Going outside, many scorpion women were already moving around and helping others that were still alive. "They left us alive because once they had Anubis, they pretty much won anyway." one scorpion woman said to another. Meanwhile, Garran found a wounded scorpion on the ground. She was breathing, but had a large gash across her body. Considering how tough they were, the blow would have likely ripped someone like Garran clean in half. "First aid... In my pouch..." the scorpion wheezed weakly to Garran when she saw him near. "Help me...." she pleaded. There was a pouch she had on her side, and it did have bandages. "I'm bleeding... Put pressure... Stop bleeding... T-then bandage it..." she tried to tell Garran how to treat her. Though it was clear she lost enough blood to be semi-conscious. There wasn't any such thing as disinfectant in her pouch though... As if she didn't need it.

Upon closer inspection, she was one of the scorpion who had her way with him when Anubis brought him to the scorpion tribe. She was anything but gentle, and not the nicest person in the world considering how cruel she was... Roa wasn't near, and in the chaos, Garran would get away with leaving the scorpion there to die if he so chose.

Walking amongst the crowd, he was pleasantly surprised that he wasn't instantly getting ransacked. It seemed like everyone was too busy recovering from the battle, and quite understandably so, it looked like they had been decimated. As he knelt in front of the woman, he began to search her bag for the supplies, pulling out the necessary equipment. He quickly made sure to do the basics correctly, doing his best to clean the wound of excess blood with a bit of the cloth bandages. He continued to press and put pressure until the bleeding began to stop. He gently lifted her body, making sure not to move it too much as he quickly looped the bandage about her body, before letting her back down and tying the bandage in a tight knot.
There, that should supply sufficient pressure if she starts bleeding again. But she didn't have any antiseptic, she could get an infection. Damnit!! The scorpion folded her arms, but didn't seem upset that he called the pharaoh a bitch. "They likely just plan on absorbing all of the energy she acquired from you, before sealing her back inside one of those pyramids and then likely coming back for you." the scorpion woman replied honestly. "In your situation, you might as well fall under the care of someone, Anubis or not. Else, that day when you were given to us will be every waking moment of the rest of your life."

"If she wasn't making any noise, she was likely assumed to be dead." Roa replied. "Now, we've talked about the plan, and it's fairly simple. All you need to know, Garran, is that we're going to attempt to trade you for Anubis. The rest of the plan, I think it's better off if you remain ignorant to. Garrett gave a nonchalant shrug, but nodded at Roa's idea.
"Figured as much. It seems simple enough, I just shut up and remain the bargaining chip while you two sort things out. Not much I could do to object anyhow. Besides, ignorance is bliss."
Oddly enough, he felt a little bit eager to comply. If that was all it took to make both sides happy and quit squabbling and killing each other, then he was all for it. While he did want to help both sides out, a part of him selfishly just wanted to get away from where he had spent almost his entire life ever since stepping onto the island.

He glanced outside of the cave, gazing out into the sandy dunes.

Roa laughed at Garran's words about the war. "How naive." she chided Garran, but said nothing else on the matter. He plopped on the bed, not even bothering to get comfortable or make sure there wasn't any stray rocks or sand on it. The sooner he went to bed, the sooner he'd wake up and get this done.
