Shouldn't unfinished games be moved to/posted in the Under Construction forum?

I counted 9 unfinished games on the front page of this forum, when there is already a forum specifically designed for them. Keeping them separate makes sense since following the development of a game, offering feedback, and beta testing is far different than playing a finished product. It would help to know that all the treads in this forum are about discussing and sharing games in a finished state, and Under Construction had all the works in progress.

The Under Construction forum is for people in this community who are working on their game. The Unfinished tag is for games that are made by people, often who don't speak/read/write English very well, that are not active in this community.

And then there's those games that were never completed and never will be. They're still unfinished, but not under construction either.

Also, this doesn't seem like it should be its own thread. Maybe have it moved to the FAQ?

But I LIKE seeing games that are unfinished/under contruction on the hentai games thread.. You know why?..

BECAUSE IT'S A HENTAI GAME..

I don't care if it's a demo, or a nearly-completed game.. If it's a good hentai game, I want it on this forum, because the "Hentai game" category basically translates to "Hentai game news feed" to me.. I go there to check what games are growing, which aren't, and see demos of new games under developement..

The UNDER CONSTRUCTION category would be for the members in this forum (Like she said) who try to make their own games, because more MEMBERS are directed there, and those devs specifically gets more advice from MAIN MEMBERS, who usually have more important things to say in areas of criticism and suggestions..

Of course from what I've seen most of the games they try to make are either flops or forgotten blueprints, but that's probably WHY they have their own forum category.. Because someone like YOU complained about it, and a mod/admin said "Fuck it, I'll make a new category for those budding developers to keep these rats away from them so they can operate in a bitch-free area.."

So sit down, shut up, watch the forums, play some delicious demos, glance at some blogs, and be glad with what you have, because I don't want it to change just because you're too spoiled to enjoy a good thing.

yeah if we need to get all picky on that there would also need to be a never to get done ever, ever, ever spot. mmm probably would even need a spot for
"Here I found this Unknown game/demo that is maybe or maybe not being worked on by a Unknown person/s but it has real high hopes of being a cool game if it gets complete or even just a update or two but probably never will" that would be the whole name of the forum.

Ignoring the hypocrisy of this thread, there should be a line between games in the unfinished game section and games in the hentai games. In my opinion, a good way to distribute between the two would be if the game has had previous title made before by the maker, Thus increasing the chances of it coming out fully, Or perhaps the game has a demo, also increasing the chances it will come out fully, or a combination of both. But surly Artists just saying "Hey guys, Im going to make my first game and here are my ideas." Should probably be put in the developing games section.

The Mods have a handle on it. If they don't move something, it doesn't need to be moved.

The Under Construction section was created back when there was a massive influx in topics made by people who wanted to create their own h-game and were looking for assistance and/or feedback from the forums directly. The constant bumping of those topics cluttered the Hentai Games section and made it hard to distinguish between what was an already established game by an established developer, and a member of the forums who wanted input from others, so the section was created to move all of those threads to a place that would allow for those posts, but leave the Hentai Games section relatively clear.

The [Unfinished] tag is used for games that are not being developed any further, or are being updated regularly. The tag does not indicate that the developer is directly asking the forum for advice on what to do with their game or recruiting people to help develop the game. It is simply there to inform others that the game is not a finished product.

I'm likely not going to change my stance on this, so thread locked since the question has been answered.
