I think he's a good replacement for your silver archers unless you CC'd them + level them up already.

even if you did he is still a good replacement.
Stray is technically the third best archer in the game. (his AW skill sucks tough)
so take him with care. he could be your best archer since his AW skill makes him a sniper (that with his skill makes him a good unit)

the "real" third best archer is bashira.
because our adorable Spicca is such a broken archer with an awesome AW skill. (she is the second best if you take her AW skill into count)
BTW dont even botter to ask about the best. its obvious who it is

Not sure if you are serious or not considering how much every keeps talking about her and she is on your wish list. Nanaly is the best archer hands down. Pretty sure it was even mentioned way back that she is still one of the best units still yet in the JP version.

next archer is most likely Spicca and we wont have another Plat unit in the post till her. (wich means that she will get a boob buff)
the main reason we wont have any other unit in the TP is because these units were premium special units that were given (both chidys and Spicca were a gift for completing gold rushes) after her was a new class introduced (one wich we dont currently have) she will most likely will be implemented together with the "other gold unit" of the same class introduced during an event.

so...yeah we have a good time before they take out chidys

(thiis statement will be invalid if the decide to "retire" chidys and the 200 crystals unit for Saki and Akane (300 and 150 )

The biggest issue I see while everyone is talking about archers is that they assume everyone has Nanaly and/or a Premium Platinum archer. Spica is the best obtainable archer. See the difference here? Nanaly is definitely the best archer, but not everyone who plays for free has her, making most of this discussion irrelevant to most players.

Whenever people compare units, I believe they should be compared to silver units instead of higher grade units because those are the units most players can compare them to. It's like comparing a Ferrari to a Lamborghini when the majority is using a Toyota.

If you are wondering, I haven't bothered to AW another one. Though thinking about Spika to boost damage.
Rest can be ignored unless you are limiting rarity. (If you are wondering, Rida is a joke unit)

I didn't start the discussion, but was only butting in without reading the whole thing, because I'm lazy to check every post.

Obtaining Nanaly through the 2k gacha is possible, but it's still a pipe dream to the majority. I'm just speaking for those that go through weeks/months of Aegis without seeing a Platinum/Black premium unit they would be happy to have lol.

While I'm fairly certain that the random gatcha rolls hate me for being free-only, (to be fair, I have a couple decent ones: Bashira, Thetis, and now Victoria for another Archer to CC, and my <3 Lilia, though having a CCed Julian with full cost reduction is pretty nice) I just finished the last event mission with 3-stars, and holy jeebus does it feel good. Took some hot-swapping at the end with those bastard mages, but it was the fun kind of challenging: possible with what I had, but hard enough to make me really work for it.

Did it with only two healers, too. All hail Princess Lilia! She can take fireballs to the face like a *champ*.

I feel like these event maps kind of suck for farming for silvers, though, (Belinda wasn't great, per se, but at least there were some when farming her). Does anyone know if any of the maps are worth farming for silvers on, or should I just carry on with the usual daily/challenge maps for the more standard items now that I don't *need* to dedicate all of my stam to event missions? Heck, the only things I don't need appear to be Valkyries. I think I have 7 Elaines sitting around until I can CC her, Thetis, and Kerry.

EDIT: Nice video, Snow. I'm amused at how different it was from what I did, but, then again, most of my strength is in ranged units.

Stray doesn't get Triple Shot though, he has Double Shot both before and after CC.

Unless EN Aegis changed Stray to have triple shot, he's got only double after CC. Also, Clarie = 398 ATK, Bella = 425 ATK, Stray = 357. He's actually worse than JP's new silver archer, (which has double shot and 340ish ATK) due to cost +2.

Does anyone know if any of the maps are worth farming for silvers on

Event 20/1, usually just chance at 1 silver unit, but these maps should be farmed the hell out of since it's best return. Otherwise, it varies depending on what you need at the time. (It's highly suggested against farming 60/5 or equivalent level maps, but people does it anyways)

Actually, limiting rarity is indeed a valid point, due to silver/gold or lower video pretty much clears every map.

Just that when it comes the best Archer, Nanaly herself is meme level. "First place-down Nanaly" is a literal meme in JP. (Stands for brainless gaming, now it's all you need is an Aisha)

I gave into the Goddess's temptation, she's such a seductress when she tempted me with that out of the blue Sybilla. Even spent over my monthly limit, (300) and as always, she got me. But today I had a surprise for her HAHA!

Hiding so people can skip if desired:

The Bad:
--- No blacks for todays purchase (Sybilla was gotten off the event crystals), which keeps me well below the 1% total, and still under even when counting the event (maps) crystal luck.
--- Got another Julian from all my rolls, he failed yet again for that final CR, believe that puts him over 20 failures total. Aria is SOOOO giving his ass the boot.
--- Got my usual, abnormally high amount of silvers.
--- Gonna need lots more affection items even though I had a fair amount of stock.
--- Had to re-up my XP/gold boost as they ended awhile back (didn't re-up UC start +5 though), it's just so slow to level with out it (even with it too now), that you can just feel that bonus calling.

The Good:
--- Like I said I had something up my sleeve for the goddess, and in this case it was, I actually needed silvers, and lots of them, specifically Rogue. I not only got Harrisa, I've fully CR'ed my second one. Was able to redo my Cuterie and fully CR'ed her too, previous had been CC'ed at 30, and she was the last of my units I had done that with. Also got another Cecily and Betty (no CR's though). Should now have enough thieves once they are leveled/affection to give Dwarfs & Giants 2 another go.
--- Got Mehlis, fully CR'ed (only 50% affection so far), my Harem team now has a mage needless to say.
--- 2 Jeromes (have one already fully CR'ed), with black fairies, both Nanally are now level 60.
--- Got a single Garania, so at least I get to see the other mage.
--- Phyllis apparently really loves me, she spawned 6 more lvl 20clones.... Phyllis spawning season, be careful.
--- HOLY SHIT BATMAN, I got only one Bandit. Call Genius!!!
--- Still have over 50 crystals.

All in all, this most recent purchase has been the most rewarding for not getting a black. It got me a lot of stuff I really needed to have that I was lacking (cheap units), and a few extras that I didn't expect. And the bonus, I get to keep a few crystals around for a couple of events with out having to buy anything for awhile.

May the rest of yalls rolls be better than mine, but just as useful.

In the same boat as you. The chance for a specific silver is nice, but I'm not sure if it's worth giving up fairies/gifts/exp. Maybe if I weren't so far behind on all three it would be worthwhile.

Lol, everyone is so furious about their rolls.
Well i am fine even though my 2 free rolls got me another garret (guess i use him now, with some CR he worth it i hope) and soma (which i don't really need, since i have 4(5 now) extra copies of her, and my main Soma is-3 4/5)

Didn't get new mages, but oh well i have Barbastroff and Cyrus, and i don't mind mages being an old bearded guys, it's classic.

Btw Garret changes his skill on CC right?
