You know... I find it kinda interesting that players make rolls before Wolf declares what kind of one is necessary. Or if it's necessary at all.

It saves time and effort on the GM's part to do an anticipatory roll if the player is familiar with the system. If it' so obvious that it doesn't require a roll at all, then ShadowWolf should just describe it ahead of time or ask us to do the roll before he describes the scene - which he has already done.

Yeah, if you guys feel that your character would be trying to apply one of their skills to a situation, go ahead and roll. If there's modifiers that could turn a failed roll into a good one, I'll try to mention it here.

Likely the only rolls I'll actually call for myself will be Initiative rolls, or the San checks like earlier. Not saying I might not do other ones, but those will probably be rare.

For those in QoH, if you intend to breach, please state exactly who is going in first, and what exact measures you are taking. (Ie: are you going in firing? What direction is the person going first covering? etc...)

If you are not breaching, then carry on with whatever plan you would like.

I am currently waiting on the group to resolve its plan for entry into the apartment.

59, rolling for Forbidden Lore (Daemonology) to see if there were any signs of daemonic presence to try to answer the Arbites' question. Unless there are Obvious signs, I think she failed, but ShadowWolf can correct me before I post... will be at least a day before I'm able to.

51, more mediocre rolling but this was for a psyniscience test as Mallia strides away from the chimera, trying to locate some sort of psychic trail.

I'm definitely on a cold streak at the moment with these rolls.

Mallia's still not getting much, although I wouldn't be too surprised if she's suspecting whatever happened to the Chimera's crew is most likely what's screwing with her.

As for the Chimera's weapons:

Turret is Multi-las, Pintle-mount is a Heavy Stubber, and the Front Weapon is a Heavy Flamer. It's also got the Dozer Blade and a Searchlight.

I'm having her explain it as psychic white noise, most likely caused by the traumatic and sadistic death throes of the sororitas and nearby acolytes.

But yeah, I'm thinking in the absence of an actual trail, it might be good to find the nearest shrine to the Emperor.

A couple of notes about my latest post:

Your Tech might be able to try to recover more of the missing footage.

Also, remember that your Inquisitor did mention that the Orders the fallen Sororitas are from are also interested in finding out about their missing members. Sharing that information with them might be a good way to start building a bit of a reputation with other sources of possible support.

Finally, Mallia can try to identify that new psychic contact, and at a bonus.

For those in my game, if you intend to simply ask random citizens about Saul Arbest, you can make an inquiry roll (half your Fellowship value if you don't have the skill). You can spend thrones to increase your chances, gaining +10 for every 5 thrones you spend prior to rolling, up to a maximum of a +30 bonus.

If you want to try and find a specific named NPC to talk to, we'll RP it out.

Zieg, if accompanying Lili to the train station, will need to let me know here if you intend to walk back through the market, or if you will avoid the market and try moving south and around it (may add some time to your trip, but might avoid those enforcers).

Your party is in contact via your micro beads and vox units. The night cycle is approaching, you may wish to consider where you will want to be during the night - if you do not intend to be on the streets, you will have to find a place to stay.

As for my game...

If you intend to report in, bear in mind that you'll likely have to initiate the conversation. You're far from the only cell or Inquisitorial unit on planet, which means that the higher ups on the ship will be more likely to respond to an initiated report, rather than an suddenly opened channel.
