Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Glenn oofed aloud as the mystical force gripped him and forced him back to the bed, and then again when the sea bishop was on him in short order. Her hands grasping his wrists and holding him down with some kind of supernatural power. Red veins running up her arms and seaming to pulse with energy matching her rage. Despite his anger he felt his own pain at seeing Aurine's tears, somewhat lessened just by how outrageous her comments tended to be. And by the fact that she was squeezing his wrists so hard now they were beginning to sting. He closed an eye when she licked his face and then shivered when it reached his ear. Discomfort settling in for an act he might otherwise would have enjoyed under different circumstances.

Any preconception of soothing her out of it went out the window when he saw the grin she gave him, setting him out as hers from the start and making her intention to teaching him better known. He still had a cover of blue haze in his vision but it didn't block the sight much, nor the sight of her undoing her top and letting her giant orbs bounce free to squish against him. He couldn't block the first few kisses when she suddenly lunged forth, but he had turned his head to the side to gasp as she continued to prey upon whatever flesh was open to peck at. Or grind through to, as her body pressed against his own and smoothed out against, the man feeling the caress of scales through his shirt and trousers as they rubbed against him. Drawing excitement out of him as a natural reflex.

Then she began to settle down. Her grip loosened around his hands and she pool back for a moment revealing her sad eyes that spoke of need. Though she still was out of it as she revealed with her words once more. After laying there for a while and letting it all sink in, Glenn let out a big sigh before putting his hands around the back of her head, lifting her away from his shoulder to look at him. "You did good to getting my plane out of the sea. How you did it was your choice, and your choice alone. And I do like the help you've given me so far. But don't ever... EVER... think my life is anything but my own. I gave myself my life after three others were ruined a long time ago..."

He brought one his hands out from behind her head and patted the side of her face and cheek lightly then, still looking at her with narrow eyes. And then he pulled her close to him, brushing past her face as he put put his lips to her ear. "Aurine... go to sleep." He whispered then, before summoning as much magic as he could tether within him to burst straight into the sea bishop's head. Not to harm, he had little chance to do that to her he imagined. Rather he took an example out of the Crow's book and summoned the same type of sleep magic as he remembered her using on him and channeled it forth. Pumping Aurine's skull full of enough of it to knock her out for a few hours at least and back into sound grounds again.

When she had finally relaxed and gone under the spell's effects, the man laid under her limp form feeling tormented. Both from using magic while running essentially on vapors, and from Aurine's craziness. It was certainly enough now to reconsider having her around at all now, that was for sure. With how hostile she regarded the others, he genuinely feared for their safety now. He wiggled himself out from under her and dressed himself silently then, not having to fear from Aurine now that she was asleep. Though when he moved to put on his jacket he stopped himself, regarding her a moment in contemplation before shaking his head, and decided to cover her with it as a blanket and as something to hug. Maybe his scent would placate her while she slept somehow? Who knew.

He shut the door behind him gently as he made his way out of the bedroom and into the house proper. "Ugh... this is not how I expected the morning to start..." He grumbled, looking around and trying his best to repress the urge to be dizzy or sick. "Duvain? Please tell me this island knows what asprin is. Or ManuCotin." He called out, hoping the elf was in at the moment. Though if she wasn't it wouldn't stop him from peeking in her cabinets briefly for the chance of finding some kind of medicine for his growing headache. He hoped Sona was still in as well. It'd make it easier to check up on her if she was. He wasn't exactly sure what happened last night besides her going a little crazy on the energy she drained from him. 'I'll have to tell her to be careful next time, my reserves aren't nearly what they used to be...' He thought to himself, rubbing his temple as he searched out for her and the other's whereabouts.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Aurine, her defenses weakened from his gentle approach, let out a bit of surprise at feeling his magic. Rather than act against it, he'd merely feel her embrace him as she fell asleep. "Everything for you..." She murmured, before passing out.

Once he slipped out and walked into the main room from the bedroom, Duvain was sitting on her chair in the kitchen, one arm propped against the table and her head leaning against her fist. Sona was there too, in the living room not too far away, on the couch with her hands in her lap, looking at the floor as if disturbed by something. Otherwise, she seemed completely unharmed. "If it's relief for a headache you desire, share with me what I'm drinking." She directed a hand loosely at a teapot at the table, before sipping her own cup of tea. "It works." She assured him. "Alright... So the fact that your girlfriend's mind lurks within realms of insanity unknown by mortals is a shocking one indeed. Thankfully she has said nothing to be, but tis not a pleasant thing to hear in my house, you understand?" she inquired. "Glenn," Duvain began. "I want you to listen to me. You handled the situation in the bedroom well." She said, and if he wondered how she knew, she'd explain that he was literally about 15 feet away, with only shabby wooden walls between them and gaps thereof for sounds to escape. That and she's an elf with superior hearing over humans. "However, you're involved with an extremely dangerous woman. And given what I heard her shouting about in her state of perpetual madness, she's apparently a criminal to Atlantis, the place she is supposed to be faithful to, but that's just my speculation. I do not know how else to explain these 'issues' she had to suffer to aid you. But if I had to guess, it's the fact that recent rumors say Atlantis has decreed to never associate with human beings for any reason. So, she's been doing what she should not have been since the day she met you."

Duvain then looked at Glenn, examining him. "Do your wrists hurt?" She inquired, and if Glenn gave the affirmative then she'd reach forward and release magic, soothing the pain. "This is not a safe world for men, Glenn. If you think someone like Aurine is an odd one out of the bunch, you'd only be half right. She still hasn't committed genocide yet." she chuckled with a bit of dark humor. "But, I understand, Glenn. I know that you must feel frustrated, or even scared." She declared, before putting her hand upon his own. "I can help protect you, Glenn, if you wish it." she swore to him, looking like a stoic knight offering their aid to someone in need. "Elder spirits know, you could use someone who isn't screaming at you." She offered with a small smile.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

The man found Duvain and Sona quickly enough, thankful for not having to go looking for them unlike the others he imagined. And Sona appeared to be alright. Deep in thought but otherwise okay. When offered the tea for his headache Glenn was skeptical until he sat down and handled it, the warm liquid doing much to soothe not only his stomach but his aching head. He audibly sighed in relief at how quickly it seemed to come too, though he did wonder if just being out of that room and able to relax wasn't it's own medicine. "Yeah... sorry about that. If it's any consolation I wasn't expecting her to be THIS crazy too..." He replied, sweating under the discomfort the antics had brought his host in her own home.

When talks of Aurine being a criminal came up Glenn tilted his head towards the elf. "I've read those entries in that book you know. So you're telling me that out of everything that old revision got wrong, the whole neutrality and distance towards man was actually spot on. Well that's just peachy." It would certainly explain why Aurine had acted the way she did when they first met. Nothing bad had actually happened to her home; she was simply burning bridges to return to it safely by choosing him over it. "She did mention having no home to return to when we first met. It makes sense now when you put it that way. It would have made a lot more sense if she had just told me about it in the first place." He commented, throwing his hands up in frustration.

Asked about his wrists he gave a quick nod. "It's nothing I haven't felt before, but yeah..." He thanked him when she applied some soothing magic into them enjoying the relief even as Duvain's dark humor made his own hopes fall somewhat. He did feel frustrated and scared. There were things beyond he'd rather worry about than the thought of one of his comrades going stark raving mad causing a scene. Aurine was a threat to everyone the way she was, and if it kept up sooner or later she'd REALLY become a criminal. And he wasn't going to like having to settle that himself. The elf's touch drew his attention to his bare hands, absent of gloves since he hadn't yet donned them. They were quite soft he realized and the simpleness felt rather nice.

Looking back at her after she made her offer he turned his vision down and away from her. Curling his lips in thought. "Bellasaur knows this hatchling could use flames that warm, heal, and provide light, instead of turning everything to cinders. Elfkin, I'll gladly take any help you can give. Like I've said once, twice even, I'm out of my element here. If I'm gonna survive and make something for myself I've got to learn somewhere. And have a safe place to do it. That's a reason I'm in this town after all. And why getting that fuselage back to town sooner rather than later is a good idea. It'll make a great starting point to helping my situation, and uh... giving back to the town of course..."

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Duvain giggled. "Helping your situation? If you're speaking of the craft you used to come here, you're foolish to think it able to get you out." she stated. "This land is under a magical enchantment that both angels and devils came to a wordless agreement upon. It lets people, such as more men, onto our shores, and does not let them leave. Ships are destroyed, and even through flight, any bird of flesh or machine is brought down. You're trapped here, Glenn." she stated. "Though you're still well on your way to earning a place to stay with your go-to attitude, so I'd suggest you don't squander the opportunity." she suggested with a giggle.

Sona then suddenly gave a start, looking to the window, before walking up to it. If Glenn looked as well, he'd see a dozen black dots in the sky all flying towards the beach, to the South-East. "Is that the Magi?" Sona inquired.

Duvain rushed over, looking out of the window as well. "Glenn, would you happen to know where they're going?" she inquired, though the answer would be a simple yes or no depending on where he knew his object to be. If it was roughly around where Aurine brought him to the beach...

Yes, he definitely knew where they were going.

"If they're heading for your ship, then they're no doubt going to scavenge the technology and all of the scrap." Duvain announced. "We should head to your ship right now, I'd suggest." she said, going into her room, and soon coming out with a longsword and scabbard, getting it over her torso and tightening the strap as it went neatly between her breasts. "You can never be too cautious around the Magi." she said with a wari tone, while Aya and Sona stood confused. If Glenn said nothing, he'd be going alone with Duvain.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

"No not that, I hadn't planned of it." He dismissed the elf, her words a repetition to the man. "Aurine spoke of a barrier when I first arrived, and how things got sucked in here. It sounded a lot more logical back then so soon after the crash." He rubbed at his head, embarrassment reaching him as he remembered how out of it smacking into the water at such a speed and not dying had made him. He was almost surprised he had the head to get out of the damn plane at the time. "I mean mostly of the equipment on that wreck. Having it would make me much better off than having to scavenge and and start off from scratch. And the plane itself is a nice haul too."

Glenn gazed over toward where Sona sat when she gave her start, her vision interested in something outside. On reflex he glanced in the direction looking at the birds floating outside. That is until he realized they were moving far slower than normal birds, and were much further away. "Magi? Those people who use magical tech?" He inquired as he watched the dots slowly moving as they were. He narrowed his eyes. If he didn't know any better it looked as if they were heading back the way all of them had come from roughly. There hadn't been anything that way but rough forest, that one very circular lake Aurine pointed him towards and... the coast and beach he landed on.

"They're heading toward the coast. Somewhere around where I first landed on this island. If it's the wreak they're going after that shouldn't be possible... unless..." He pondered for a moment before smacking himself. Grabbing his face and raking his hand down. "Distress beacon. Every vessel has one. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a bunch of people using technology would catch a SOS signal coming from the coast. Here I was hoping it had been broken during the crash. That's certainly not the case now." The man rose from his seat quickly then, nodding toward Duvain in agreement. While he had hoped for the leisure of a timely pace if they didn't move quickly now that wreak would slip quickly from his fingers, and Aurine's as well.

He cursed the development under his breath as he traveled back to his own room, finding most of his own equipment resting inside of it. With reluctance, he took back his jacket off of the sleeping sea bishop and donned it in short order, fastening his own weapons and bags to him. Taking but a moment to cover her with a spare light blanket it before returning back to the main room of the house. "Sona. I hate to say this but I might need that power you took from me back. First though, go to the centaur chief in town and tell them I need a bunch of wagons sent to the beach in the south-east. And to bring some folk if they can spare it. Then get back to me as soon as possible. Aya. Claws and teeth are a good measure against men right? Follow us, but don't go crazy unless we need to." He asked of them, before setting in steps with Duvain and leaving the home.

Had he the chance, he'd flag down any nearby elves or centaurs who they happened to pass, asking them to come along. "It's short notice I apologize, but there are folk trying to steal away with something for the town at the south-east beach. Come along if you're able, and ask others the same!" He'd mention before trotting off along with Duvain and Aya, hoping for Sona's quick return and to stop these Magi from simply taking the wreak from the beach.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

"The very same people." Duvain nodded at his question about the Magi and who they were. Indeed, they were those who practiced with magical tech. Though his bit about SOS made her shrug. "They're always on the lookout for technology from the outside world. If you were in a skyboat, no doubt they'd have sentries that'd been looking for various things either from the sky or sea." she replied.

As Glenn spoke to Sona, she cocked her head to the side. "Power? You mean your energy? It's too late, I already digested it all." she said simply. "Sorry..." she said, her head slightly lowered as she adopted a guilty expression. "I'll go ahead and ask for some help though!" she said, quickly heading out of the house while the requested Aya gave a happy mewl and grabbed Glenn just to lick his cheek. "Yay! I'll cut up anyone who tries to take mah man!" she declared.

Walking out into the town, Glenn started to call for help. But by the large, most of the passing citizens just kept walking while staring in his direction due to the outcry. Most looked busy, and had the attitude that surely someone else will help. Most but one, that is, as an with long flowing blond hair and a spear complete with a shield in her off-hand came trotting forth, looking very militant. "What's all this about!?" she inquired insistently towards Glenn, allowing him to repeat himself. "I'll go. I won't allow chaos to be sown after that demonic attack. I won't allow my pride to be soiled twice." She said, half-believing Glenn due to her own eyes fixing on the figures in the sky landing. "Magi..." she sneered. "I'll run them down with my spear!"

"Please, wait!" Duvain urged the centauress. "Don't rush ahead of us, and please don't rush into battle even with us! The last thing we want is any one of us dying if possible."

The centaur militant growled. "Then the last thing we should want is a man there as well!" she countered, before pointing her spear at Glenn. "You, stay in the back! If it's your things they want then you can come, but don't foolishly get in my way, boy! A battlefield is no place for a 'male'!" she declared, before trotting ahead, forcing Duvain to follow at a brisk jog while Aya hissed quietly at the centaur, apparently not fond of the horse.

Should Glenn naturally follow, he'd be a bit winded after the experience due to Sona draining him last night after jogging just for a few minutes. Arriving at the scene, he'd spot several individuals dressed in military suits and equipped with odd weapons that seemed fully loaded with magic. A more savvy individual would call them weave launchers, or quite simply "Magi Guns". Though there was one among them who didn't seem equipped with standard attire. In fact, she looked to be fit for a more intellectual job. Dressed in a skirt and wearing glasses, a certain beauty stood before Glenn's ruined and rusting vessel.

(Inspirational Music used: )

"Excuse me, but we mean you no harm unless you seek to interfere." The glasses wearing woman notified the approaching group. "I am Isabell Queen, the new leader of the Magi. I humbly request that you leave and allow us to secure this ruined vessel for us to salvage for the sake of knowledge and the advancement of it. Tis for a noble cause, you see. That of killing angels." she declared. Her announcement left everyone so shocked that Glenn was completely open to take the floor if he wished.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Despite the Centaur's brash insistence on being first to a fight should there be one Glenn was happy to have at least one other tag along with them. Even if she made him frown with annoyance at her attitude about him being there. And the fact that she blatantly pointed a spear straight at him before trotting forward. 'For her own sake her bite better be greater than her bark. And that she doesn't underestimate things on a battlefield. It doesn't matter who it is, everyone can be dangerous.' The man joined with Duvain in her brisk jog as they followed behind, one hand always kept on the hilt of one of his weapons in case he needed to draw it before they got to the beach.

The journey there was not without it's impact on the man. He might not have been as well off as he had years ago, but he certainly shouldn't have been so winded after only such a pace. He kept himself well enough that the blue dizziness didn't overtake him like when he first woke up, but man did it still leave him out of sorts. In the future he had to look into ways to get his strength back a lot faster. This certainly wouldn't do well for himself to be empty like this. When they arrived on the scene several armed personnel were mulling about. Soldiers it appeared, who were armed with swords and... Bolters? If he had any money to bet they certainly were arcane energy launchers of some kind, and that did not inspire confidence in the man with barely any energy to steel himself with.

There was another among them who was not so armed, whose allure was not lost on the man as the approached the glasses wearing beauty and her group of soldiers, the aeroplane wreak only shortly behind them. Her announcing herself as the leader of this Magi group surprised the man, eyes widening slightly before narrowing and glancing about counting the soldiers. Surely a leader wouldn't come with only so few people to protect them? "I'm afraid that won't be possible miss Queen. As the last surviving member of that vessel's expedition, I cannot allow for anyone to desecrate it. I am by all accounts, that vessel's expedition leader now." Stepping forward, he regarded the purple haired beauty with slight distraction with how entrancing her green eyes were behind her glasses.

Raising his hand, he turned it up palm forward with all fingers extended. "The fallen bodies of five men are still on board that deserve their burial rights. I intend to see to it that they get them. And that the vessel comes with me for my own use, and for helping the people of Waymeet. Perhaps I could even retrofit and repurpose it for local flight again someday. Who knows." The man said with a shrug, blinking away more dizzy dots appearing in front of him as a few drops of sweat trickled down his brow and cheek. "So I guess that leaves us at this impasse. If it's just the knowledge you want then perhaps there is a way we can help each other. How might the vessel end up in Waymeet and you with knowledge taken from it I wonder?" He asked, once more looking at people around him while letting a had rest on the hilt of a sword. Hoping that his allies were ready for a fight in case one broke out, and that he'd even be able to draw his sword let alone use it with how drained he still felt.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

It was when Glenn first approached, that he noticed the displeasure on Queen's face, who knew that this man was going to oppose her want to perform such desecration. However, it was his words that followed that turned her frown into a very satisfied smile. She rose her left arm, putting her hand to her chin while her right hand went along her belly and supported her left elbow in her palm, taking a very interested stance towards him while Duvain gave a worried look in Glenn's direction. "Oh my, how rude of me. My apologies dear sir, I didn't know that you had personal attachments to this vessel. Or that you were even one amongst it's crew! How rude of me indeed!" she declared, but hardly looked like she was reflecting on her actions while her eyes squinted from her crescent grin. He only seemed to make her happier the more he spoke, offering that they work together. "My dear boy, you are so radiant with charisma!" She complimented him. "I am convinced. I will gladly work together with you. In fact, this relationship will surely be more beneficial to you than to me. I offer my assistance in any repairs this device may need. Free of charge, I'll fix it up myself. You have my word as Head Scientist Queen that you will be satisfied." she promises, giving Glenn a slight bow.

"Now... I do ask for something in return, just as you offer. If it's possible... I'd like to return to my facility with your ship to make repairs proper. You'll be satisfied with all the materials we have on hand I'm sure. In addition... I'd like to abduct you as well." she said, before waving her left hand in front of her face. "Perhaps abduct isn't the proper word... I'd like to 'escort' you to my lab, if you'd be so kind as to allow me? I have many questions, and no doubt so do you~" she cooed.

"Ladies." Queen declared, snapping her fingers with authority. "Help my new acquaintance with whatever he needs. What was your name again? I don't recall you mentioning it." she asked Glenn, while the squad of attractive armored women approached Glenn, all inquiring, "What can we help you with, sir?" simultaneously, showing how well trained they were to follow orders.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Well this was certainly something. Rather than become hostile about the whole ordeal, this Queen character quickly changed her mood around once he had said his piece. Becoming very amiable and offering her full assistance at his own offering. He relaxed, though he did notice Duvain's look of worry as she glanced his way. He couldn't say he didn't agree with her sentiments. He had fully expected there to be a fight, or some kind of unpleasantness concerning this group. He was still expecting it really. He kept the thoughts buried under the surface however. Which was easy given how Isabell's compliment and cheerfulness brought a tickling feel of a glow to his face.

"Abduct?" The man asked with a questioning look, not liking that she choose that word out of all the others she could have. It reeked of an ulterior motive. Still, Glenn kept calm and leveled with the woman. "Taking this wreak elsewhere for repairs or going elsewhere will have to wait until after I've time to go through it and offload some things back in Waymeet. I've already requested a bunch of wagons and help from town to help bring it there. With any luck they're be arriving shortly, though you might have to excuse them if they hold ill of you. The name is Glenn by the way miss Queen." The man answered to her question after a delay, giving the woman a polite bow of his own.

Upon the approach of the squad of soldiers Glenn felt a sense of nostalgia run through him at the sound of their synchronized speaking, popping a small smile at the edge of his lips. "Keep a lookout for anyone coming from the direction of Waymeet. There should be some people coming with wagons. Welcome them without hostility. They probably will be tense from the last moment summons I asked of them. Otherwise just keep on the lookout for anyone approaching here in general. I've... uh... been on this island long enough to know... if you understand what I mean..." Glenn trailed off, scratching the back of his head before giving them a salute and then motioning Duvain and the centaur knight to follow him closer to the wreak.

The thing had certainly seen better days. It was apparent straight from the get go that the thing had crashed hard into the ocean. The whole front was dented and mangled from the impact, and already sea corrosion was doing a great deal of hurt to it. Seeing all the damage made the man's neck and body start to hurt once again, and he rubbed the back of his neck deeply. "Hello old friend. You're a lot more cruddy and flaky than I remember you being. It's a shame the rest of you is still on the seafloor somewhere. I'd have loved to strangled those two engines with my bare hands." He spat with anger as he looked at where two wings used to be, and where six men once worked together a time ago. Him, the captain, his co-pilot, a radio man, that gruff mechanic and... Renault.

Glenn's eye twitched. "One of the people on this vessel with me was a friend of mine. Who always tends to not be dead when he really should be, and show up sometime later. If there are only four bodies when we open this thing up, and not a red haired, moustached and big eared buffoon among them... I'm gonna lose it."

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

"Do they not have last names where you come from, Glenn?" Isabell inquired with a raised brow. "And that's fine. I hope you won't mind though, if I get a good look at all the materials you're fetching? I'd hate to see something interesting slip by my gaze. To me that's the worst crime one can commit, is missing something valuable. Don't worry, I'll steal nothing. I just want to know what your cargo is. Surely, you can humor me?" she inquired, her tone oppressive and insistent. Just like when she made her first introductions, she spoke politely, but had a ruthless aura of desire to get what she wanted. With that, she stuck to him almost like glue. As he went to go check on his ship, Queen was right behind him, almost over his shoulder. Stopping short for any reason, she was close enough to feel her breasts pancake against his back due to her proximity and lack of reaction time.

While the armored soldiers fanned out and began keeping an eye out for wagons, the rest of Glenn's group seemed content to just watch and see how things played out. "Engines, hum? Are they not present on the ship? What an absolute shame." Queen clicked her tongue. "Probably lost as you went through the barrier that surrounds this island. If they fell off first, causing your fall, then there's no telling where they ended up now. How awful. I feel for you, I truly do." Queen said sympathetically, though she made it sound like she also suffered a great loss.

Though when Glenn went to inspect further, looking for corpses, both he and Queen would note that there wasn't a single body inside the vessel. Every corpse that was there when Glenn left it was no longer there. "Looks like someone stole off with the bodies. Fancy that." Queen declared, as if mostly uninterested. "Now," Isabell began, walking ahead of Glenn to inspect the insides of the ship. "Certainly, this looks quite primitive. There are no access points for one to insert their mana. What did this thing run on? Hard fuel?" She inquired. "Limited, heavy, and a hassle to acquire. Such inefficient methods of powering technology long abandoned. I almost had you figured for a Magi from overseas, but this concludes the opposite." she giggled, looking around the ship on her own accord, shifting through and fishing around for what supplies still laid inside as she bent over to search storage crates and the like. Perhaps rude she was, while also bending over in such a way that her dress was pulled down by gravity and compressed against her skin, showing the shape of her curvy and finely crafted back, all the way down to the attractive heart shaped rump of the scientist. A different shape than Cynthia's, perhaps due to this woman's tendency to stand over Cynthia's habit of sitting down.

Only after she already began picking through his ship and examining it did she turn an eye back to look at him. "Do you mind if I poke around?" she inquired with a grin, while moving as if she was going to keep doing it even if he said he did mind.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Glenn grew a little hot under the collar at Isabell's raised brow and question, a little embarrassment leaking through. "Ah... sorry. It's Doppler. Glenn Doppler." He corrected quickly, before nodding at her desire to take a look as he rummaged. He didn't expect her to stick so close to him though. She was so close to him he half expected her to feel her smush completely into his back and simply wrap her arms around him. Force him to do all the walking for the both of them. He'd chuckle at the thought normally but when he visualized it in his mind it looked much more... deceptive than what he intended it to be. Almost as if that oppressive aura was leaking into his brain along with that crescent smile and the implications of what her tactile touches could mean.

"I swear I never had thoughts like this as frequently before. I need to start meditating again..." Glenn swung the door to the wreak open expecting to find the corpses of the crew relatively where they had fallen. Instead he was surprised to find them missing, though it did give him relief about Renault then. He had to be dead this time, no doubt about it. Isabell's comment about corpse robbing caused the man to bah with distaste at the possible revelation, before he regarded her proper. "Oh it runs on mana... well liquid manarol... but the main access port is located on the belly of the ship, so it's currently buried under sand. Don't feel too bad about the wing engines. The damn things were throwaways, pyrite; I'd have smashed them with a hammer myself if I could. The real gold is right under one of the compartments. Engine 3. Power generator."

Queen's shapely figure and heart shaped rump left the man distracted enough to forgive her for jumping ahead with searching the ship. And left the man pondering differences between her's and the bubble butt of Cynthia's he could recall in his mind. He blinked a few times when she inquired with a grin about poking around his ship... after she had already been doing it. "Knock yourself out. Though if you do find any manuals or loose books stack them together would you kindly? Duvain, feel free to help if you'd like. There should be some reading material in one of these protected crates. You can take post and relax miss Centaur. I'd feel bad asking you squeeze into here just to move a few crates." He explained politely.

Entering the plane, Glenn made his way back to the rear of the ship, to a series of locked storage doors. Which after reaching into a pocket and retrieving a couple of keys he unlocked, opening them and prying the more stubborn ones open with the broken sword handle that Cynthia had given him. Inside were more loose crates, which he pulled out into the open one by one. Several of them were individually named. Including one of his own. Personal effects of each crewmate; spare clothing and the like. One crate bore the white cross and green backing of a first aid supply box, which he popped open and grinned like a dofus when he saw the supplies. Another bore a symbol of a star and simply said 'Military Rations' in white lettering, while another though it had no label Glenn recalled it being filled with books and spare magazines regarding a variety of subjects. And one last crate he pulled out was made of a higher quality material than the others that shined and almost looked like shell of some sort. Which was locked in four places. On the side of which was printed on a small label were the words: Science, Alchemy, Magic. Building Safer Realms Through Superior Firepower.

"That thing should be fine... the Society doesn't fool around with their crates." The man thought, eying the crate as Isabell probably would seeing how different it was from the others. His more personal effects were first though, so he slid his own named crate up and open. Everything was like he left it; spare clothing, a few spare blank sheet ring books and writing tools. Little pleasantries for hygiene, shaded glasses, and his good old hat which could have sworn he had left back home. Underneath it all he found the sealed enclosure containing his formal attire, which he opened to inspect. The military garb unmistakable and still in good condition, the marks of a Corporal evident as insignia. Satisfied, he sealed it back up, and then turned his attention to a small box packed alongside the clothing. A box which opened revealed a rather thin and arcane looking glove made of a stretchy material.

Glenn's eyes lit upon seeing it, and he casually removed his left gauntlet and slipped the arcane glove on. Flexing his hand to get the glove to react. A few dots of blue reminded the man of his drained condition, so he wisely decided not to test out how much better his casting would be now with the magic aid for fear of doing something stupid or passing out. "Now with this I do think I'm back in business. At least as soon as I get the well of strength to start working seriously at least. Here, Duvain. This crate has a bunch of stuff to read. Though I fear it might be more of miss Queen's favor. The other mechanic and I brought a bunch of machine reading materials, magazines and manuals. Though there are a few bits of fiction in here too. And some newspapers from a year or so back." He mentioned, while handing her one of them.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Isabell looked back at Glenn with a look of disbelief. "The belly? What an impractical location. How would the pilots fuel it? And the methods of refueling in case of emergencies for that matter! Poor design!" Isabell spat, criticizing the ship. "The more I look at it, the more I'm convinced that things have not changed a bit overseas! We magi are like gods among primates, I'm impressed this thing even managed to fly while trying to match our intellectual creations... Tch, what rubbish." Queen clicked her tongue, digging around further, anything she found that she thought of no use, supplies, papers of no value, were tossed aside for Glenn to try to collect if he cared for it. "You stack them, while I sort through them." she directed Glenn, giving him the manuals and the like that Isabell shifted through and deemed useless.

Duvain stepped forth. "You're being rude." the elf declared.

Isabell didn't spare the elf a glance. "Agreement's been made, permissions given to do as I please." was her simple reply. Duvain just sighed, not looking to start a fight with the snooping scientist Magi. While Duvain was looking through the other reading material, Isabell turned an ear Glenn's direction when he mentioned manarol and went to hand Duvain the flier. As Duvain reached for it, Queen came forth and snatched it from Glenn's hand to read it, skimming over the irrelevant parts to read the lower left section. "Mana crystals, like the soul crystals that grow in Zippangu? Is that what you use to fuel this prehistoric tin can?" she inquired. "How primitive. In order to run on just that, the machine would have to be designed in such a specific way that should one thing go wrong, the whole ship is doomed. No direct control, do you operate this thing using sticks?" Isabell said that, and a whole load of insults towards the technology while praising her own design. Eventually she was shaking her head while Duvain was grumpily trying to ignore Isabell. "Glenn, my dear boy..." Isabell began, before reaching out, and putting her hand to his shoulder. "You haven't even begun to see REAL technology. Magi Technology!" she boasted proudly.

With that, Duvain finally stood up. "Magi technology that only exists because of the crimes they committed against living creatures. They forced a kitsune to use her talent in weaving to power their prototype machines back in the early days of the Magi. All their success can be attributed to treating people like lab rats." Duvain spat.

Isabell cocked her head to the side. "That was then, this is now. And it's thanks to the sacrifices those little creatures made that humanity has access to miracle cures thought impossible. Even the cure for cancer becomes an easy thing when the most advanced techniques of manipulating the threads of existence become known to you. For every ill deed you label us with, I can list ten things we've done to better this world. Without barriers on morality, the few can suffer so the many can prosper." She declared, while Duvain hardly looked sold. "By the by... Glenn, I've not seen much in the ways of supplies to better your people. If this is some attempt by you to trick me, I'll have you know that you'll be picking the wrong woman to trifle with."

"We ought to kick a lunatic like you to the curb." Duvain replied sharply, the two women glaring at each other.

"Mmm." Queen hummed dismissively at the elf, before turning to Glenn and noting his glove. Without much warning, she grabbed his arm, examining his glove. It glowed as Glenn felt her examining it with her threads. "Now this is remotely interesting. Did you make this?" she inquired while smoothing her thumb along his palm.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

The more she went on about Magi technology and how superior and so much better it was compared to the tech Glenn was used to dealing with, the more it became apparent that miss Queen was a very proud woman. With a lot of pride towards her more arcane oriented equipment by the way she was describing it. It sounded very much so that she was arcane blind in that sense; unable to even consider anything else real technology should it have even the slightest hint of mundane principles or regulation applied to it. It had to be fully magical. Controlled by focused mind and even powered by it as well. The thought made him think of machines that were effectively skeletons waiting for someone to come along and give them life and purpose, to fuel their functions.

He gave her a glance when she mentioned supplies for his people, chuckling to himself and masking his displeasure at Duvain's prior comments about a kitunse. "That's because I've been the one looking for them. And because they're things that are slung about throughout this vessel you wouldn't be much interested in. Kind of like how this ship is turning out to be eh? And no this thing doesn't run on crystals. It's actually electrical, but it needs an arcane catalytic reaction to generate the power necessary to run it. The main engine is a Direct Current mana pump. With a flow that goes in a continuous circuit throughout it's operation. As the fluid passes through a strand conversion manifold it's converted into power and supplied to the rest of the ship. Regulators prevent any excess from making it's way into the system, while a few discharge chambers nullify any that does. Returning that excess energy back into the fuel mix or powering spare battery packs." He grinned and shook his head, anticipating the next round of proud spitting the Magi woman might get up to after hearing all of that. When she took him by the arm he dropped his grin though, feeling her magic brushing against his glove and making it glow lightly. "This thing? No... though I suppose I could make another if I needed to. Just be a pain is all." He answered, fidgeting under Isabell's grip as she held his and and smoothed her thumb with a thin flush.

He cleared his throat before continuing. "It's a Magister's Glove. It's used to boost and simplify magical weaving or kinetic manipulation talents. This one is designed to use either an external fuel source connected to it by a tube or harness of some sort, or just take fuel direct from a person's natural mana pool. A lot of folks back home have large pools, but no talent. So gloves like this one help very much. In my case though it just helps as an augment. Was supposed to be able to store excess power in it too but it hasn't been able for a long time now." No doubt a circumstance related to the times he had to repair the thing in the past Glenn thought. Many times it had been cut and abused by wear and tear, so much so that he was surprised it even still worked at all. A testament to luck or good craftsmanship surely. "With this glove I'll have a much easier time conjuring pieces I might need, or reworking existing materials into new supplies or just plain fixing impurities. A nice thing since I won't be getting mass produced machine parts out here any time soon." He said as he reached for a few pieces of broken metal with his threads and then effortlessly mended them together back into a rustless panel and sat it down.

"I've actually had to handle a number of devices that use gloves like this one as a security measure. More arcane vessels like your machines by the sounds of things. Flying platforms, mining and transport equipment, analyzers, and a bunch of other tools. All magical code devices, practically no hint of anything else. Sounds like they'd have been up your alley." He said while opening the ration box briefly, lifting up to inspect and sorting a number of the familiar looking things before noticing Aya for the first time since they arrived giving a displeased cat stare at the massive amount of rations. "I promise these ones are different Aya. Some of them actually have real meat in them! And chocolate!"

Closing the box back up, he turned his attention then to the black container that he hadn't opened yet, taking a deep breath. He reached into his pocket once more and fetched another key. Inconspicuously it looked like a simple brass key, but when he placed it into the first lock on the box it appeared to grow a dark purple outline as it fit into place. He turned the locks one by one until all four had turned, and then pressed a panel on the front with a soft click, allowing the thing to spring open slowly from two folding pistons. Revealing a fabric inlet holding a two handed gun made of polished silver metal that had clearly seen better days considering it was broken in three places, and another inlet with a pistol that was in comparatively better and working shape. Both having a number of small cylinders containing dark blue fluid floating in them and radiating magic. Along with a third inlet holding a manual entitled 'Series One Photon Gun/Pistol: Owner Operator Manual' and a glass terminal above it with a number of slits going down one side, and two panels directly below it. One of them labeled Start/Stop, and the other containing a pressable dial labeled Pause/Seek.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Rather than a proud spurt, it was more a bored, "Cool," that came from Isabell as she didn't look too amused by the vessel. "Whenever you're done taking what you need from it, I'd like to take it back to my headquarters, along with you so as to 'probe' you for information." She grinned and rose her hand to flourish her hair off her shoulder and onto her back when she said 'probe'. Though, when he mentioned that the glove was to simplify magical weaving, Isabell seemed ready to collapse from his statement of the glove's purposes. "An elementary student's toy? Come now, Glenn, you're a big boy." She declared, before reaching back, and suddenly four spider-like metal legs emerged from her back looking very thin and coming out from her dress without causing a single tear, as if her clothes were constructed with the purpose of allowing these things to emerge from some compartment under her clothing.

Isabell held out her hand before the four metal spider legs began to work around her hand, starting with her fingers as it seemed to start manifesting a glove out of nowhere until Queen was now wearing a basic, black glove. After that the spider legs began drawing what seemed to be slots or bases for square jewels. One large slot was in her palm, and the rest were on the tips of her fingers. The spider legs then retracted at that while Duvain watched as if Isabell was a freak of nature. Ignorant of this, Isabell simply continued by directing her other hand at the bases her mechanical aids laid out, filling them in with blue crystals that let out a shimmer of power. She then finished the construction by decorating the glove with what almost seemed like wires from the various fingers to the palm. Once that was done, Isabell grinned. "The only kind of aid an experienced weaver would need is one that can weave a spell out under times of stress." She explained. "With a simple gesture of a finger-" she began, curling her pinky finger in with the glove, causing a ball of contained flame to grow in her palm. "-you can quickly perform spells without even thinking about it."

With the ball of flame in her hand, she curled her thumb in, the sole crystal that pressing against the flame, and slowly sucking it in as the wire from the thumb crystal to the base glowed, draining the magic back in until it was gone, safely returned. "Does this interest you?" She inquired with a grin, taking the glove off slowly and handing it to Glenn. "A gift, from me. It's more useful than that glove there, I assure you. This isn't even the icing on the cake of things I can show you. In fact, let me get you excited." She began, before leaning in with an intentful smile. Her face got just a few inches away from his, allowing him to look straight into her sky blue eyes. "Have you ever created a living, thinking construct before? Have you ever managed to give something made with human hands the ability to think critically? To make decisions for themselves that are not based on some directive or pre-coded logic? Or what about... Something that can feel something so complex as happiness and hatred? Something only the gods have accomplished... Until I was born." She declared with utmost pride. "I'll let you see it for yourself. The work of true genius. Until then, I believe I've seen all I wanted to inside this ship until it's within my lab and I can study it further." She folded her arms behind her back, and stood with a straight posture. "You have promise, Glenn. You truly do, and I'm the only one who can unlock your true potential. I look forward to working with you." she said as if everything Glenn had yet to decide on was already decided, before stepping out of the plane, her ass's shape still quite visible through her dress if he cared to appreciate it on her way out to return to her soldiers.

Depending on whether Glenn accepted Isabell's patented glove of quick weaving spells, complete with different spells depending on the posture you make with your fingers, Duvain would either look at the glove, or just as Glenn's face. "Fuck that noise, and fuck her too. I'd heard about the Magi before, and their head scientist, but that level of arrogance is legendary. Just because she makes all the crap the Magi use doesn't mean she gets to act like that." She grumbles, as if wanting to find ways to describe how awful Isabell is. "Don't listen to a damn thing she says to you, Glenn. She's a murderer who has committed countless crimes. She's nothing like you." Duvain declared stoutly.

Meanwhile, Aya was off to the side, boredly staring at Glenn as he mentioned the rations would be worth it. "Liar." She said simply. "I don't smell anything."

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

His eyes popped open much wider than he would have liked when Glenn saw the spider like tendrils of metal appear from Isabel. Instinct told him to reach for a weapon, so that's what his hand aimed to do on it's own accord, resting itself on the hilt of his dagger. He did not draw the thing however, opting instead to transfix himself on the process that was occurring before him. His eyes looked on as the metal legs worked themselves around the Magi's hand and formed the basis of a black glove, then refined it further with insets for stone before the legs retracted. The weaving was only done when Isabel crafted shimmering blue stones to fill those insets, as well as a trim of wire like threading all about the glove.

It was an impressive display of arcane craftmaking and enchanting, and it's power was clearly displayed when she weaved a spell thoughtlessly with but a bending of a finger, and then unweaved it with her thumb. He hadn't anything currently on him of a similar nature, so when she offered it to him as a gift he was taken a little by surprise. And then surprised again right after when he had accepted the glove, letting his eyes glance at the fabric in observation when she leaned in with a smile. Rather far in fact, enough that her face was now but a few inches away from his own. Her breath hot on his face as where her eyes though they were blue as the sky.

His interest was indeed piqued when she mentioned thinking constructs. There were whole courses, magical or otherwise, on golem and robotics creation back home. But he had never gotten around to actually making one. A few decoy drones and the like, but never anything so much as a full golem. At least one for himself that was. It was always easier to just buy one if it was necessary. Or hire one. He was genuinely curious to see what arcane genius she had worked up as a construct. He had to remind himself though, that she was not necessarily his friend or ally, feeling equally as suspicious about what hidden triggers might have been weaved into the glove as much as Isabel's own hidden motives for getting him back to be 'probed' as she said.

Glenn released a pent up sigh when the Magi woman made her exit, shaking his face of the blush that wound up on it from her lean and her leaving. The shape of her ass infecting his mind more than he would have liked. He Listened to Duvain as she said her rather course words on how she felt of Isabel, now that she was able. Letting his fingers feel out the material of the glove better while doing so, still suspicious of what might be hidden in it. She soon mentioned the difference between him and Isabel with stout voice. A quick twisted lip and a glance was what he gave her way at that. If she only knew some of the things he had done while he worked as a mercenary all those years ago. He had always tried to only kill when he needed too, but statistics were a nasty thing to fight against...

Giving the glove one more rub between his fingers, he gripped it while holding it up. Looking at it with a calculated look and wry grin. "She's got quite the tunnel vision for the arcane doesn't she. Seems to me as if the Magi like putting their eggs all in one basket. My people see the beauty in all designs of machinery, and and if the rest of these Magi are like her they would probably turn their nose up at something a simple as a grinding mill made of stone." He chuckled, shaking his head and looking at the glove again. "You know what's funny? You can buy gloves similar to this one on nearly every corner magic item store in Charlon. Even runecaster items; that's special staves, wands, clothing or the like that can have enchanted runes copied out of a magic book of magic weaves tied to runeprint, and inset them into slots on those items to let you cast all manner of spells. All without having a lick of weaving experience. I kind of wish I brought my runecaster staff with me now. Wouldn't have to worry about any strange enchantments that might be hidden in that thing." He said while stuffing the gifted glove into a side bag to mess with later.

"You notice she's insistent on taking this thing back to their base too." He mentioned while unlocking the weapon case Isabel hadn't stuck around to see unlocked, frowning at the broken gun while giving the pistol a quick inspection. "I don't like the idea of traveling further inland to god knows where. And being surrounded in their base, even as a guest? I don't like those odds if things go wrong." He groaned with frustration as he raked his face with a hand. "All I wanted to do was get this thing out of the water and take it back to Waymeet. Salvage a few things, forge a some gifts for the people, maybe start improving the structure and layout of the town. Get back into machine work again. So far all it's netted me is a crazy fish and now this."

The man's thoughts churned as he considered what to do. His face wrinkled and still as he took a seat on one of the crates. If he went with these Magi there was sure to be all manner of magical machinery to ponder. But at the risk of possibly being trapped there. He remembered the way Isabel had rolled 'probe' off her tongue, and it wasn't encouraging. If everything went well... he'd have a lot more local arcane machine knowledge to draw from though. Which he could then use to help the people of the town with. Barring some changes of his own design. He'd have to sacrifice some time but it might be worth it in the end.

He found it difficult to speak, but after a few moments more he turned to Duvain, his decision hinted at. "If I leave the supplies with you, will you look after them? I hate to impose this considering you sheltered us for the night, but if I leave them out or take them with me they'll probably get lost. Like I said before, there's plenty of books and magazines to read among that stuff, and the rations..." He pointed out, before giving Aya a quick look. "Don't mind her comments. I can assure you that most... most... of the meals in that thing actually are good. Just stay away from any that say things like Loaf or Reprocessed. And try to save any that have gold trim. Those are the deluxe packages, which usually come with some nice deserts. Well... maybe crack one open for Aya so she can see the difference."

He stood himself up then and dusted off. "When Sona gets here I'll take her with me. You and Aya can travel back with the others and off load everything. I don't know when I'll be back, but I will." Reaching into where his clothing was stored, he pulled out his hat that had been left there and handed it to Duvain. "Give that to Aurine, and tell her to hold onto it for me until I get back. Tell her to think of it as insurance that I will be back, since it's one of my favorite hats and I'm leaving it with her." He honestly didn't like the thought of how Aurine might react to him leaving off with these Magi so suddenly. Maybe the Magi had something to make crazy fish much less crazy. He'd have to remember to ask.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Duvain shrugged. "Magical runes carved out of a book are nothing more than symbols. You understand that much about weaving I'm sure. I keep warning you about it, Glenn. The Magi are not just peddlers on a corner selling cheap trinkets. They call themselves scientists who believe morals and ethics slow down humanity's progress. They are ruthless no matter what they do, be it when they bring their massive air ships down upon you, or when dangling miracle cures for sicknesses over the heads of potential research subjects." Duvain said flatly.

At the next bit, with Glenn actually seeming to be inclined to agree to Queen's insistent 'requests', Duvain looked less than pleased. "Even with this hat, I doubt someone like her will be pleased. You had better come back, because with all this grief, I'll need someone to treat me well while I get over the massive migraine I feel coming on." she said, taking a deluxe package and bringing it over to Aya. "You want something delicious, kitty?" she inquired, and Aya gave a little meow in response, looking up at Duvain while sitting on the sand.

Just then, Glenn heard sound of wheels coming down the road. Two wagons came rolling down. The one they drove previously, and an unremarkable wagon presumably from the village. One was pulled by a centaur, and the other, their own wagon, was seemingly pulled by a centaur that looked remarkably like Sona. Once the two wagons arrived, the centaur Sona seemed to compress into a blue and green ball of mishmash colors before sprouting back out into her original human form. The sight caught everyone's attention even past the point when she was done transforming.

Seeing Glenn, Sona ran along the beach with her arms open, and collided into him with a big hug, while Glenn could almost feel as if the ocean itself was staring at him. "I did it Glenn! Reward, please!" she said greedily.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

"Don't worry. I'll be back. Hopefully with a little 'good' Magi knowledge you'll approve of, and that can help the town." He answered his new found elf friend. Leaving the town wasn't what he was hoping to do, but he recalled the words a certain sage had told him earlier. Time was an ample sacrifice to learn some helpful things he could use for himself and for the others. He just hoped that was all he'd have to sacrifice on this trip. To say that he was growing nervous of going anywhere with these Magi would be quite an understatement. He hoped having Sona tag along would at least alleviate that worry somewhat, though he wouldn't deny the thought of learning more about her with specialized equipment...

Looking to the elf as she talked of a headache, the man caught himself and raised a finger pointed upward in exclamation, moving over to the medical crate and popping it open. "Here, this should do something for that. This is reduced form ManuCotin. Mild painkiller and reserve replinisher. Take just one if it starts to get bad. If that doesn't work try one from the normal version. But stop it after that; I wouldn't want you getting sick off of taking to many meds." He told her as he showed her the bottles in question, shaking the little capsules held inside and causing a rattle. He'd then proceed to pull out a small glass bottle from one of the packages that was a deep blue with glowing streaks, opening it and drawing the thing to his lips before pouring some of it back.

The liquid washed of vile pugnant taste to Glenn, but it was a necessary evil as it was an ingestible form of Manarol that helped to speed up the recovery to one's spirit. Not at all very different to a potion of mana that worked over time really, just more compact with less to ingest. And unlike potions, since this was packaged as a medical aid, it didn't come with any flavoring agents so he had a time shaking his head in a feeble attempt to endure the taste of it. Scrunching his face and drawing his mouth and tongue out with a groan before screwing the cap back on the bottle of the glass and placing it back in the crate where he had fetched it from.

His attention was caught by the sound of wagons, as was the others. Glenn was surprised to see that there were only two wagons and two centaurs coming down the path. He had expected a little more. That one of the centaurs among them was actually Sona left the man gaping. It appeared as if she had merely grown a thick, muscular horse body underneath he as far as he could tell. Had he not known she was a mimic Glenn would honestly believe that she had transformed into such a Centaur as she was then, which to some strange appeal didn't look all that half bad. He wondered briefly that if she could mimic creatures as well what other monsters she might be able to transform into, and whether she could mimic their powers as well. 'Hell if she can do that she might turn out to be a full on shapeshifter at this rate.'

Glenn was a little less pleased that she brought Aurine's wagon to use too instead of another, and when she compressed into a ball of colors and then back to her normal self had all eyes on her. Watching the mimic as she rushed happily towards him with open arms before she ran into him with some force and glomped him, causing the man to take a few steps back to stay on his feet. Her choice of words left him sighing and shaking his head, even as he returned her hug. "You certainly did, but don't be so selfish. I'd like to recover a little more in case we overdo it again..." He whispered to her, before pulling back and regarding her more visually and audibly. "There has been a little change in plans. You and I are going on a little trip. These Magi have offered to fix this vessel up and give me a tour, and I'd appreciate it if you were to accompany me Sona."

The man guided himself back to the plane as he encouraged her, and signaled some of the Soldiers mucking about as well. "We'll need to load up the stuff heading back to town in these two wagons. If all of you could kindly help?" He'd ask before starting himself to work. Pulling out the crates designated to go back with Duvain and the rest to town, loading them into the first wagon until it could hold no more and then moving to the next until it could hold no more. The aeroplane was practically cleaned out of everything then, only a small on board medical box remaining, filled mostly with simple bandages and gauze. And the black case holding the magic weapons, which he struggle with whether to take along or not. He figured they might be able to fix the rifle better than he might and if not it wouldn't be that much of a loss. He'd have the pistol close by in the least.

"Miss centaur, I wouldn't dare ask you to move that other wagon merely for the sake of moving it's possessions on my behalf. But weighed down as it is perhaps it might serve you as a kind of endurance training? Until you get back to town at least." Glenn didn't know if the warrior centaur could be convinced to pull Aurine's wagon back in Sona's stead, but he figured he at least give it a try. "You could always run circles around it as the others try to move it there too." The man really didn't have much more to say to the lot of them so as soon as the arrangements were made he wished them off and back to town. Leaving himself and Sona alone with the Magi troop on that beach.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Duvain shook her head. "Medicine doesn't work on us elves like they do humans. Unless that's elf specific medication you have there." she stated. "It's understandable that you wouldn't know that though. Our kind often keeps to themselves." she stated, and such was true universally. Elves were a very xenophobic race across the world. "I have ways of aiding myself though, thank you for your concern." she said with a nod to Glenn. "... And be careful." she warned him, before letting him leave.

Once with Sona, the mimic puffed her lips out a little. "Selfish? But Glenn, what other incentive do I have?" she inquired, before wrapping her arms around his waist and pushing her breasts up against his chest, her cleavage easily visible under his nose as she lightly swung her shoulders back and forth alluringly. "It might have felt good for you, but it was like being reborn again for me. I could even make a strong centaur body with all the incredible amounts of energy you spurt into me~" she cooed while talking in a quite filthy manner. Even in her slight rubbings against him, Glenn could feel his knees go weak as a shiver coursed through his body in a wave that seemed to squirm from his spine and to where Sona was making contact with him, as if her very touch was parasitic. She rested her head on his shoulder, just embracing him while rubbing her head against his cheek. "Mmm~" she moaned, one hand smoothing up to cusp the back of his neck. "You're like a big tub of chocolate ice cream, and I wanna just eat you up!" she moaned hungily, as if considering Glenn food.

Though, at the mention of taking her with him to the Magi, Sona broke off from him on her own to look serious for a moment. "You're... Going with the Magi?" she inquired, looking concerned. "Glenn, I'm serious about you being delicious, you best recognize that the women around you definitely want to swallow you whole!" she said, and looked about to say more before Queen announced herself from behind the plane. "Glenn, it seems you've enough friends to manage, and my patience grows thin. Let us be off the moment the plane is unloaded and ready to be taken back to my lab." the leader said. Though before she rounded the corner, Sona gave a start and suddenly reformed herself into his hat, taking place on his head without warning as if he never gave it to Duvain. It didn't feel like his hat though, it felt a good half-pound heavier, a good sign that it was fake. Though from Glenn's perspective, it looked like Sona suddenly wanted to climb onto his head, before her arms turned brown and her body rapidly compressed itself into the tiny fake hat he now wore.

Seeing the things he needed to move out, Duvain nodded and summoned her troop to come aid him. When Glenn went to go get some things himself, the soldiers came up and took them out of his hands. "We'll get that for you, sir." They said, before they all began to rather easily handle all the cargo he had, but there seemed to be a good reason for that. Walking up to perhaps one of the heavier crates, the female soldier clenched her fist with her glove on, squeezing it hard as red lines seemed to erupt from the palm of her glove, eventually soaking the entire glove in oddly cornered lines. Then, with just one hand, she picked up an entire crate on her own before doing the same with her other hand. Like that, Glenn's plane was emptied almost immediately.

"How do you like my patented Power Fist?" Queen asked Glenn. "It allows my soldiers to pick up anything you can imagine with herculean strength, and the palm is made cohesive so it sticks to whatever it touches, removing the need for a good grip. It also doubles as a fine melee tool. Tis basic, but perfect." she said proudly, her hands folded behind her back as she stood tall next to him, before glancing at Glenn with a feline look filled with sly grace. "This is why I think you a wise man, Glenn. Despite all the negative rumors others have no doubt tried to shove down your throat, you knew exactly what to say. You didn't lead your friends into a conflict they certainly would have lost. You didn't pass up on a chance to put yourself in a better position by obliging my wishes. And despite how you still may not trust me..." her eyes narrowed and she smiled. "I think you very well knew I was going to get my way one way or another~" she declared. "I'm so happy to have met someone not a fool, that I'll reward you simply for being you. Indulge me further and let yourself follow me deep into my lab. I will let you show me how your genius compares to mine. You will lose, but I'm curious to see how close you will come." she said, before gesturing to the odd cup and saucer shaped ships they rode in on. "Ride with me, Glenn. You might want to hold onto your hat for this one." she said, before walking up to her ship as her soldiers all made way to get in their ships, each girl sharing a ship with a companion.

Meanwhile, the centaur waved to Glenn. "If it's for Waymeet, I'll move these wagons. You're going to one of the most dangerous places in this world, boy! Don't let their evil madness take you!" the centaur shouted encouragement to Glenn, while Queen merely scoffed at her as if she were an ignorant savage.

"Ironic hearing that, isn't it? When we're not so different from each other as it stands?" she asked knowingly, inviting Glenn to step into the cup after getting in herself. It seemed to have no seats, just a base at the center of the craft where two circular indents into the floor is where Queen placed her feet. The circular base of the saucer lit up a beautiful shade of blue, as if the machine was suddenly powered on despite seemingly having no power source, and her feet seemed to suddenly glue in place, keeping her flat inside the craft. There was no interface either. No levers, no buttons, just a pair of round disks in front of her that looked like they could be drums to a more tribal person. She placed her hands flat against these disks, before more of the odd lines erupted from under her hands similar to the power gloves of the soldiers, making right angels to redirect their power and never going in the same direction as another line, crossing over each other in order to reach the ends of the disk, to cause the craft to suddenly lift slightly into the sky, as if defying gravity.

"It'll be a little while before we reach my Head Quarters. I'm sure you have questions, yes?" Queen invited his curious mind, as she and her soldiers lifted into the sky with Queen taking the lead, forming a triangular formation in the sky before starting to move at rapid speeds over the forest and plains below.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

Glenn made no comment to Duvain when she thanked him and told him to be careful. When Sona lowered her grip on him from his shoulders down to his hips, moving closer and pressing her bosom up at him and shaking lightly, he clenched an eye half shut as the sight came into view, and as her lewd comments sunk into his ears. He felt weakened by them, and her touch, and could feel the shivers traveling down his spine from where she touched him. Feeling almost as if his legs might give out at the knees, but thankfully they did not. He controlled his surprise as much as he could, but her insistent brushes against his face and energetic lewdness left him staggered in a lewd hit of his own.

It left him further surprised that he managed to relay the change of plans to her instead of following up with whatever lewd thoughts had grabbed him in that moment. He was still suitably disjointed when Sona insisted of his tastefulness while Queen made her return, that when the mimic eeped and jumped at him he found himself freezing. Watching her manage to climb up him and transform while doing so. Her body shifting before his very eyes as she changed from the cute little mimic who was just influencing him into shifting brown streaks as she ascended. It was only when she faded from view and the weight of something that felt suspiciously like the hat he just gave Duvain that he realized Sona was doing what she did best.

He didn't understand why she was suddenly so shy of Queen. If she was trying to hide her presence after the intro she just gave he couldn't imagine it would go very well. Queen seemed most talented at weaving as well; would a mimic really be able to avoid her eye for long? He shook his head at the silliness of it and simply gave hat-Sona a few gentle pats. He watched with interest as the Soldiers handled the crates with ease thanks to Queen's power fists as she described them, pondering what configurations of enchantment might further be enchanted on them and in what order. He barely noticed she had taken up beside him until he heard her voice and felt her eyes upon him. Which he could swear his instincts cried of a feline's look about prey of some sort.

"It is interesting. Like a magic glove of might, but more efficient surely." He commented, seeing for himself that feline gaze of hers but a moment before looking back. Listening to her own comments about him before following the Magi into her ship while replying. "I've had experience avoiding conflict before. I know what to look for, even if I've sometimes chosen to ignore it. You weren't exactly threatening me or mine either, and the offer to assist in repairing it helps too. Can you imagine the time it would take me to build a workshop tall enough to house this thing, accure enough scrap through trading and conjuring to mend it, and get it into working order by myself? Well perhaps not entirely by myself; it still would have been quite the chore though. No... in this way it can be done much sooner and I can shift full focus onto the town where I can to help them."

The smooth design of the Magi's flying discs were of a curious sort the man observed. It was all so very... plain. With no need for any of the mundane mechanical designs due to it's full on arcane nature. Focal points existed in the floor indents and circular disks he saw, but from what Queen alluded to earlier he didn't doubt if they were just for convenience. The thing could probably just be piloted by being on it and with alternative links. He eyed the way the floor lit up and Isabel seemingly locked into place, pondering the lack of a seat for himself. Which apparently meant he was to stand Glenn figured, the feeling of a sudden weightlessness occur as the vessel lifted slowly up and rose into the air.

The man raised a hand to hold on to his hat as they started, and then another to touch the side of it with a simple weave producing a small string, which he simply looped under his chin and up to the other side. Giving Sona something to use as a strap to his head; an extra protection to keep her from flying off. He expected she simply suction to his head regardless, but the string also helped too. "I've had questions ever since I came to this place. This island is certainly not what I'm used to. It hasn't been all bad though considering..." He uttered, before clearing up. "Just where exactly are we going? I've only seen the coast and the forest beyond. Waymeet's the first town I've seen. Village I've seen."

Glenn glanced back to see how they were transporting the aeroplane wreak. As soon as he saw the formation he surmised they would be using some kind of weave to lift and hold it in the center. Each vessel offloading part of the work to carry it with practically no effort. "You said something about Angels before. I've heard of demons from others, so I was just gonna assume there is all kinds of... spirits... considering the circumstances. But why the emphasis on them?" He knew that people had many different concepts for those kinds of spirits, even his own with Bellasaur and the others, and so he was curious to learn more about them. Perhaps learn why Isabel had the open hostility. If they could erect a barrier around this place, strong enough to keep everyone in, the hostility sounded a bit... unwise to Glenn.

Re: Reviving Waymeet (Glenn;Ryu)

"Then consider yourself privileged!" Isabel said to Glenn as he inquired about where they were going. "You're going to the most sophisticated and intellectual place on this planet! Where humans are fulfilling their true destiny of becoming the gods of this world! Up in the mountains that split this small continent from the lush green and the dead lands is where we situate ourselves, and draw from the power of the Volcanic Core of this world. We've recently had to stop doing that though, as we've switched alliance due to actions on the side of my former Magi associate turned monster. Our alliance has instead switched to the dwarves, who now help power our machines. So if you do see any of the little creatures, be kind to them Glenn. They have diplomatic immunity as it were. Just don't inhale the air they breathe, it reeks of beer. They're not exactly creatures of hygiene." she stated.

On the topic of angels, "We used to be under a shaky alliance with the angels, Glenn. It's important to know that. Because we're humans who did not directly ally with mamono, the angels allowed us to be without their malice along with their own cult of brainwashed humans, The Order. This was an alliance formed by the former leader of the Magi, Fortmaster Cleska. It was she who made the decision to conform rather than oppose the angels, and it was a decision we all agreed with for a time as the angels had the promise and the means of completely destroying us." she said, before frowning a bit. "After a time, Cleska began to appear more and more like a mere agent of the angels, even adopting their policies of ruthless cruelty which attributed to the Magi's bad name. It soon no longer was about science, it was just about torture and mutilation of mamono. She was practically stroking her cunt to their screams while nothing was gained." Isabel said harshly. "She became too powerful for us to oppose as well, using a giant power plant fueled by volcanic energy from Ignis' lair to turn herself into a war machine. It took both my genius knowledge of how souls work and my former associate's newfound power to defeat Cleska and seal her soul into a helpless doll. Now, I have taken up leadership of the Magi and with my associate's connections, have allies with which to protect the Magi's military and scientific glory. We can finally practice science once again!" she declared, as her companions all shouted, "Excelsior!"

"It may be dangerous to incur the wrath of the angels, but Glenn, you must understand that to not live one's dream is to live a life of unfulfillment." she said, sounding serious towards him, leaning forward a bit as she seemed lost in her own thoughts. Though her leaning forward meant that the shapely rump he saw before was now about an inch away from his most concerned place. He even heard Sona on top of his head whisper. "Oh... My...~" at the sight of the scientific butt.

"Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to create things. I discovered the power of weaving at an early age, and whenever I was told by my parents to do a chore, they gave me crummy old-fashioned tools to do it. I used my weaving talents to take care of issues with no effort at all. But they were like you, holding onto some kind of value to the old fashioned way. We fought, and I was removed from the house at the ripe age of fourteen. Using my favorite teacup as a design base, I continued my experiments using my rapidly growing talents. I made the prototype for the device we're flying in now. My invention caught the eye of the Magi, and Cleska, who took me in. I thought she was interested in my research into tools and medicine, but she was only interested in my method of extraction. You see, to observe a cure, you need to experiment. To discover a cure to poison, I poisoned creatures to try and cure it. While others called me cruel and evil for what I was doing, Cleska called me a genius, so I allied myself to her due to my own insecurities." she claimed. Then, she stood up straight, giving Glenn a little more room and peace. "When I had the chance to betray Cleska, I did. I soon found that she was no different than my former parents. Just another broken cog preventing me from doing exactly what I was meant to. Angels be damned, I will no longer be held back by anyone!" Isabel declared with a proud boast.

Then, she looked back at Glenn with a smile. "What do you think? Am I evil?" she inquired. Glenn could answer or not, either way, time would pass and they were nearing the mountains at an amazing speed, faster than any vessel Glenn has been in while he could almost see the particles in the air being shoved aside by an invisible force, some kind of protective shield preventing the wind force from shoving against them too hard. If Glenn looked at the weaves, rather than a barrier, it looked like a net, not preventing but drastically reducing the impact of wind. They were given a comfortable ride, slowly slowing down and coming towards a large formation of a settlement made of metal fixated on the mountainside. Like a scar down the mountain, the Magi headquarters ran thick down the side, with various things flying around it like flies until they got closer, when Glenn saw some of the massive ships that they seemed to have. No blimps to keep themselves in the air, it looked like a horizontally shaped structure that could pass as a building sooner than a boat or an airship, though proved to be far more than expected as Glenn would notice it was flying, or at least hovering, in the air. At the bottom of the mountain, it looked to be like where most people lived, and the further up you went, the more spacious and sophisticated the buildings looked, having recognizable shapes in the form of spires, square buildings that all had labels of "Science of-" listed on them, dedicated to multiple forms of science, such as engineering, mechanical weaving, and science of medicine. The largest building of them all was near the top, just short of the volcano's top. "MAGI HQ" it read on the large building that looked like a giant temple dedicated to science, with four tall spires on each corner of it's walls and a large double door at the entrance.

They flew into the city, towards the more sophisticated district. The ground was surprisingly flat, with many foundations of thick metal to hold them steady. Isabel and her fellows came towards the Science Building of Engineering, which looked like a giant dock without a shore, where multiple large craft like the one they were carrying would be delivered. "Drop it off inside one of the hangers and stay there, tell them to examine the craft thoroughly and NOT to scrap it." Isabel said. "Figure out how to fix and improve it using our superior technology. I will be heading off with Glenn to the Artificial Intelligence building." she said as Glenn's plane was slowly brought into the hanger while she and Glenn hovered over the large strip that looked like an airfield that ran along the mountainside. Isabell flew over the massive building, and back to the main streets that looked like some kind of steam punk London, before landing in front of a building that seemed to take up one acre of space, with similar letters illustrated in metal along the side of the brick building. "Science of Artificial Intelligence" it read on the front. There was a large shutter on one side of the building, and a simple pair of doors on the other side. Isabel opted for the smaller doors. "Before we go in, I need to inform you about something, and we're going to play a little game." she chuckled. "Inside this building, not everyone is human. If you can spot the difference between real and fake, I'll give you a prize." she chuckled knowingly.
