So my solution was change my computers language local to japanese written like 日本語 if it's in japanese which i don't think it is. Then for good measure i extracted one of my versions of the game again and ran it.
Both the post and pre local extracted files worked; this suggest that you will have the change your language localization.

So i was having this problem. I have one version of the game that says 1.0 on the title bar, and another that says 1.4 on the zip file. both were crashing.
I was running this just normally, and with chitrans + appLoca; both would throwing a error up. I have the stand alone appLoacal but i don't think i tried just that.
I'm using windows 8, 64 bit, 8 gigs ram, 500GB+ HD space and a I7 CPU; I also have the japanese IME installed allowing me to write in japanese; for those who care about my system stats.
I did rename the folders before i changed localization to see if that fixed the problem, which it did not.

Not much as far as I can tell. According to all available info, seems to be mainly bugfixes... if my google-fu is to be believed. You could try running the notepads through a translator. I'm currently on a system that doesn't support JP.

Quick note: if it ever goes down, and there's no newer version, let me know.
You and me both, bgn. I'd love to see this trans'd. The problem, as I see it, is LiveMaker itself. It seems to be notoriously tricky to do. More so than RPG Maker.

Actually, if I remember right Tempest Strike (テンペスト) is the skill that you can absorb from the final boss, should he rape you. It's pretty unlikely he will though, as he tends to just do regular attacks.

What? It isn't rare at all.
Granted, I beat him with the "Queen" class. Maybe the sex-classes increase the chances that he rapes you during the battle... on New Game+, its really really easy to just own the entire game by using those two skills.
