the building.
(Reload, run south until I can see the bigga again, fire three times, run inside the building between circe and where I am now, and finally take cover.
That was kind of a complex move >.> Also, it's corps, not core. English is a language designed by sadists.)
Reassured of the marines' hostile status, Cassidy drops back into English, casting the opened packet to one side like a cigarette butt, even pausing to grind it under her boot heel before speaking.
"Sorry about that. Can't be too careful, in times like these. I should remind you lot.. that fraternising is forbidden by your own military code of ethics. I suggest you take any grievances with that up with Kiera, as she seems to have assumed the role of temporary commanding officer. Anyway.."
In a remarkably human moment of awkwardness, Cassidy clears her throat, and her hands ball nervously at her sides, though her eyes don't drop.
"I hate to say it.. but the computer's right. Where's that sensor the boss-lady wants activated..? You marine-types are welcome to come with us. Maybe the mechanic can serve as rearguard, if he enjoys sightseeing that much..
I grumbled, a bit tired from the multitude of things going through my head all day. I heard the Asari's comment about rear guard and perked up a bit, "But I've already got a... Oh." I put my head down and remained a little quiet for a time.
I was all for the plan to continue on, but the objective had already been voiced, it didn't seem necessary to pipe up again for them, they understood. Once we'd get moving the others would make idle chat, and I'd listen intently, taking in their talk to learn a little about everyone.
One mile east of Security Checkpoint Titan-3: Abstergo Corporate Housing, Medicinal Drug Storehouse; Kalica.
Kalica moved northwest, easily climbing over a security perimeter that the Titan Defense Force had set up. On the other side of the heavily fortified wall was the Abstergo Corporate Housing for people the mid- to high ranking people in the branch on Titan. The houses weren't damaged at all... and she knew there was a Stash House here for Runners, mainly for medicinal supplies. She could get some back to that odd medic, Ruri, or just keep on with the mission at hand.

"Wait. Before we go, I want to know your credentials; Who you are, what base you're from..." As he spoke, the woman next to him holstered her pistol, working on her omnitool. By the time the Engineer had finished the long list of everything he wanted from them, the medic had pulled the small holographic display hanging over her left eye in front of her body, expanding it into a 2x3 window, pointing her omnitool at the three women in front of them, starting with Hali. As she pointed, she acted as if she grabbed something, then dropped it into the large window. A picture of each of them appeared, with some information about the person.
"They're all from Firelight base. According to the information available, the woman with red hair is the highest rank, tied with the asari. Going by Seniority? The Asari."
Taking her omnitool, she collapsed the hologram, placing it back over her left eye, tapping on her tool to clear the information, before looking between the three.
"My name's Theresa, the..." She strained not to say the next part, or at least it seemed so, "...higher-ranking officer next to me is Veteran Mechanic Kyle Jones."
"...Hm? Oh, right, Cassidy; I told them you were someone else and gave you the same rank as Hali. Thank you for serving the Alliance proudly for 20 long years!"
"As nice as it would be to help you all out, we need to get back to a base," Theresa explained, "We've been stuck out here for nearly five days, and the food here has been less than nutritious for us."
"Not to mention we haven't been able to sleep much," Mechanic Jones added on.

Humanoid 2: Moves to the corner of the destroyed building, firing at the exposed Ruri twice; uses 3 EP.

Laina breaks into a sprint, dodging over the small half-wall she was hiding behind, hoping to get in view of the large orc. As she ran, the orc peeked out from behind his cover, shooting her with a small, green glob of... well, 'stuff', hitting the woman's shoulder. With a yelp, Laina kept running, dodging into another building as the armor over her shoulder began to melt away. She waited until the strange acid had stopped, moving to shoot at the orc, only two of her rounds hitting. Enraged, the orc ripped off his now useless armor, roaring at the small woman - only for Circe to deliver a round to the creature's shoulder.
By the time the creature had recovered from the attacks on it, both Circe and Laina were back in cover. He growled lowly, glaring at the cover... when he heard the shot fired by Ruri land in the wall on his opposite side. Pushing his back up to the wall, he glanced around and saw the medic wasn't in cover, checking to see if her shot had landed. While he may not survive the encounter, he was ready to give his life to weaken the enemy; so, he spun around from cover, firing twice at Ruri, the two green globs striking her chest armor and beginning to melt away the kevlar, leaving just the fatigues beneath. Still not in cover, the smaller orc ran around the corner of the building, firing at Ruri - missing both times.
Ruri could see the smaller orc, the two of them not in cover; only Laina and Circe could see the 'Bigga'.
When she saw the smaller greenskin, Circe spoke into her radio, "Nasegawa, on your 2. Liana and I will take care of the leader."
Giving a smile to finally be doing damage to the enemy, Circe stood up, took aim at the big creature, and fired. She didn't have time to get back under cover though.
"R-right! I've got him!" Ruri shouted nervously but determined to protect her escort and other allies as she stayed within her cover but would pop out every now and fire off a shot at the smaller orc planning on removing at least one threat.
