Because he's one of the few male healers in the game. Not to mention you can only get him in maps during events, and then the final variable. Just because an event is active doesn't mean everyone can clear it. Some people don't have good enough strategy, units, etc. Any map that drops Christopher but is incredibly hard to beat might as well not be there.

I will try to help you on strategy, although you gonna need to lvl fast enuff for next event.
Since i don't want to spoilt too much on next event special unit enemy (Maribelle event), all i can say is there plenty of heavy armour unit that u might want to consider lving witch / mage / and katie + Low cost healer for early rush

She's a Princess so she's better than having no Princess at all by far, but any other Princess is basically better than her by default. Princesses have magic autos and are by that nature anti-armor
Can try, but note that princess will also had to take a high dmg hit from heavy armour.
Unless its seriusly neccesary i felt using alternative as shooting with witch + mage seem better, of coz if you have the healer for it then all is good.
Most of time i use princess is to kill a high def ranged (ganking), other than that atk type valk usually better
The next event has armors that leave the paths, new players might want to cc a witch or a mage first for this event. I would suggest ignoring the event for 3 days if it lasts a week, and just power level. Get the exp boost when you have to start waiting for charisma regen to keep leveling.
They should implement some way to the community exchange characters between them without exploit the system, like only characters of the same rarity. Or, in worst case scenario, charge some crystals to do this.
My first CC was Cloris so witch and I must say i have never regretted this decision. Yeah I know that most ppl are often not even mentioning them when saying about the order of CC, but really, having CC'ed witch is really useful.

Decided to CC one of my gold mages (Mehlis) after debating about it, slightly regret it, but at the same time I love her even more now. On one hand she's as expensive as Anya, but on the other she does so much damage.....that over-sized ribbon tho. CCing Garania is also looking very tempting.

Then I can finally ditch my absurdly lucky alt account, but that probably won't happen as it would probably be exploitable no matter what since people can just keep making alts to get what they want for the same rarity scenario and for the crystals, unless they make it like 20+ people can just use the crystals you can get from the lower maps.
Possibly I can see it working is if they make it so the exchange is allowed after a certain time, maybe 1 year of membership or something like that, but then again people can exploit around that by making alts until they get what they want and keep logging into it so that the account doesn't get deleted as I remember reading somewhere they do delete accounts if there isn't activity in it for a very long time. I guess they could look at gameplay time as well if they keep a record of that, but then that again can be worked around by just idling on the menu screen unless gameplay time is only counted when you play a map.
