I don't know if it has been discussed already, I tried searching this thread for it but didn't find any hits.

But either its a bug or I am missing something, how do you get her clothes back on? I used clothing escape and it failed and I lost my clothes and then I lost the battle. I got returned to the home took a nap. Interacted with all objects in the house. At the dresser she doesn't want to change as she is happy with the clothing she has on (even though she has nothing on) and now I can't escape any more and I take way more damage it seems in battles...

*edit* turns out I just didn't progress far enough, won't say anything to spoil story.

Don't need to answer my question anymore :p

But that is a bug though still. You need to have clothes reset in the first stage when you interact with dresser at house perhaps?

That's a good idea. I'll make a note to add that. What she says about her outfit being easy to repair is outdated anyway (since she can no longer repair her clothing).

Edit: You probably do take a lot more damage since having no clothing means the enemies always go first.

And I'm surprised that escape failed when you had that last piece of clothing on, since all enemies only have 50 agility (compared to Sienna's 255 with clothing on).
But I guess it can happen. Probably like a 1% chance.

A few notes.

1: Like the poster above, I seem to have lost my clothing permanently and cannot get it back. UNLIKE them, I'm in the abyss, and I'm not sure at what point the clothing loss happened, but my Escape Ability is permanently reduced to 1. I've bought the clothing upgrade from the pig merchant. I can tell Sienna is wearing clothes because her sprite changes after she washes using the bucket. As a note, I have gotten Sienna's spirit extremely low this run, so if that affects it, that is probably why it's stuck at 1.

2: On the topic of low spirit, high guilt: You eventually reach a point where Sienna shows an ahegao portrait during rape and sex scenes, but her dialogue doesn't change from the set just before that; (Stuff like 'Take me', 'I deserve this', 'I'm your bitch', etc) if this isn't a bug, perhaps she should have another set of lines unlock when you get to the point that she appears to enjoy it? Her current lines just seem... cold. Dispassionate. Which makes sense for the previous set of faces, but not nearly so much when she seems to be cumming her brains out every time.

3: Spirit should decrease a little faster, or there should be an enemy type/activity you can fuck/do that specifically decreases it by a lot. Currently it takes a lot of rapes to get it to the point that I have. A lot-a lot. Perhaps that's intentional so you don't accidentally get it low, but for people who want to get it low there should be the option.

4: Doors are really, really irritating. The door opening/closing animation is cool the first 20 or so times you see it, but when you have to leave Sienna's room for the nth time, or enter one of the kids' rooms for the nth time, it becomes annoying very fast. It may be slightly less immersive, but consider replacing, removing, or significantly speeding up the door animations.

5: The guy you can fuck in Kendra's place seems to stop having new dialogue when you get to the point that he tells Sienna that he'll tap her and ask where she wants him to cum... so he never does, in fact, ask, and always pulls out instead, with the 'ask next time' dialogue repeating ad nauseum. If it's a bug, there you go. If it's just a matter of content you haven't put in yet, consider me corrected.

6: Skills take a pretty long time to level up. Maybe increase the speed by 30-40%?

I do like what you've got here so far, so don't take this as me calling your game shit or anything. These are just some things I noticed.

EDIT: Also, congratulations, your game is the first thing that's convinced me to stop lurking and actually post. Take that as a compliment. :p

EDIT 2: After trying to clear some of the accumulated Trauma from Sienna (I had let it sit for a while on purpose to see what happened), I noticed that the ahegao portraits during sex disappeared... and then, after a rape or two, the during-sex portraits disappeared entirely. (The ones that you see between insertion and post-orgasm that usually have no text.) I'm uncertain if it's because the game can't figure out what to load with my absurdly low Spirit (-364) and my not-so-high trauma (28) or what, but consider this another bug report.

1. I can't find the source of this problem and I've checked all the possibilities that I can think of. There's probably a spot somewhere I've missed that increases clothing by 1 or, perhaps, there's a location that takes your agility but not your clothing. I'm not sure which but for the next patch I'm changing the outfitter to offer the outfit when you have 1 agility instead of 0 clothing.

2. I worked a lot more on the first two sets of Sienna's rape dialogue. Those work well when she is getting raped. The third set.. not so much, because it is used in consensual and rape sex. Having a lot of consensual sex will build up her taint level (which is hidden) and it will confuse her rape dialogue. I do plan on working on all this a lot more at some point, but for now it will be all screwy if you mix lots of consensual sex with rape.

Actually a month or so ago I did a quick-fix on it. The rape dialogue was a lot worse and even more mixed up before that. xP

Edit: I just changed it a bit for the next update. The happy faces shouldn't show up during rape anymore.

3. I don't intend on Spirit being something that you'd want to get low.
In future versions I plan on having low spirit actually result in a game over.
That's not to say that Sienna won't have the possibility of enjoying monster sex. For Sienna.. getting beaten down and then forcefully violated just isn't something that I can see her enjoying, regardless of her personality changes.

4. I might speed up the doors in the future. It's not something that I had considered, but I'll add it to my to-do list.

5. Like with '2.' above, it's more a matter of content that I haven't added yet, but I do need to make a note of it just in case. It's been a while since I worked on him so I completely forgot about leaving it there. So thanks for the reminder. :)

There's actually a lot more I want to add to Kendra's Palace. There will be times when Yellow is having sex with the other girls. I've got the sprites but haven't set up the events yet.

6. Most skills only go to level 5. Is there any in particular that you're having trouble with or just all of them in particular? I recently doubled the rate of the farming skill... which I should probably rename to gardening, considering I removed the planting mechanic. xP

Side note 1: High trauma won't have any effect on anything, aside from lowering the amount of maximum life Sienna has. Some high level tonics should take care of that pretty fast though.

Side note 2: Having less than -75 spirit won't change dialogue any further. I'd suggest keeping it at least above -100, as that's probably where I'll have the game over happen. When you gamble with Annis there is a possibility of her restoring your spirit.

Once the bug happened, it happened on every monster I tried, but I specifically used the rats (first floor of the Dungeon, top right) for it. The bug persists through saving and loading... and it is also noteworthy that this is indeed on the same save where the ahegao-during-rape trickery happened.

I found it. After you have consensual sex more than 10 times the event no longer has anything to display, which is basically another instance of content that I haven't added yet.

That will also fix this issue during rape, but not during consensual sex with Yellow or Gray.

For now there is a way to reset it if you picked up the Holy Bible at the start. You'll also need her Spirit restored first though. If she has at least -75 or higher spirit she can ask for forgiveness (costing her 50 spirit), and it will reset the 'taint' she gained from consensual sex.

I know the cost in spirit is costly and that will change in future versions. There will also be an alternative if you didn't get the Holy Bible, as I plan on religion not even being mentioned if you don't pick it up.

But anyway the rape instances where those portraits were will be different in the next update. I'll go ahead and add a temp fix for the consensual ones too.

I just finished an animation that I really like, and it would be somewhat easy to re-use it for each monster.

So I need opinions. Would anyone mind if I basically re-use the same animations for every monster in the game?

I'm considering making 4 different animations and then re-using those for every monster.

Here's the same sex animation with a mummy and again with a ghoul.

Sorry there's not much new besides some fixes. I've been working a lot on new sex sprites, most of which aren't even available in-game yet.

Plus I decided to make a new bribery system, which should make the sex system better in the long run. Hopefully nobody will miss the thrill of instant combat when you run into an enemy... and hopefully Sienna's daughters' comments before battle won't be too annoying. xP

Right now they can only say one thing but I'll try and have it be more random and possibly change as they grow in power.

I wouldn't mind. At least add some minor differences in the sprites (like some are wetter or some are painful to her). I have seen your other sprites in another thread and I like them. Glad to see you finally fixed the gliding feet.

I have been following this game for a while (since you started it) and one of the main reasons I became a non-lurker is to talk about this game. Keep up the good work.

I usually have to modify the sprites a little anyway. I think they will be varied enough that you'll rarely mind the similarities, if they're even noticeable.

I'm currently working on improving the monster sex. It's taking time but going well. I might go ahead and re-upload again soon to demo what I've done with it so far. I've finished the green slime's new sex eventing and the only thing it's missing are climax animations.

I'm thinking of just making some animations of Sienna laying down with a little cum leaking out, and having alternate versions (more messy) for when excess cum leaks out.

Ending scenes would be nice. You could even go further by making the scene depend on her guilt/spirit as well. Lower guilt could cause more "messier" scenes. Just an idea. Will her daughters have any guilt/spirit of their own in the future?

Guilt:
If she is being raped then it will lower her libido for that type of sex (oral, anal, or vaginal). If the sex is consensual then it will increase it. After she reaches 10+ the consensual scenes get slightly messier as the monster comes a little more, even increasing the amount of cum by 40%.

I'll probably improve on that system at some point, adding more messiness and possibly even Sienna raping the monsters at high libido and/or intoxication, temptation, etc.. levels. I should really hide the amount of guilt and show libido instead.

Guilt is basically the good/bad slider in the game, but I'd rather players not know their guilt/morality level as I want the player to play the game how they want without worrying about future consequences.

I think it would be comical if Sienna has built up a lot of temptation and rapes a monster w/o the player having any say. xD

Spirit:
Losing spirit is bad. It will depress Sienna more and more. At some point I will implement defeat at -100 spirit, as she will completely shut down mentally.

I know players want to get it on with the monsters though, so that's why I've been working on the new bribery system. All monsters can be bribed with sex (which is considered consensual and does not lose any spirit, doesn't result in trauma, and you get to keep your clothes).

Rape will have an extra penalty, which is that you lose your outfit completely.

Her daughters and sex: There are technical and storyline reasons for this, but the story will focus primarily on Sienna. Her daughters won't be directly available for sex scenes. There might be sex scenes involving them at some point in the story if they happen to find a love interest... or something/someone that appeals to them. I have some ideas in mind but I don't want to spoil any future surprises. :)

Edit: I had actually initially planned on Sienna being able to change hair/wing/skin tone depending on what she ate, but that proved to be entirely too complicated.
I'm glad though because her children are the end result of that failing.

Loyal soldier reporting!

I noticed the bug and I'm not sure you know of or you know about it but haven't taken it out yet. It involves on of Sienna's portraits in the game while in the statue room. Everytime I talk to the guy in there, the portrait comes out shadowed out and the words report if found on it. Sooo thats what I'm doing =P.

The libido instead of guilt idea sounds good. It would be easier to work with too and corruption could be a nice addition. (I would LOVE and FLIP OUT and probably ROFLMAO if Sienna decided to rape a monster and/or npc)

I know about the statue room. I've just haven't bothered fixing that yet because I've completely neglected that room for a long time. xP

Hopefully I can get the new sex/bribery system done soon so I can fix up that room, add on to the game, etc..

Having difficulty with some of the larger sprites like the plant monster. I think I will re-use the older animations but try to improve on them a little. At least I have learned my lesson and won't be using anymore larger monsters in the future. >.<

So far I have the Abyss rats converted to kobolds and functional. Also the bandits, green slimes, and ochre slimes. I redid the golem sex sprites (so much easier than the plant), but haven't fixed up his eventing yet.

Still need to redo all 3 crypts monsters sex sprites and eventing. Those should be easy. Also need to do the 3 large vinery monsters (will be the most challenging). And then there's the lizardmen from the mines. I might even add sex for the red slimes.

There's also the lurkers' sex animations. I might just leave them as-is because those things are hard to do much with (graphically). xP

New update is nice. Only problem I have is that sex scenes are Looonnngggg. 20-35 seconds would be better or you could make it last as long as we don't press the interact key or go through all the text boxes. Is the sex bribery system only oral right now cause that's all I ever get. And I like the new icons in game. Rats look so much better too.

A little side thing that I think would be a nice addition would be a prostitution system but it will only work if shes drunk or has high libido. You dont have to add any npcs, you could make them any of the monsters in the different areas. (You could even make the guy you consent with the one you get jobs from)

I do plan on shortening the sex scenes, though I might do this via preferences or an item or something (an item to make it shorter, another for longer, etc..). Or possibly making it random each time, as well as depending on Sienna's current lubrication (and how much semen is in said orifice).

With the oral you're either very unlucky or lucky, depending on how you look at it. There is only a 20% chance of oral but it is possible (however slightly) to keep getting it.
If you continue to have the problem then please let me know which monster type (location would be nice as well) it is and I will look more closely into it.

I probably won't be adding prostitution using this system. It would only even be an option with humanoids and those tend to be quite poor. But maybe with some that have money. Who knows?...
I have considered having a place of prostitution later on in the game but I haven't really decided fully on that yet.

A small fix is uploaded to fix an issue with Sienna being stuck in an "afterglow" position. Here is the link and it is also in the OP.

I'd just like to ask if there is currently a way to reliably get certain kinds of food. I remember last time playing it I kind of got "stuck" in raising the children because I had eaten all or my oranges long before learning that you needed them specifically to raise one of the kids, and was since then unable to really get any (random food at the bar wasn't helping much)

I'm really liking the gathering system, and the fact that you need to pay attention to certain aspects of the game that are not immediately obvious (such as wand recharging) The boss fight mechanic is also a welcome change, though some fights feel a bit too reliant on trial and error (you can't evade a move unless you knew it was coming and were in the right position to deal with it, which is fairly prominent in the fire mage fight) and in some cases can drag on a bit too long (the skeleton boss takes a bit too long and occasionally missed the trigger on activating all the fires) but all in all I really like where you're going with this.

The guy selling food at Kendra's palace actually sells a specific food. He just changes it depending on the time of day.

After you defeat Fulvous you can use the acid tool to get into The Undergarden, which has six cornucopia plants. They don't respawn but each will give 4 random (apple, orange, or grapes) fruits.

I might add a merchant that sells specific food, but I'm not sure on the price.

I've been planning on handling this a different way though. I'll make a note to prioritize letting her children eat different foods.

I was hoping maybe something like planting a fruit tree, the balance would be that since it's underground it needs tending (water and some sort of magic?) and the seeds can be distilled from the original fruit using some kind of advanced alchemy. This would make it not too cheap and easily available, while ultimately paying off in terms of resource management, providing you with a reliable source of food for your children, if you're willing to commit the time to managing the trees.

You could even add some long-term upgrades where the merchant will sell you pieces of equipment that help automate some of the steps involved in tending the trees (pump, pipes etc to create a sort of irrigation system) Or it could possibly be something for your daughters to be tasked with.

Either way, simply having a vendor that reliably sells a kind of food would detract from the atmosphere I feel, the current method maintains the kind of "take what you can get" feeling and already feels kind of cheap as it is.

*edit* on a side note, I actually like the idea of having her children prefer a certain kind of food, variety would make raising them a bit easier but maybe add some benefit to providing your children with the kind of food they enjoy the most to encourage actually taking care of the children rather than maybe dumping whatever food items you have left over on them.
