Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Anyone know how all the gold bonus modifiers stack (multiplicative or additive, clear bonus, Gold Get gold)? When I get the chance to awaken Mia, I want to get the Gold Bonus buff from the shop and try to farm for gold with excess charisma since I've been gold-starved for weeks now and I can't solely rely on the Monday daily. I want to get an idea of how much of a difference in gold I'm getting since I would like to get as much use out of the buff as I can.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Looking at the fine print below the divine intervention buff on the banner, it looks like Fedora may be the first completion reward (new players below rank 10 have to clear it before they get the free buffs).

@Anelai:
I'm tentatively going for 50 sacred crystals this month. I might go over it if the Gold Rush has other gimmicks alongside it like a 1.5x drop bonus for the AW Orb maps or whatever like they did last time. There's no unique chance-up unit, so there's a small chance they might do a gold+ female unit chance up and 3x synthesis bonus.

@exkale:
The 1.5x 3-star Bonus, Shop Bonus, and Mia/Noel's AW Abilities are appied after the Gold Get gold is added to the map's base. So let's say the base is 500 and you castrated four enemy goblins and sold their left nuts as counterfeit copies of the living saint's nuts that are in high demand, you'll have 900 as a base before all the multipliers are applied to it.

Because of Gold Get, my Betty and Maurette can turn challenge quest maps like Low Cost Battle into a lucrative place to stage your military compaign that would make any Jewish General proud according to Chinese Business 101 writers.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

I already reached silver stamp two days ago or smth like that, I have nice number of joker fairies waiting for I am not sure what D: Kaguya is ready to AW (except silvers, I used them for something else). My Maurette needs just 9 gold fairies and 3 cans to be ready for AW. Elsa is ready to AW but I need silver mages... Sedis is ready to AW but I need SUPRISE silver mages ;/ Belinda needs 10 more lvls to AW and.. silver mages -.-
and of course: Ricca is ready to AW, I wonder what I need for her. I assume fencers, I have 2 silver ones waiting. Maybe valkiries? Got plenty. I really HOPE she doesn't need mages _^_''

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Thanks! I was a bit worried about the value of it, but it looks like it's going to be a significant increase in gold for me. Now I can look forward to awakening Saki and Anya since both their skills got to 5/5 this week. Those two girls are going to eat the Prince's wallet, but it should be worth it. I just need to make sure I get every worth out of that buff since it's 1.2mil gold I'm farming for. 2.5425x Gold

Maurette has been my favorite unit to use recently and it's why she overtook my other units very fast. In Rural Gate, I only have to deploy her and then go to another tab. No longer do I have to deploy the prince since she can one-shot the goblins without his buff.

I've never thought of using Low Cost Battle as farming grounds since it's rare for me to go there. It's a good idea, but I probably won't find the time to try it.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

15 copies would cost you around 33+21 crystals, which is insignificant to the amount you could spend on premium summoning. Though, it's still a trap, so I would just farm the event normally and keep whatever platinum units they throw your way until a proper revival (the amount of crystals you would need to spend is even more insignificant compared to rolling for Kikyou).
Thanks for putting things into perspective (I was also thinking along the lines of focusing on Gold unit completion and just taking whatever platinum unit drops I can with natural recovery :)

I also learned from last Gold Rush that the problem with some of these plat units (ie Emilia) is that they need max/near max skill + cost reduction to be effective, so half-assed farming for them isn't going to work (looking at my 4 Fran, & 4 Elza copies sitting in Rita-chan's house collecting dust -.-) - and as you pointed out, getting maxed out plat unit with this drop rate takes a lot of crystals (which does feel like a trap).

(Still remember nightmare of someone on live Niconico broadcast for last last Gold Rush fail to min-cost Momiji after spending 109 or so crystals >.<)

mage armors are godsends but I hope we get the sapphire machinist and with a 5/5 skill instead of 10 so I dont have to bother with low drop rates for ricca.
That's exactly what I thinking too - since Ricca is 10 skill, I was thinking of just using the sapphire machinist from the upcoming Niconico broadcast instead. Hopefully they do a proper revival for her (and Chloe) sometime in the future >.<

By the way, any thoughts on Shiho/shamans in general for those who have them? Are they needed/good to have around?

Was looking at unit stats and figured that if I were to farm any plat units with any leftover char/stam after gold unit comp., it'll probably be Shiho or Emilia since they only have 5/5 skill.

I already have 3 witches (+ Gold witch Yuyu that I haven't even raised yet) + 3 healers & Marl, so not sure where a Shaman would fit in.

(or maybe I should just grab as many copies of Ricca as possible and wait to fuse her with more copies from later revivals/gold rush? lol)

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

My luck is playing trick on me -.-
So i was hoping i got my 1500 ore mark just now but instead i only got 15..... (90/12 map)
so now i'm 19 ore short... (if the next try only got 18 ore i'm screming)

As for gold rush, i don't know about platinum my mind still thinking whether i'm able to get all the gold completion 1st.
And before even that i should go focus on the unit i want 1st for completion, as for how many SC spend for this.... i'm thinking i should spend as few possble and start saving them again for future event.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

I had been killing the golem on the 90/12 map early each time. I knew it couldn't be Saki, since her skill always runs out...

Then I realized Mikoto + Her tokens were vengeful angry doom machines for killing high HP monsters that dont like music changes...

My Thoughts on the Gold Rush:

Mage Armor: I will place you right next to my other sort of useful Loli, Dorthy. You both so cute!
Gold Archer Man: Yay! AW Material!
Carrie: I love you for how much I dont love you...
Betty: I will reduce more of your cost! some day I might even AW you!
Samurai: Yay! AW Material!
Schoolgirl: i can cost reduce you too! Yay reductions!
Fedora: Reductions from the department of redundancy department.

Ricca: YOU. WILL. BE. MINE! *Fist pound Matsuri*
[Vowel goes here]melia: I will max reduce your cute, sexy body into...uh...something that sounds poetic!!
Chloe: You really dont appeal to me...but I prolly wont be getting the Black Rarity angel any time soon...
Alchemist: but I already maxed you...
Rita-chan: I've actually been using you a bit, recently as a tactical insurgent. too bad your synth f***ing hated me...Lets see if we can get you reduced and skilled, cutie!
Shiho: I got so many healers im working on and...I want to get you for the sake of getting you, but....PUT SOME DAMN CLOTHES ON! Gosh!! ...Go stand next to Dina and Chloe in Loli Time-Out!
Rorone: ....yeah...you...=/

Upon posting this, I am at 1500 Mithril ore. I think I'll save myself a shine-rock or two and not go for 1600, since 10 levels shouldn't be TOOOO hard....right?

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

By the way, any thoughts on Shiho/shamans in general for those who have them? Are they needed/good to have around?

I already have 3 witches (+ Gold witch Yuyu that I haven't even raised yet) + 3 healers & Marl, so not sure where a Shaman would fit in.
Shaman are technical units, so you have to figure out where they're useful. Most people prefer to formulate strategies that don't require them, since they're difficult to use for blind runs and require that you spend more time trying to calculate their skill duration and CT so they won't cause problems for you (i.e. Shiho's skill deactivates when you needed it to run for a few more seconds, etc.).

As a healer, the Platinum Shaman Shiho is peerless in her healing potential along with the Platinum Healer Saria who is much more expensive to deploy than a cost-reduced Shiho. It's not just a close victory for these two; it's like comparing a professional athlete to a middle school one. Shiho can single-handedly outheal the lich trio and dragons from Undead Monsters after she's awakened and sufficiently skilled-up with something like a Pegasus Knight (e.g. Ridy) as the focus of her doting love. If you have two copies of Shiho or Saria and an AW Rear Tactician, you can alternate between the two Shihos for nonstop healing with their skills.

Recovery Strength Per Second:
CC Shiho: 402*1.8*30/66=329
CC Kagura: 383*1*30/36=319
CC Camilla: 505*1.8*30/82=333

AW Shiho: 481*1.8*30/59=440
AW Saria: 607*1*30/42=433
AW Kikyou: 594*1.6*30/66=432 (AW Skill!)
AW Kagura: 456*1*30/36=380
AW Camilla: 572*1.8*30/82=377

The other Platinum Shaman Kagura's AW ability increases all of your melee units' attack by 1.05x just by being on the team, so Kagura is probably more useful to have around than Shiho, though I can only say that with more certainty if you were around to have a mincost and skill-max Kagura during her original star trial event. Kagura is going to be a pain to raise up to a level beyond where she's nothing more than a moral support unit for new players during her revival.

The Black Shaman Kikyou's AW Ability increases the attack of everyone by 1.07x by being on the team, and her skill allows her to switch between attack or healing, so she has no problem with her skill wearing off at an inopportune moment (I haven't done any calculations of Kikyou's healing dps, but I don't think it's as high as Shiho or Kagura, just respectable).

EDIT:
Skill AW Kikyou is pretty strong (Non AW Skill Kikyou is just 270dps), though her long CT after the second use (35) isn't a match for Shiho's CT (she has 4~ seconds of dead space if you were to try an alternating strategy with two copies of her with an AW Rear Tactician). She does do a lot of damage with her magic, which is the same dps as her healing, though.

Looking at how strong Kikyou becomes with her AW Skill makes me wonder how broken Shiho or Kagura could become. Then again, they could get a lame AW Skill like Maribelle's...

Oh I just remembered. Being excited about platinums is nice and all but of the platinums being released, who's actually the most notable platinum for someone who has none of them? Though I'm definitely going to get a copy or two of Chloe/Rita, I don't know about the rest since if the rates are 5%, I imagine it's not actually that easy to drop everyone you want and possibly multiple copies of it to CR/skill up them.

Thanks again Petite for your detailed response! They're always so helpful :D

And wow, didn't know AW Shiho's such a beast when it comes to healing. Since I don't have a shaman yet (and shaman class sounds fun to have around), guess I'll focus on Shiho if I have any leftover char/stam from getting the gold units I want (inb4 they add 1.5x drop rates to dailies/orbs, ruining my plans >v<)

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

@theshadowm:

Platinum Alchemist Corinne
You only need one copy of her, since her skill is good at 1/5. The only reason to skill her up is if you are anticipating that she'll gain something good when it comes time for her Skill AW, or you want to feed her to Barbastraff or Cyrus to raise their skills for the same thing. Corinne temporarily halves the defence of any enemies hit by her attack, so she can soften up moderately tanky enemies for your other units and the debuff stacks with Vampire Lord Eden's paralysis.

Platinum Puppeteer Ricca:
Before all of these melee support black units started appearing, Ricca was without a doubt the single strongest character in the game. By strongest, I mean you could theoretically 3-star the most maps with a team composed of nothing but her. She has auto-regen when she isn't attacking anything, her range with her skill is the same as the Platinum Dragon Rider Erenia, and her skill turns her into a zero block unit so she can let dangerous enemies walk by her. At cost 22 and skill 1/10, Ricca is still serviceable as one of the strongest physical interceptor units in the game. She's extremely useful for enemies that an Immortal Queen Karma isn't suitable against (magically resistant demons).

The fact that Ricca is going to get an awakening in the next update makes her even more valuable. You can take her along for the Skill AW Weekend map, have her kick the bejeezus out of Aisha, and then go into gun's gun's gun's mode to decimate Saki and probably Sybilla depending on if Ricca can gank Aisha close enough, but still out of their reach (Ricca's gun has further reach than non-skill AW Saki and Sybilla).

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

@theshadowm
Out of all of them, I would recommend Ricca for sure. She has good stats for ganking, and her skill is really good since it makes her block 0, slightly increases her attack speed, and lets her attack enemies up to 250 range.

If you are lucky enough to get Alchemist Corinne, then keep a copy of her for future use. Being able to reduce an enemy's defense by 50% for a couple seconds is really useful sometimes and you'll never know when you might use her. It's a really niche unit, but I like to bring her out when I understand a mission and I want to kill a boss faster (Maou being an example because of his high HP and defense). The upside about her is that it's not necessary to CC her. I just wouldn't recommend spending SC to farm for her.

Well Petite already told you all u need to know but my opinion differs in 1 point. While it is true tailoring a perfect strategy using shamans to replace healers is hard, they are usually a safety net on blind runs. The trick is using them instead of witches (if cost allows), so if a big enemy or a nasty mage appears out of nowhere, u can press the panic button and let your team survive.

Looking forward for that Ren skill aw... hope this makes her more appealing. I don't get why she wasn't redone yet.. front tacticians are decent to good fighters and Aisha... well.. no comments needed.
She should be a decent support unit and not just a somewhat armored cheer leader...
