Re: The Question of Heresy OOC

Yeah, in character's thoughts is fine. Or make some comment about it in character. Of course, there could also be things that seem to be hints but aren't.

And I'm probably not going to tell which is which. Gotta keep some secrets.
Hey, noone ever said the magician had to give all the tricks away. :p

Re: The Question of Heresy OOC

Regarding my game, there's been a post by everyone, but no one has indicated where the group is actually going. Blarg's adept is said to be moving forward *somewhere.*

@Blarg - if you want to visit Saul Arbest's habstack, the dataslate suggests that it is located to the north and east of the plaza, directly through the market, although you can bypass the market by going one block out of your way to the east, or you can go north, beyond the archway to the templum, and then head directly east down a narrow laneway.

Just a small note for my game: I've made a slight edit to the contents of the data-slate. It contains enough of a map to get you started.

By the way, what does a micro-bead do? I can't seem to find any description of it.

Micro-bead is a communications device, with a range of about 1km.

Under Tools in the Armory chapter of the core-book.

Drake's pretty sure that he can do it, just needs a little bit more time.

Clear for a re-roll.

60 vs 18, taking the penalty into account. Shit.

We're going to be failing a lot of rolls in this game, aren't we. Gonna have to spring for Jaded trait at some point...

Re: The Question of Heresy OOC

It depends on the WP test for which we have failed our rolls. If it's a fear test, we should be okay. If it's daemonic warp taint, then we could be getting hit with some insanity/corruption points right off the bat.

Meanwhile in Corscala, no Willpower tests necessary for the time being. Is it the group's intention to carry on to their original destination?

Re: The Question of Heresy OOC

The Willpower test I called for is a Fear test. And since it looks like everyone failed by 30 or more, that does mean Insanity Points. Unless someone wants to spend a Fate Point to re-roll.

As for Blue's game... Since I can't seem to get anything to come post-wise, assume Gallus is just going into "follow/tech" mode: He follows the group, and will attempt to do any tech stuff asked of him by the others.

Whether or not I will spend a Fate point depends on how often you are going to call for a new 'session?' I figure in face to face time, it would be roughly once every 3-4 hours of game play, or usually after one major combat or two relatively quick combat encounters.

It would help to know exactly what we're about to be freaked out by as well, because there's a difference between gaining 1 insanity point or 1d5 or 1d10 insanity points...
