Is there something special you have to do to get the boars to spawn? I've tried going to the woodlands at least 15 times in a row and only get orgs.

Not that I know of. Played the current version when it first came out and got them to spawn. I did play from the beginning though. Only odd thing I did was save after beating the orcs (see below also).

Discussed on page 180&181 of this thread. But here's what I did:
Play from the beginning, not an existing save.
Beat the orcs in the forest stage.
Save the game. (just save not save & load)
Entelodons were there.

Doesn't matter how fast your internet is if their server is overloaded. Their server seems to get overloaded easily, try downloading at a different time of day.

Discussed on page 180&181 of this thread. But here's what I did:
Play from the beginning, not an existing save.
Beat the orcs in the forest stage.
Save the game. (just save not save & load)
Entelodons were there.


I took your advice and did so. I made a new save, played all the way back to the woodlands, saved and then entered the woodlands. After 15 more tries I still couldn't get them to spawn. I even went back to page 181 and took your save file that was there and still nothing. I have the latest version too. The entelodons folder was in the enemy folder.

Did you actually beat the orcs (orgs)? Or are you just entering the stage without ever beating them? I think defeating them first is required, may have to do it while the game is running (not from a save).

If so, I don't know what else to tell you. :( Don't know what the problem is, maybe it really is just random and I got very lucky to have it trigger right away. That seems like an extreme coincidence though, especially if others are having so much trouble with it. Might try again if I get time.

Ok I'm at a loss on 2 things:

1 How are you guys getting lvl 14 characters?
2 How do you unlock the new stuff? Who do I talk to etc?
I know I have the newest version (I think, the files are there for the new stuff so....)
I've tried some of the saves posted but no luck :(

Yes, I've beaten them many many many times. I would have thought after the 10th or 12th time I've beaten them in a row I would have encountered them at least once. I don't know.

i did never beat the orcs... when i wanted to see the Entelodons i do it the same way as with the flys... look if the hunters are there... if not: just leave the area and re-enter

Try talking to the barkeeper or hunter manager.

Most things trigger after talking to those two.

My problem isn't with the downloading, it's the fact that the site won't load up for me! It keeps coming up with an error. So yeah~

What does the error say? Post a screenshot and maybe we can help you. Just saying 'I get an error' is generally not enough information to go off of.

It isn't really an error per say but more like I can't accuse the page. You know the page that you get when you're trying to go online in any type of web browser but your connection is down. Well, that's what I'm getting. Everything else if fine, it's just I can't get to that page.

Is it a 403 Forbidden message? 404? A screenshot would be very helpful.

My bwst guess as is would be you're trying ti access tge site during a busy time, or that maybe your country has it blocked.

i took a break from HOTB because of the win8 problem, is this problem still a thing or did it somhow changed other than disable sound start game and then have weird sound playing?

Upgrade to Win10, apparently it works on Win10.

Well I had a go at it with a different computer and still no luck so I'm guessing it's either a really bad time for me or the country I'm in is currently not letting me do so~ "Sigh~" Which is kinda weird cause I remember that I was able to download it before. But with that being said, it was about a year ago~ Ha~ ^_^|||

You're probably just having trouble with UFXC since it's a shitty download site.

It's already been explained a hundred times in this thread alone how to use UFXC so it shouldn't be too hard to find a post or two on it.

Well like I said before, I've downloaded this game before but it's an old version. I didn't have problem with it before just for some reason it won't let me now. Was hoping for and alternative download but I guess I'll just have to give up for now.
