Well he has been online, so my only guess is that he wasn't quite as prepared as he thought he was. Happens to me all the time.

Once I was on a deadline and I accidentally saved everything in the wrong format. Had to start from scratch.

It may take a bit but I have no doubt that he will deliver.

Well i guess i'll be first then ok...
I think it's too big 25% less will be perfect,also.... more practice you got a cool unique style I think outlining black is ok definitely for a first project also.
Thin the edges and do a cleanup(one umiform line) and it'll look better, instead of editing your drawing i made a new example.
Don't give up i look forward too seeing more.

i know its big. i will crop it down once i have all here sprites done. and i guess i will edit more too.

to think, i will have to do this to every sprite..... T^T

quick question, im working on enemies now, but should i edit Tina's sprite. like make it so that when she is standing still she is moving a lil, not just standing still, or should i leave her be and do that in the next game.

i knw the tentacles willl be moving and i saved all(hopefully) the descriptions of the tentacles.

Yes animate the stand still,it dosen't have to be anything spectacular.Well also you should probably polish your sprite a little before moving on(you don't have to listen to me AngelKara is your boss), basically the more you articulate your sprite frame by frame the less frames you have too make,standing still sprite is the least of your worries right now but the running or walking(for tentacle tan) is whats very time consuming.Unless I'm understanding this all wrong and you are just making concepts.(unless animations are concepts too?)

Hmm... Yeah just a little idle animation makes it seem more real... People don't stand perfectly still without a reason.

Basically if she just swayed back and forth it'd be good enough it just adds a little effect and makes the game world seem more alive and less static.

just wanted to pop in to let ya know im stil working. i figured sinc she wil be moving insteand of staying stationary, i would have to draw her cloths sprite over (since i drew clothes last, would make sense to finish all her motion sprites first, then add cloths later)

also, ppl said and i noticed that i drew her hips and legs too thick so that was edited too. im making little progress everyday, but its not much. and i feel like a jerk for making you wait.

but question

im mapping out all of her motions. when she attacks with her sword, i was thinking of 4 strikes,
1st -(she is right handed) cross slash from upper left corner to downward right hand corner

2nd opposide crosh slash downware (forming an 'x' now)

3rd upward slash

4th horizontal slash that will rool into her normal stance

so.... \ / | ---

that is how her slashes should look. is this fine.
