--Thetis is probably the best "overall".
--Dahlia is the best versus mages, like previous event that had high damage mage attacks, she is the best mage killer we have so far.
--Clissa is for "rawr bombing", aka ganking. Drop her on a unit away from your other units so she can either slow them down, to split bosses, or for removing something else that may have splash damage your other units can't handle or has high damage that might wreck your group. Later maps that we don't have now, one will have a Nanaly that comes up with her skill already activated, so in short she will kill most things that get in range of her. Rawr bombing her is the best strat to kill her.

I'll level them all up, I'll start with Thetis though since she's what you guys said. "Overall" better than the two...

In my testing I found using "I" and "J" for the princesses to be better, "I" being the first slot used, and to use Prince for K. Healer is placed at "c".
Provided prince is using his "Hero" type bonus, he makes a big difference especially if using the lvl 64 "Savior" title.

Position mostly depends on how strong his Princesses are, I and J are definitely better spots, the ones I suggested just give a bit more leeway for points.

While Clissa can duel Nanaly with a good healing support, it can be quite a bit riskier than just dropping a HA to tank everything, mostly due to the other units that spawn at the same time she appears which might reach your backline.

As to gold fairies, Giant Enemy is your best bet as its easy (provided you have CC'ed archers), and a fairly consistent drop rate and the best ratio for stamina used.

You don't even need CC'ed archers, two level 30ish silver archers (with affection bonuses) are enough to clear the map.

Lets see...
1st for valkyrie it seem thetis is the most popular for fighting boss mob in any situation, Clissa is good to drop her off out of heal range since she can hold quite well, mostly to kill medium unit wave. And the last 1 dahlia, she just basicaly a power house to kill mage unit although it doesn't mean she cant take other enemy, just hold that button pressing her skill. Some ppl like her awakening ability +7% atk valk, and have 3 valk in the team (they tank well and cost recover..)

next is about Nanaly as enemy.
Yes she will be enemy in later awakening map monday daily, She come with nonstop skill up thats is shooting 550x4 dmg. Although she pretty easy kill all you need is Heavy armour with def above it then her dmg roughtly 55x4=220.

For gold fairy map, just use any unit -.- even some bronze drop off map should be able to hold against them mob incoming.
I recomended farming phalanx 2 for affection item and plat fairy including gold.

Now then for my case.....Finished Aria 50CC60 (2 platinum used) / Drania 30
I hope next event is farming event so i can keep spending all those xtra unit exp on new unit as soon it drop. Then the nnext event afterward let it be star event

I wish there was a challenge map with only affection items with high drop rates, dont rly have units to use the fairies on, at least not without Exp armours (my average is like 0,5 a week so maybe thats why), especially the plat ones that drop from Phalanx 2.

Btw, I guess u guys realized that the drop rates of fairies on every challenge map were like halved after the last update? It used to be ~60% for silver/gold on Low Cost Battle/The Giant Enemy, now it seems to be about 30% (maybe a bit more for TGE, but still significantly lower than it used to be). Phalanx 2 too used to drop tons of both fairies, now u get like 1 random one every 2-3 runs. The rates for affection items definitely remained unchanged though (looks like it's about 70% for the buquet/pearl and 50% for ruby).

Only 52? How's that possible, have u ever done the 2k gatcha at all? I'm freemium like u and I'm at like 85/109 (not including fairies), but I have like 4-6 copies of many silvers from the gatcha, I guess u must've used them for CRs or exp then? Also... 5 exp armours, wow, I've only ever got 5 or 6 so far.

You are just having bad luck.

I'm almost constantly at 89-91/91 unit capacity because I have a crud ton of extra silver bandits that I never know when I'm going to use. I've been tempted on more than one occasion to just turn them into exp but it hardly seems worth it, I really wish I'd just pull Lyla one day in base summon

Challenge maps have always been hit or miss. Had many times were I get fairy drops multiple times in a row, and then later get no fairies for several runs in a row as well. Always seem to get one affection item at least, have had runs with 0 drops, but thankfully they are pretty rare occurrences.

Just realized after CC'ing my second Betty that apparently she is only CR'ed once...damn bitch. Okay she is going to be eaten by Cypria who I got as one of my 4 premium rolls. She is at least fully CR'ed now, so just gonna go with her since I have her. This will give me a fully CR'ed: Harrisa, Cecily, Cuterie, Betty, and Cypria. That should do me for any "rogue fix" I need. Now just to get em all leveled and CC'ed. Least I know what I'll be working on this week.

You are just having bad luck.

Thought so initially but it's not like I've run the map 5 or 10 times, but probably over 100x (Phalanx 2 alone) and either I had been having an awesome streak of luck for 50+ runs before the update, that suddently changed into a streak of bad luck after, or the rates were lowered after said update, cos now I'm getting approximately 2x less of both fairies, yet the same amounts of affection items. I've been checking this theory on my noob account last few days by running Low Cost Battle (and The Giant Enemy lately) like 30+ times and yeah, I'm getting about 1 silver fairy every 3 runs while it used to be 2/3. I'll continue the research though, too bad I don't know what exactly the rates were before the update (but I'm 100% sure they were higher than 50% for silver/gold fairies on LWB and TGE though).

Not a fan. Prefer my rogues have assassinate skill.
Cuterie is an exception and not like I even cared to CR her, it just landed that way. She's only used for affection grab ability, other wise she'd have been eaten a long time ago.

I feel your pain.
Money goes so fast in this game. I was over 1.2 mil after Monday (spent 3 crystals) and way down from that now. It's scary how fast you go through it just leveling a few units. It's not too bad if you are just getting units to level 30, but trying to get em to 50 for CC, then leveling beyond 30 a second time, the money just goes bye-bye so fast.

They need a double gold bonus Monday or something.

The good news is once I get my main team leveled it'll get easier/cheaper over time allowing the money to stack up easier. Trying to level and CC units back to back to back to back is just a huge money drain.

Just on my current 'plate' already I've got

Aria -> Bashira -> Belinda -> Fedora -> Dorania (To 30)

Then whatever event on Friday brings will have even more units I might swap into my current team, then I still have to level up my Princesses + Berna at some point. Even if I can just get two Plat Armors on monday that'd be such a buff to my time/money load.
