She gets +15 Magic resistance which is pretty useless considering her low HP.
I've only ever had on run that gave 6 drops, most give 3-4 I've found, but I've also has my share of single and 2 drops for Hard, which is a bit annoying given the high costs. Had a 2 followed by a 1 drop today, so fairly poor luck today so far.I think it only happened once that I got more than 3 drops, so unless I've been very unlucky (which is likely) ppl that already got 2-3 Chydis must have used like 20-30 crystals on stamina refills.
I have 50cc40 Kerry for the 1st mages and working on my Chydis to get her to 50cc40 + 100% affection for the last map, so i can outheal the last map with Iris + Chydis.doods. its tme to start preparing for the next event

Well, we DO get Kerry as a freebie, and cheapest video of doing this event didn't used anything above lvl30, so I'll take educated guess and say we'll be fine.

probably but I would recommend a valkyrie or princess, there are 3 kinds of dragon mages that i know of, grey robed ones can be handled by a bandit, red robed ones need something with magic resist to handle and the white robed ones do as well the red robed ones dont really need a healer for the unit tanking them but you will need a healer for the white robed ones.

CC'ed witch is more useful than CC'ed mage in my experience. That said, I usually pick whoever I get a silver for out of the 2k gacha.
I'd go with Belinda simply because a witch is often going to be more useful for many maps ( and is required to get past War of Magic ) because of their lesser cost. Magic damage wise they are on par with mages just with out the splash damage. Bosses? A witch wins every time. Vs rush they loose to the mage, but hey cant win em all with just a single unit.
