Re: Tentacle Souls

E! Evolve a lust inducing spell! Spend 30+ energy on it if we have to! Then blast the dynamic duo with said spell and let the festivities begin! Of course joining in once things get going.

...

...

...

Fine, just A2 and evolve Firebolt I maybe try for Firebolt II as well.

1. DIPLOMANCY.

Also, acquire ye Thundersting ("Magipunch level 1 potency?" ;_;) because zzzzap muthafucka is the best magic. It can probably set fires too, anyway, right?

I can't believe I forgot to nick all the spells from Lost in the Jungle! Dafuq was I thinking...

I'll update the evolution list.

Evolutions:
- Infest I (allows you to latch onto hosts and drain energy. Try and do it when they won't immediately notice and squash you).
- Fire Bolt I (like Magic Sting I, but Fire element).
- Thunder Bolt I (^, but Thunder element).
- Water Bolt I (...ditto).
- Slime Ooze I (secrete slime that can be both sticky and slippery. Further upgrades allow you to do much more with it).
- Scale Armor I (More protective against spells and phsyical attacks than Slime Ooze, but much less multi-purpose).
- Ovipositor I (Allows you to lay eggs within the orifice of a host. At low levels, these eggs are weak and may not hatch properly. Further upgrades reduces this risk. Each egg costs 10 energy to plant, but the hatched tentacle is autonomous and commanded by you).
- Arouse I (Releases pheromones that make organisms around you more sexually aroused. Great for use in traps or to distract an enemy).
- Dread I (Releases pheromones that make organisms more afraid. The higher the level, the stronger the effect it has, and the better it works on people (lower levels are effective mostly against animals)

- Perception II (20 Energy. Use body language and other subtle, chemical clues to put together a general hint of what someone is feeling at any given time. Is that a molecule of sweat? They're nervous. Are their fingers tapping? Clearly impatient.)
- Aura Detect 2.55 (20 energy. Your sense of auras is refined, and you can see them from a great distance and judge their power levels more accurately. Also allows you to faintly detect Cursed auras).
- Stealth II (20 energy required. Become even sneakier).
- Swim II (20 energy required. Can you guess what this evolution does?)
- Body Shock II (20 Energy required. A powerful wave of magical energy runs over your skin. Akin to picking up a live electrical wire. Obviously limited to close-range combat, though).
- Tentacle Arts II (20 Energy required. Recover HP through sex).

- Growth III (30 energy required. Grow to a chunky, 6-foot long python, complete with split heads.)
- Magic Shield III (30 energy cost. Lasts longer and tougher to break than Level II).
- Magic Sting III (30 Energy required. Costs 5 energy to use, but a direct hit will send most foes flying off their feet).

1. DIPLOMANCY.

Also, acquire ye Thundersting ("Magipunch level 1 potency?" ;_;) because zzzzap muthafucka is the best magic. It can probably set fires too, anyway, right?
Don't worry, it'll do more damage (on the whole) than Level I Magic Sting because most enemies have pretty severe elemental weaknesses.

Re: Tentacle Souls

I like evolving Growth III, Arouse I, AND Arouse II. I'm assuming that Arouse I would be 10 energy and Arouse II would be 20.

Then tell them both to knock it off, and if they don't, use our newly-enhanced size and sexy attractiveness to fuck whichever objects (both, one hopes...) into a stupor. Wouldn't exactly be a blue option, since I bet the Succubus would enjoy an orgy.

As to afterwards... I'd want to get Firebolt I and a defensive mutation before hitting the Polar Dimension, but that's the only one we haven't visited yet.

Paladin wants some NeverMeltIce from caves of the Polar Dimension, yes.

The Polar Dimension is the only totally unexplored one, but there's still the ships to go through (more to that than meets the eye) plus some missed stuff on the wasteland above in Flaming Dimension. Back in the Ocean Dimension you can still explore the very depths, or try and swim away from the main mountain. Things will have changed by the time you get back there anyway.

Slime Ooze can be kinda used defensively to make you stick to walls, or really hard to hold onto if grabbed, but Scale Armor is your best bet for physical defense. Slime Ooze gets much better at high levels when it can be imbued with stuff to induce lust or sleep or whatever.

Re: Tentacle Souls

Sorry for the long gaps between updates, guys. IRL is still a busy mess. Sigh.

Anyway, Option A, Arouse II and Polar Dimension are the winners, I think. You can have Arouse II for just 20 energy, I hadn't realised it should be 30 to get the Level I form as well. So yeah, that's the reward for out-witting me. ;)

-----

You slide over towards the arguing pair. Whilst their fighting is admittedly very entertaining, it certainly isn't productive. You're going to need all the allies you can get to stay in one piece these days, and any in-fighting is just a pain.

"Oi!" you call out. "Knock it off!"

Both women turn to look at you, faces red and panting from the exertion. The Paladin is still pinned to the ground beneath the Succubus. She's the first to reply.

"This... whore insulted me!" she shouts. "I serve an ancient and noble order, and there can be no forgiveness for calling doubt upon my devotion!"

You sigh inwardly; the Paladin has always been prickly and over-sensitive at the best of times.

"Well, you insulted my body!" retorts the Succubus, sounding more than a little like a petulant child. She grabs her cloth-wrapped breasts and shakes them above the Paladin's furious face. "My wonderful, sexy body!"

"Oh, stop it" you tell them, before the Paladin has chance to spit back a reply. Even millennia spent as an all powerful, all conquering tentacle overlord haven't really prepared you for dealing with petty, childish squabbles.

Reluctantly, the Succubus climbs off the Paladin, and offers her a hand to pull her to her feet. The Paladin snorts in disgust, before picking herself up and stalking off to go and sit by the pool surrounding the Blue Archcrystal. She turns her back to you, leaving you looking blankly at her golden ponytail.

You rotate to face the Succubus, who shrugs. "I tried..." she says, before walking off to go and sit by the Red Archcrystal.

After nodding sympathetically at her, you squirm off (pausing only to shudder, convulse, and evolve Arouse II) and approach the White Archcrystal. It's the last one you haven't partially investigated... it's got to be worth a try. Feeling oddly upbeat, you raise yourself against the Archcrystal and press your way through.

****

It's cold. That's your first thought. You've woken up on a floor of ice, the Archcrystal right behind you. The floor of ice itself is in a strange, U-shaped cave - that is, you're on a curved precipice, a wall surrounding you and with a frozen ceiling above. The center of the U, however, drops off sharply into a black, empty abyss. You shuffle over to have a closer look; there's nothing down there that you can see, not even the bottom.
At the bottom curve of the U is a small, rough opening leading out of the cave - you can see snow blowing in gently from outside. The wind that carries it in echos oddly around the cave, reverberating and giving the place an eerie feel. Small, tiny plants cling grimly to the rocks that make up the opening, and outside you can hear the faint snorting sounds of a boar looking for food.

You're on the left side of the precipice. Straight ahead is the abyss, and beyond that the other side of the U. Looking to your left, you can see surprisingly even rectangular blocks of ice leading ever down, even deeper into the cave.
From the right hand side of U, emerging from a just out of sight tunnel, something more worrying appears - a pair of white primates, each the size of a small wolf. You know them to be Blango; they walk on all fours, have pristine white fur covering their entire bodies, and squashed, purple faces with peach cheeks, just above a mouth full of sharp, piercing teeth.
On their own they're vicious but not life threatening. However, they are rarely seen without their group leader, the Blangonga. Reports describe those beasts as standing taller at the shoulder than a horse, with huge sabre fangs and crushing paws covered in razor-sharp claws...

The Blango pair spot you and growl threateningly. Together they slowly pad their way around the icy rink towards you...

----

Option 1) Retreat to your left, heading deeper into the cave.

Option 2) Go to the right, making for the opening to the outside world at the base of the U.

Option 3) Evolve Slime Ooze (for its adhesive properties) and slither down the icy wall of the abyss. There's no way the savage apes will be able to follow, and who knows, you might find something interesting down there.

Option 4) Evolve Slime Ooze, scoot up the walls, and pelt the stupid Blango with Magic Sting II when they come in range.

Option 5) Evolve Infest I and clamber inside one of the Blango when they venture too close. Use the increased mobility of the ape to go exploring and get a feel for your surroundings beyond the cave.

Status
Health: 21/30
Energy: 55/80
Morality: 14/100 (nicer than most Saints)

I know it seems like Morality is affecting jack-shit, but it would have been impossible to reconcile the women earlier with a morality of greater than 50, and I swear to god there will be character/s in this Dimension who it will affect your interactions with. I promise.

- Magic Sting III (30 Energy required. Costs 5 energy to use, but a direct hit will send most foes flying off their feet).
- Arouse III (Induces great lust in your target. Most people/creatures will be stopped dead and driven to masturbation, you, or another target).
