Re: Legend of Lynn

Lynn decided to get her bearings. She took out the map that was given to her by her father. The map of the city seemed to be intact and the entire Forest of Time was as well, but the rest of the maps was faded. However, Lynn realizes that a little less than 50 years has passed since her father made this map the last time he was here, so it might not be up to date. She saw several locations where she could go on the map. North into the Forest of Time was nothing of interest, besides a house labeled "'s House", the first part of the name was faded. There were also several locations throughout Lynna City. Where should she go?:

A. ?'s House in the northern part of the Forest of Time.

B. East and then south to an empty are of the Forest of Time.

C. The General Store in Lynna City.

D. The Ring Shop in Lynna City.

E. Bippin and Blossom's House in Lynna City.

F. Mayor Plen's House in Lynna City.

G. Maku Road entrance, in Lynna City.

H. Dr.Troy's House in Lynna City.

I. The Know-It-All Birds' Hut in Lynna City.

J. Madame Mamamu's House in Lynna City.

K. South-west Lynna City towards then de-mapped area of Labrynna.

L. Explore the Black Tower Grounds.

M. Explore the South Shore.

A. Can't be having faded unknown names on a map. Risk for knowledge!

Re: Legend of Lynn

Lynn's curiousity got the best of her and decided that it'd be best to explore the house with the faded name on her map. She heads north through the path between the trees and follows the map to the house. After a few minutes of walking through the forest, she arrives at a house burrowed into a short, wide tree. On the west side of the house there was an odd symbol etched into a flat stone in the ground. To the east, there was a line of bushes between leading north through the trees. Lynn knocks on the door. After a few minutes, there was no answer, she tried knocking again. After another few minutes, Lynn tried to open the door, but it was securely locked. There were no windows, and no other way to enter the house.

What should she do?:

A. Try to open the door.

B. Examine the mysterious symbol.

C. Go to another known map location (please specify).

D. Other.

Re: Legend of Lynn

B. Odd symbol? On the ground? Surely investigating/standing on it is a good idea.

Re: Legend of Lynn

Lynn investigates the strange symbol. It looks something like this:

She grabs a small stick nearby and pokes it. Nothing happens. She then sticks her boot out and taps the symbol with her boot. Nothing happens, it just feels like a hard patch of rocky earth.

What should she do now?:

A. Try to open the door.

B. Go to another known map location (please specify).

C. Other.

Re: Legend of Lynn

Lynn shrugs her shoulders seeing as there wasn't anything of interest in the forest. She makes her way back to Lynna City. Upon arriving back to the City, Lynn pulls out her map to see where she should go to find a good start for an adventure. She sees the mayor's house on the map and figures that would be as good a start as any for an adventure. She walks through the city to get to the mayor's house. On the way, she see's a statue of her father in the center of a small pond. She looks at in awe, her realization of the great impact her father's adventures had on the land of Labrynna. After gazing upon the statue of her father, she heads north and into the mayor's house. The mayor turned to Lynn with a skeptical look on her face.

"Hello there, I believe I haven't met you before, but you look so familiar..."

"Oh, I'm Lynn. I'm the daughter of Link, the Hero of Time. I've come to Labrynna in search of an adventure."

The mayor's eyes lit up with excitement.

"Well, it's an honor to meet you in person. My name is mayor Plenn. I wasn't aware that Link had a daughter. Who was the lucky woman~?"

Lynn blushes deeply as the man pried at her father's personal life.

"Uh... Umm..."

"Well anyway, if you're in search of an adventure here, you should visit the Maku Tree to the North of the city's ring shop."

What should Lynn do?:

A. Ask more about her father.

B. Ask about the land of Labrynna.

C. Thank the mayor and visit the Maku Tree.

D. Other.

Re: Legend of Lynn

"Thank you mister Plenn, I'll go and do that~."

"You're welcome young hero. Good luck on your journey."

Lynn leaves the mayor's house and travels to the great Maku Tree. She turns left at the ring shop and heads north. She goes up a short, wide set of stairs and steps into a very shallow, marshy terrain. She keeps going until she arrived at a gigantic tree. Lynn looked up at the huge tree in awe, next to it was another large statue of her father. Surrounding the tree were several large roots visible from the surface and several pretty, pink-colored marsh flowers. The tree had a face in it and Lynn leapt back in surprise when she heard it speak.

"Link~<3. Is that you~<3. It's been ages since we've last met~<3. Now we can get married, like you promised~<3."

Lynn blushes and was completely flustered by that.

"B-b-but I'm n-n-not Link... I'm her d-daughter, Lynn..."

"Oh... Then that mean that Link married somebody else!"

Lynn watched as it appeared that the tree was about to... cry... This was getting a bit wierd for her.

"S-sorry to interupt but I have come to Labrynna in search of an adventure."

"Oh, then you've come to the right place. I have an quest you can partake in, but first could you do me a favor~?"

Lynn was obliviously blinded by her excitement of going on her own adventure, that she was unaware of the Maku tree's mischievous intentions.

"Sure~. What do you need?"

The tree rustles its upper branches, causing an intricate-looking key to fall from above. Lynn picks up the key curiously.

"Take this key to the locked door in the chambers below and take care of some rats that are nibbling at my lower roots. They've become quite the nuisance."

Lynn nodded and marched off with high confidence towards the set of stairs nearby that lead into the caves below the tree.

"Wait! Where do you think you're going~?"

Lynn stops and turns to the Maku Tree, confused.

"Um... down into the tunnels to take care of the rats... like you asked..."

"You can't go down into the tunnels like that~. Those tunnels are sacred~. You can only enter them bearing that which you had with you when you were born~<3."

Lynn looked to the tree with an embarrassed expression on her face.

"But! That would leave me butt naked!"

"I know~. But those are the ruuuu~uuuuules~<3."

"But how can I fight these rats without a weapon or armor."

"Surely a mighty adventurer like yourself is proficient enough to take care of a few small rats without a sword~."

Emily blushes deeply. What shout she do~?:

A. Strip completely naked as the tree asked before entering the cave.

B. Screw the rules, she has money... oh, wait, she doesn't...

C. Other.
