I have to admit that was pretty damned funny. Also, thanks to that show I now know who the berserker is in Extra's week 4!
Though I have to wonder, was lancer that unpopular? However hilarious it was he was killed an awful lot.

Re: Nanie's Type-Moon Thread

It's an "In" joke in that Lancer always died in all the routes but ALWAYS from things other than the main characters (Gil in Fate, Kotomine in UBW and T. Assassin in HF). So he's basically the "Nice guy down on his luck" archetype.

Yeah, if you think about it, that war just shits on Lancer repeatedly. He's a pretty cool guy, but the first thing that happens to the poor guy is
his master (whom I think is actually a descendant of his) gets (mostly)murdered and has her command seals stolen. Kotomine repeatedly orders him to do things he finds distasteful, or on some occasions straight up evil. Then, as Nanaya said, he dies. In every route. In UBW he's even ordered with a command seal to kill himself. Talk about down on your luck...

Re: Nanie's Type-Moon Thread

Hm, watching this made me want to play Fate/ Stay Night again, anyone have a link or torrent to an english trans'd version? I really want to hit up Rin again lmao.
Edit: btw yes I tried to look for it myself, in fact, I went to NyaaTorrent, you know, that place with that stuff, I even found a torrent, but it didn't work for me for some reason, the disk 3 is corrupted I think, so that's why I am here asking my kind forum members for help and guildance.

I'm not normally for such things but I too would love to get a hold of a good DL/torrent of FSN. I've never played the game. only watched the movie and anime series.

Re: Nanie's Type-Moon Thread

Fate/Zero is definitely worth your while. The heroes are definitely more extraordinary. There's even a few familiar faces you might recognize from fate/stay night. It has been cool seeing some of the events that put FSN into motion.

yes, yes you do lol.
like there was any doubt but I've been loving FSN. been playing it like an actual novel so I usually play it for an hour or two before I go to sleep. looks like I'm on the fate arc though from what I've seen. was hoping I had chosen to see heaven's feel since I watched the FSN anime and the UBW movie. Ah well

Re: Nanie's Type-Moon Thread

You can't do HF until you've played through Fate, then played through UBW. =(

Re: Nanie's Type-Moon Thread

Oh! I thought maybe the different arcs were dependant on the choices you make. That makes things easier then

Re: Nanie's Type-Moon Thread

I was playing for UBW, because I love all the things you can get Rin to say and Lancer was such a bro in that one.
And Archer, always asskicking.
I never liked HF's storyline and I never got indepth for it.
I also never got into much other Fate stuff, maybe this is my chance to get into it huh?
Anyone want to give me a recap for most Fate stuff and the order I should try and play/read them in?
