Already tried 50/5 lots of time but no Charlotte, I'm in bad luck now (additional 2 run at 70/8 and get no magic crystal)
Dammit! Seems I need to do 30/2 first and complete it

Question. Does anyone get Charlotte at 50/5 without doing 30/2 (anyone beside exhale)

I just realized this is like 4 different events at once w/ charlotte and lian added they are putting in work to get our crystals.

Ended up dropping the Ricardo for Charlotte on my third run. Not sure if I was lucky or rates aren't that bad.

What do I actually do with Ricardo anyway? Charlotte is probably better being platinum and all.

do you need to deploy lian for the -30% cd? if not im only farming 1 of her shes worthless in battle

If this answer will help you then...
I dont have any single Charlotte copy at all and i havent got the completion from 30/2
But on my 1st 2 run on map 50/5 i got charlotte on both (don't ask about 3rd++ run)

This just my own opinion if you wanna know about what i think about charlotte.
The 1st part is her skill CT on deploy is quite fast, this allowed me easier on the planing when i need her magic atk of coz the bad part of this is the duration also low and lving that 1/10 skill kinda of a big pain honestly
Next is her aw ability *pursuit* which 20% allowed her to do double atk, this actualy quite nice and since a magic atk (when skill up) dmg reduced by MR is by %, a multiple low magic atk doesn't matter much well compared with the other event magic fencer which slower aspd but more power house / hit making it much better during physical atk (specialy reduction from ranged atk)
+ lastly she looks cuter to me :p

Cute is indeed an important factor. What I find a bit questionable about her is her 5 sec skill. It seems a little useless unless leveled up but without it she barely gets to use magic. To level it up do I actually need to go find multiple copies of Charlotte? Though there's the event up and all, really sounds like a pain and I'm not sure if I want to bother with that assuming it's even possible for me.

And I don't get what you meant during the physical attack, is she supposed to be better than other magic fencers during physical attack or worse? If she's better then I guess it makes sense why her skill duration is so low, making up for better physical capabilities with less magical.

Alien Territory 3-star Strategies:

(Requires a team incapable of transitioning Maou into aura-mode until Eden paralyses him.)

(Requires Princess Claudia that can take a hit from an oni, an Angel to slay blue oni, and True Dragon Warrior Anya with Dragonslaying Sword Ascalon [Defence] to slay Maou with as many melee support units as possible.)

Charlotte, like most event units, isn't particularly good at skill 1/10 or full cost, so you need to feed her multiple copies of herself. The exceptions to this are very few (i.e. Belinda is as good as a premium summon unit, Corinne has a skill that doesn't benefit from skill-ups, Odette's skill is just a utility one that you aren't going to use on all maps, and so on).

A while back they rebalanced the magic fencer class by reducing their cost from 25 to 20 while lowering their stats drastically. The one that suffered from this the most was Charlotte; she used to have HP and DEF as high as a well-leveled Prince that she was a pretty good character to have in your front lines. Now, she's so fragile that the kinds of situations she can help you with are far more limited (i.e. tanking black goblin archers, and retaliating with her ranged attacks that can't be nullified). I had to awaken my Charlotte and raise her to AW61 so her stats were the same back when she was CC70 before the magic fencer rebalance. Hores and Sabine were hit hard (though, I'm pretty sure this rebalance was to make Sabine easier to use since her skill had a long WT), but their affection bonus is HP, so they're both still decent for dealing with magical enemies unlike Charlotte who you have to watch like a hawk.

Charlotte's low skill duration is there for situations like where you need her to constantly switch back to her physical attack (i.e. having her kill a scorpion with high defence, and then going back to physical so she can hurt certain demons with high magic resistance).

The Silver Magic Fencer Ricardo has the same skill as Sabine, so he's pretty much Sabine food (and materials for other magic fencers). The main thing he has going for him is that he's one of the few melee male units that can deal magic damage, so a lot of players actually raise him so they can have an easier time with male-only maps.

I see, thanks for the information. Used her for a bit, she indeed seems pretty frail but is still somewhat useful because I don't have any ninjas or anything along those lines yet so no one can really replace her in her role. I suppose even if I miss the event I could probably still get her skill up with fairies, though it'd probably be a lot harsher of a road.

Trying to figure out who should be in the upper left corner in the 100/2 map to deal with all the skeleton and goblins. You guys think nonAW Miranda or Maribel can deal with them? Or what about a lvl30 CC Nagi? I see people use her but mine isn't AW yet.

I tried the second video Petite listed and I'm unable to match the damage output of AW Noel and AW Mehlis since I'm using a CC60 Mehlis and CC70 Marius. I didn't use a witch as shown in the video, so it may have contributed to the loss in damage over time, but I still believe I won't be able to match the damage AW Mehlis does compared to mine. I'll settle with 2-star and stick with a total of 29 stars total. Even if I continue to do more attempts, Jelius is unable to tank this map's Maou at all since he'll die once he blocks three of them. The shadows of Maou have about 40% health remaining by the time they reach Jelius as well, so it's impossible for me to continue without some level-ups for Mehlis.

After 4 attempts, I finally got 3-stars on Alien Territory:


1st Attempt: Noel and Mehlis popped Maou's aura prematurely.
2nd Attempt: Deployed Anya on the wrong spot due to game lag.
3rd Attempt: Failed to activate Anya's skill when Maou reached her due to lag again, which led to Anya becoming Panyake...

I used a AW42 Sedis with a skill of 4/5, and a CC80 Liana. My MVPs were my AW31 Sailor Elite Marie, CC62 Ninja Master Nagi, AW61 Rune Lord Charlotte, and AW40 Chounin Hina. EDIT: Also, an AW49 4/5 Spica was enough to help the Prince clear the left lane despite her needing an extra arrow to kill some of the enemies (that lane is not difficult at all).

@exkale:
Aesir and Plusx used Eden to destroy Maou (if there's going to be any kind of Monme-quality gold~ strategy, it's going to involve Eden I think). Maou deals enough damage that Anya—even as a Dragon Princess—receives less damage than a maxed out Gigant Armour Jelius or Berenice (Anya is strong). Considering that you have Olivia, you probably should use one of theirs if you happen to have similar kinds of units.



Aesir focuses on weakening the two goon shadows with Imelia, and Lucille, so they perish extra early.

Toumasu has a serialisation in Monthly Comic Alive called 'Gion no Tsugai' (ギオンのツガイ; ). Also, this fanbook contains rough illustrations by the original illustrators and an original short comic. The serial code is most likely a unique one, so you will only get a single unit per code that can't be shared with anyone else afterward.
any idea what kind of unit do we get?

Fed 3 Charlottes and neither CD nor skill went up

On the other hand I did get a plat can from one of the lazer cyclops

I gave Aesir's strategy 2 attempts and I'm liking it better than the previous one I tried even though the Maou got through twice. The inclusion of the shaman really makes a difference and I have to do things correctly or I'll fail because I don't have Kagura to use at all.

In my first attempt, I forgot to add Eln so one of the 2 blue cyclops went rampant on my ranged units. In my second attempt, I activated Eln's skill when a red cyclops got near. Whoops. I should've studied the video better since it should've been activated when the blue cyclops got near.

Now the final part is going to be the most tricky. In my two attempts, I have to replace the witch (in Kagura's position) so she can heal Imelia. I'll lose some damage against the left shadow and Maou prime. I can't use Waltz (~30s WT is too long) and Nagi is out of range to hit Maou prime. I would have to time the retreat of Eden and the deployment of Olivia correctly to ensure I can make use of every second of their skills otherwise I'll lack the damage.

Well, this is the only time I regret not picking up Karma because she could've filled the dancer spot and serve as the third ganker. I'll have to think about this mission later and see how I can approach it with this strategy or another. If I were to deviate a bit from Aesir's strategy, then I would probably try using Marie instead of Imelia. I'll be worried about the damage Maou prime will take if I do use Marie.

Edit:
Third attempt was a lot smoother. Imelia died early because I forgot to put a healer at a specific time. I also activated Eln's skill two seconds too early, which resulted in both blue cyclops walking past with 10% HP left. Targeting priority please! Kill the cyclops Mehlis and Marius. :(

I ended the map with 2 enemies escaping, which is progress. One was the shadow Maou and one was Maou prime.

Gold is now my favorite, getting black and platinum to max lvl for aw is a pain times two
