just playing against the second boss, is he supposed to be able to continuously spawn more spiders? after a while the stage was about 2 spiders deep :/

Haha oh wow, yeah he's supposed to spawn spiders, and more and more keep coming the lower in health he gets. I guess I should put a cap on how many can be spawned at once (since if you don't finish him off when he's at low health then yeah you'll be swarmed).

I won't worry about updating that right away, but that should be changed whenever I release the next update.

Just bought the game, love all the work you put in to it. Can't wait to see what is past the demo.
I was among the people raging in frustration during the problems with wall jumping but glad it all worked out.

Well if you'd like to skip past the boss for now, you can edit your save file and change the second number from the bottom to a "1". That's the variable for whether or not the spider boss has been defeated.

Yeah there are two per boss (the second one is unlocked on "hard" or higher) and the rest are pretty much one per enemy. Two of the sets have 7 pics each, so they are rather common

And yeah I didn't really think about that, would it be better if they despawned when he dies? That might be better...

when going down the routes to get the last two macguffins to fight the last boss, is the screen meant to go completely dark? it sorta makes the walljumping parts a tad more difficult.

Yes, there's an enemy that darkens your screen unless you're near him, so you need to take him out before continuing

So I basically steamed through the game again, skipped the 2nd boss because of mass of spiders and haven't beat the final yet.

But I seem to be having trouble getting the boss CG's
I've been going through and collecting the rest of them but can't seem to get the ones from bosses, yes I am altering the save so I can fight the bosses again.

I've also been losing my collected CGs when i restart the game for some reason, this was before I started editing the save.

I can't find my save file, is it Data.win? whevener I open that up in notepad it tries to load for a while, then stops responding.

Man, I am not thrilled by this. Who knows how many sales I might be losing because of this? I know most people might come back later and get the game, but some might not. It sucks that PayPal is kinda crappy sometimes when it's so proliferated that it's hard not to use.

It should be in the AppData for the game, the same place you put the license file. Should be called "NYsave.txt". The "Data.win" file is something Gamemaker uses, I suppose.

Very strange... Perhaps try deleting the current NYcg file (backing it up if you don't want to lose those unlocks, naturally) and have the game remake the file?
