Anything new or just some bugfixes?
Are savegames really not compatible with newer versions? I've only started playing the game pretty recently

Almost system-messages has english-version.
Almost important NPC's messages has english-version for gaming.
When you can play the memory "- Dawn -", can enter to added dungeon from "The Windbreak"。
"- Thurst -" (a sexial memory) is available (only japanese-texts).
Added(about gaming)。

Adjust balance about sexual damage.
You can get lycanthrope in sexual act with lycanthropy.
Stocking is available equipment always.
Vibrators works longer.
You can resist to ecstasy by endurance (an attribute) and sexual progress.

There's a mismatch between the Japanese and English patch readme information.

I'll wait for more stability before playing, but I'm liking the changes to the Impulse rifle. Now it's not so useless at long-range without any elemental essences.

According to the DLsite page, a memory was implemented. And then I guess all the patches that were for the 9/23 version are built into the 10/5 version.
I'm still on the 6/11 version, as I'm just waiting for Rabbit to update the English release (as I was unfortunately only able to buy from English DLsite at the time).

You gave give sacrifice to the doctor, and you can find him in the hut wile in the Last Dungeon
The witch doctor is evil >< But thanks for the heads-up, it was pretty painful going all the way to the priest, though safer.

Impulse/Vanguard/Scatter Bullet comparison

Accuracy decrease for shotgun bullet, the decrease is pretty big too, -3% per square. (21% at 7 range) Shotgun bullet spread now applies to impulse bullet, due to reduction of damage reduction/range, it's now worth trying out.

Impulse now officially have a 7 range width aoe attack, which is 2 wider than vanguard, (or 1 considering force launcher's splash) Normal attack wise however, vanguard lancer is still better by far due to penetrating attack, force launcher is still better due to 1 square all directional splash.

Impulse on the other hand has 3 slots, 20% dex dependence for damage (so most of it will be from your weapon itself) and is a very nice way to apply status alignments. 3 Slot Impulse can be setup to have 70% Knock Back (default), 18% confusion, 24% paralysis, 24% darkness - and whatever else you can come up with

AOE damage using Vanguard (dependent on stats), status alignment using impulse (independent of status)

To each his own, but I'm an impulse user and the changes are great for me since I no longer have to level the damn thing to minimum +10 before it actually starts to noticeably damage stuff at long range.

Where did it say the attack range for Impulse changed? Or did you actually try out the weapon yourself to confirm? The patch notes are a bit vague in this respect.

More like they talk about two completely different versions as already mentioned by DragonPaladin.

Save time next time by copying the Japanese version only, the English version hasn't been updated for months and all of the new stuff is in Japanese.

But, all gears must be +10 before being used. Including your garter-belt and Alice-head band xD
Extreme Super Makai is the new world, since I still get raped in there depending on floor debuff. That extreme mode adds a single mechanic change for most enemies, and it's really noticeable for some. (Black Goat now goes invisible like phantoms, Initiative now does a 30~40 burn fire dot, etc )

Yup impulse changes are great, especially if you used it previously (lucky Harley, why they no buff Vanguard?), please note that I did not say a range change, I said a width change. It's still a range of 4, but now it's 4x7 (5+2 due to scatter bullet) rectangle instead. Impulse -> After update:
Damage reduction per range 100 75 50 25 -> Damage reduction per range 100 85 70 55
Effectively, you have double the damage at a range of 4.

It was a courtesy to whoever could be bothered to copy the update information, since as you said the English version isn't very helpful.

Last I remembered, shotgun shells didn't change the area of effect for the Impulse. I'll wait and then get my old save up to see for myself.

Part of the patch note Harley, but yes, do try it out to make sure. 7 range width will be awesome if you can block the entrance to a big room.

Well, all these changes are cool and all, but what I really liked is that he actually worked on the performance in new version. I mean, elemental effect from Vanguard lancer doesn't take a dozen of seconds in a big room, but is carried out instantly.

Ugh. Really wish I read Japanese. More advanced parts of the crafting and stats systems are a bit too detailed to figure out from engrish. I'm still not really sure what the special attributes of some the weapons/armor do either. For example, I know the Power Charge from the Diabolic Bondage gives you ~2% Vitality when you are bound/captured, but I'm not really sure what the Nipple Pincher thing does. Also, is there any practical use to the vibrator underwear? At least they sell for a lot?

Just picked up some Divine Ink from one of the dead summoning portals in the endgame dungeon. I've been able to kill the summoning portal in two ways:
#1 - Two purifying scrolls did enough damage to kill it (it dropped some garbage lvl1 essence), and
#2 - It died automatically when I rescued the "sacrifice" girl. This might mean there's always a girl to be rescued whenever there's a portal on the same level? This time it dropped the Divine Ink, and a 3x random essence (all 3 garbage again).

The ink has no real description, but it seems to be able to transplant essences or attributes from one item to another? I'm not really sure how to use it.

Some other discoveries/theories:
Theory - Level 12 of "Erotion" seems to always be the giant open plains monster brawl. I wasn't paying attention the first few times i got to level 12, but the past 3 times in a row, my Erotion lvl 12 has been one of those.
Theory - not tested, but I'm pretty sure you can use the "collection box" item to send the sacrifice to your iron chest for an easier level clear after you get her. I was able to put her in the normal brown chest with no ill effects. (You can take the sacrifice to either the doctor or the priest). Also, I've found her as early as Erotion lvl 2.
Theory - the rest area with the doctor in it is more likely to show up on the level after a girl is present. I haven't tested this enough to see for sure (was too scared to go through a doorway a couple of times when i had the girl, and had low durability on all items, so i used the lamppost shrine). But it did happen to me twice in a row; pick up girl, go through doorway, and it was rest area with priest. Also, the rest area doesn't seem to be titled? I've gone through "abandoned village" and "abandoned fort" doors, and sometimes it was the rest area, but most of the time it wasn't. I -think- i even went through a swamp doorway once and it turned out to be the rest area. I could be wrong on that though, but it seems to be somewhat random?

:3 Vanguard Lancer normal attack does over 100~120 now (with scatter bullet no less) I can spam it without dawn-star randomly killing me for no reason.

Maiden-wear update. (Or maid uniform)
For every slot free, you get a 50% bonus. There's bugs concerning anything not stats up, but this bonus is real.
For example, Dex 2 = +6 dex. With 1 slot free, you get +9 dex, with 2 slots free, you get +12 dex. It's a pretty impressive boost if you can bump something like Dex 3 red essence with 2 free slot to +30.

Also, I read up on the jp wiki, apparently the perfect all range melee weapon is:
Serpent Fang +30, 3 Slots [Lightning 3, Anti-Spirit 2, Anti-Undead 2]

Nice, thanks. I still haven't really figured out the whole plasma/silver/elemental attribute system yet. Good info on the maiden wear too. I was wondering how that worked.
The "Dragon Fang?" I don't think I've seen that weapon before. Is that a crafted-only weapon?
Also, the inscription thing makes sense with the Divine Ink, but the Divine Ink let me do other weird crafting stuff too, like turn my granite blade into a longsword. Maybe just a bug?

Edited my above post with some extra info.

As far as the demonic portal goes, I'm almost 100% certain it's "natural dissapearance" skill has to do with the sacrifice girl. Two times in a row now, the -instant- that I rescue the girl, the portal has died and dropped its gear (you'll see the "xxxx has dropped to the ground" message after rescuing her, even from screens away).

Right, finally some free time to mess around with the latest version.

I'm annoyed that previous treatments for beast illness and futanari don't unlock the memories, I actually need to get hammered by the bosses AGAIN to get the memories out.

Those towers are a bitch, but that chaos ooze is a real pain. Good thing judgement scrolls actually finish it off since I found NONE of my weapons could do any damage whatsoever.

No ink or fancy descriptions yet, as far as I can tell I'm playing normal mode in the forest so the good stuff remains locked.

Granite -> Longsword with divine ink is not a bug. It's treated like an essence for crafting purpose. All essence does the same thing.

Possible, but it's not the only reason. I encountered it myself and outlasted it despite it spewing out monsters like crazy. (Though that was like balancing on a pin with my build)
otoh, it's very possible that it's also triggered by the sacrifice. That will make pretty interesting gameplay.

You need a plasma weapon without elemental essence on it. In other words anything with an element doesn't do damage to it. If none of your weapon are doing damage, just mean all your weapons are either enchanted with Elem 3, or has a sub element. (Read my previous post, I once had the same problem. Then I enchanted my Burial +30 with silver and everything melted)

I've read the wiki, there is a simpler way to get rid of the ooze and it involves using wands which deal damage. Apparently the wand of ashes is very cost-effective. Since my playstyle involves at least one elemental 3 essence attached to my weapons, I'm basically stuck since the creator has made this dungeon specifically to reward players who enchant their weapons according to monster type. Worse-case scenario, I equip a plasma weapon and backflip the ooze to death.

As for the ooze, it will disappear of its own accord OR if the sacrificial offering is rescued. The former you can check from the enemy property page after you beat one ooze the first time, the latter is based on the report from the wiki. If you see an ooze, then it's definite that there's a sacrificial offering somewhere else on the same level.

Don't piss around with the ooze. Apparently the monsters it can summon go up to boss-level, so theoretically taking on four or all five boss monsters in the same room is possible.

Normal mode in the all-stars dungeon is already painful enough unless you came in with lots of scrolls and wands, I can't imagine how tough extreme mode is. I know I can toggle it when I'm still at the cliff safe area, but my gear is still not quite up to +30 to everything just yet so I'll wade around to get used to the debuffs before going in full throttle.

I walked into the last dungeon with Extreme Super Makai mode while wearing +15/+25 gears. Was attempting to raise the level of my 3 slot maiden-wear and demon's unders.

... It was somewhat brutal x|

Anyways, I am farming out Alternative's sealing essence atm, so it will be a while before I come back with my stray cat and likely then +30 Vanguard. +25 Vanguard is pretty sheep though. As in you fire, all your enemies baaa. That penetration on the lancer is unique and very abusable when stacked with scatter bullets.

How's the aim on the shotgun shells? If I understand it right, the spread means not everyone gets hit as intended.

After turning on extreme mode, the barrier forest now yields me ink when I find the sacrificial offering.

The maps are easier if you somehow find a map scroll or trigger the lantern trap.

I can confirm that the headless count will pop up regardless of what stage you're in.

Extreme Mode really does churn up some very surprising special abilities. Just as well my safety first build deals just enough damage at present to get by.
