I'm afraid I have some bad news for you then:
1.Using the Platinum Armours so early is going to cost you a lot more gold than if you leveled the units to 40-41 and using the Armour to hit 50.
2. Focusing on two Platinum healers so early when you don't even seem to be able to CC them is a bad idea, I'd personally focus on Iris or even a Silver instead.
3. I must've read some of the posts too fast, but the only viable duelists for Monday's daily are Princesses and very specific/extremely high-power ones, Clissa does not fit either of those categories.
4. Given the options, I'd probably use the last Platinum Armour on Soma (at level 40 with 678 XP till next level, it'll bring her to 50 that way), you'll want the range and DPS for Belinda's Event.
1. Generally I'd agree with Plat armors should be used only in that fill gap as they are rare enough to warrant being critical of when they are used. However Dartred also has an "immediate" need to get several units high enough for the event that is starting this week. So I would not say it was a bad choice. With what he had, he would have struggled with the event. That struggle will be less of a burden since the plat was used now. Besides, silvers drop from each map, and if it does last the full 10 days as it originally did, it will be well worth the cost now.
2. I'm iffy on this one, even a plat healer leveled to 50 will perform better then a gold that has been CC'ed. The unit costs are not that far from each other either, so it will depend on the map. These maps didn't seem to be "rush" maps where just massive swarms come in, so the time is there to get those plat healers out.
3. I will disagree with this, my only beef with Clissa is she's costly which is by nature counter intuitive for a Valkyrie as they are by design supposed to help accumulate unit points. The faster they come out the more help they give, so the lower the cost the better. This is further applified in that we only get the normal 50% UC back when they are removed instead of the higher percents that are seen in JP. As an actual duelist, she does well even VS armored opponents, especially once leveled up. (I have 2 of her, but I don't actively use her as I have plats with maximum reduced cost and already CC'ed.)
4. I'd agree with an archer being the better choice for CC, but there is still time to accomplish this. It doesn't take that much to level a single unit to 50 and CC them. The gold cost will run what was earned in to todays daily down, but its still quite viable and doesn't take that long.
@Dartred - Right now your goal should be running maps for units (not even necessarily gold/xp highest ratios) so they can be directly infused into an archer and get them to 50 asap so they can be CC'ed. You will need at least one for the event, and that will open the doors for more units for you to use which only helps in the long run. Followed by Katie and Clissa (IMO). If you have it available use Tower Overwatch (map) as much as you can. This is easily beaten with 2 soldiers, 2 archers, 2 witches, 2 mages, and 2 duelist (or 2ha's, toughest one should be placed on left side of map). This will get you to the much desired level of 64 quickly. I'd skip further Dailies at this point, at least until the event starts Thursday. Use your Stamina for affection gains depending on which maps you can do until Wed, you'll want a full amount for Thursday.
@Rawr1125 - I'd agree, although princesses are preferred vs armor, a good Valk is the next best thing by far. Even Kerry does well in this role when she's all you got.
@Eab1990- Figures right? What you need is the one thing that doesn't drop and seem so rare as to be almost a myth, and what you don't have an immediate need for you get in droves.
@Yeehaws - As to Nanaly, mine do, but then again my are lvl 50CC'ed & 100% affection. They do get a bounced arrow once in awhile, you'll often see one tink out of every other volley when they go into machine gun mode. She is still not ideal vs armors but she can be used for her half cost compared to a mage to at least out put some damage. Though I see no need to place her in my case. Note this is when looking at Mondays Hard daily only, other maps I do not see any missed/deflected arrows anymore.
So I have nothing to feed these plat fairies to.
