Finally able to post!

Have been lurking from first post in this thread. So hi everyone. o/

I really hope we get all events eventually, because my goal is to get every girl unit to max level. That is quite hard for free player like me tho..

And i really envy your black units. My only plat+ from 5sc gatcha is Cypria... :/

They are somewhat rare considering you can only get them during Revival of the Dragon Princess and Anna's Adventure. You can't CC him, but he is a unit required to unseal/CC Dorania to turn it into Anya.

So, it wouldn't hurt to keep him around until you can use him to get Anya sometime in the future.

Ohhhh, I'm not sure if I just got super lucky or not. I've done two more 5sc summons on my account and I have the following units so far from the gacha;

Themis (Gold)
Dahlia (Platinum)
Alissa (Silver)
Lyla (Platinum)
(Nothing worth mentioning from the free daily 2K gacha yet)

Of course, this is the account I was given that started with the first two and I rolled the other two. I'm not sure if Lyla's really good or not, being a Bandit, but that 329 Attack at level 1 is mighty impressive to me. I'm also pretty keen on giant axes as fantasy weapons, as I always use axes in RPGs if they're an option, so...

Is she worth using? Or did I pull one of those comparatively bad rares, like Hunter Stray?

For me I think she's worth. She's tanky + you can use her to hold those black armors or giants if you are still having trouble with them.

Raw damage-wise, with her skill activated, I think she is reaches the highest damage per attack in the entire game (I may be wrong, but she is one of the heaviest hitters anyway). Her defense goes away, though, so she shines against enemies that do not use physical attacks (e.g. mages). She's also a redhead with a killer bod, which is a plus in my books, but YMMV.

So far not having any real luck with the Normal daily. I tried Hard, then remembered why I don't, because the gold armors will kick my Soldier's butts.

I need a better strat for it but EFFORT.

I always had trouble with them in my old file, so having another unit to counter them, like Themis, makes me happy.

I'm also having a bit of a problem. My army is getting rather large, so I'm unsure of who to have in my main team. Here's who I currently have (I'm about to feed those Iron bandits to Lyla, so I'm not keeping them.);

She's not great, but a bit better than everyone's "beloved" golden bandit. And if you ever get him (trust me, you will. everyone gets Conrad or two - such is life), you can 30CC him and feed to her for Skill Up. Risk Life is one of the skill that really shine on higher levels - it's burst damage with no defense, so the more you squeeze out of it, the better.

That said, bandits are not the preferred duelist class most of the time. They suck outside of their skill. Don't look at high attack value - their attack rate is so slow rogues and valks outdamage them against all but most armored enemies. Not to mention they can't protect lanes: by the time bandit swings his ax twice, everyone and their mother will pass him.

So when you use her, plan a bit ahead, so by the time actual target connects you can activate skill and melt it.

Cellia is a bit different from the rest. She's a defensive bandit with a skill that cuts received damage from ALL your allies, has MR and very high (might as well be highest in the game) HP value. Aside from obvious sortie bonus for getting fairies, I use her as a first lighting rod when farming Immortal Beast. With skill active + her MR + her HP she survives for quite some time while mages destroy goatmen.

Edit:
Keep levelling up. You get quite a lot of unit slots on your way up in levels. And you will have to invest crystals in box expansion anyway, so if you feel immediate need, might as well do it now.

She's not great

Tell that in JP thread and they will bash you so much.
Anyway for Lyla, she is 1 of the best bandit out there and fun to use.
She is the highest atk bandit in game and you can just think of her as all out atk without care on defense. Bandit do come with low atk speed, which ppl don't appreciayte it atm, but you will understand how atk > speed in future cuz currently most eemy def is just that low.
Her atk is really high that she an easily bypass almost all (except crazy def) boss enemy in game.
Bandit is all about atk power to bypass enemy def using the despreate skill can be addicting specialy when you fight large enemy (dont use skill on small- med enemy unless you got the heal neccesary)
The reason she fun to use is her aw ability - gold get!. but this still future content, where on her kill you got roughtly estimate 20% chance for 100G , which can be increased more with 3 star (1.5x) and another aw ability that increase gold at the end of the map. Well with her high atk power she usualy 1 hit kill small enemy or 2 hit kill med enemy (of coz low lvl map can 1 hit kill med enemy).

I would swap Dahlia for Calliope in this list. Or rather Witch as a class. He should be getting Cloris in the near future. And having Leeanne of somewhat presentable level will help with story missions, too. Themis won't do much without a good healer, so I'd put her on hold as well. Having a levelled mage is more important at this point.

But I remebered I did Return to Ruins with with a level 1 Valerie and both Cloris and Calliope at level 30 haha...

Although I did focus on healers most and I got Iris and Conrad at that time so...
And when I do fail a mission I just grind Royal Road or Tower Overwatch back then.

Yeah, I shouldn't have phrased it like that. What I meant to say is that she's not a universal duelist from heaven like princesses are, and not every time obvious choice. Bandit is a useful unit to have, but not that great unless at very high level, against specific opponent and will skill active. Guess I don't like class in general for this exact reason - too much hassle to use when I can just put princess on the field and she'll do the job. Give me black bandit with instantly ready skill and I'll use her very, very often. But as it is - only when there's a very specific map/enemy calling for a very specific tactics.

Princess is not universal as well >.<, actualy Lyla is more universal cuz her atk is high enuff to bypass boss enemy def. Of coz we all know using bandit come with the need more healing power, so take care on using her

well it always come to basic when we deploy a unit.
1st physical atk preferable to be above enemy def for high dmg or else you only did 10% dmg (blocked ranged atk = 1% dmg)
2nd magic atk this include princess have to check enemy MR, they got reduced by % so most magic atk still contribute even its atk is low

Finished the compilation of all the melee units with comparable classes/use to what we have now (No Pegasus Knights, Dark Knights, etc.) but I hit the world limit so I actually can't edit it into all one post on this forum.
