Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)
I understand all the veterans who've been playing since launch with level 150+ and 50 units all 50CCMax'd are drearily bored and find every event trivialized, but yeah, people who "Starter during Maribel's event" would be hopelessly outclassed in this event.
Just something of note about your statement.
1st and foremost, most people are not me.
Do not compare "veteran" players to the "one off" player who happens to have maxed their level and units. That is an exception and not the rule. I've not see one other person say, show or other wise indicate they have a max level team. Bottom line, do NOT compare veteran players to a single player. It's not fair to lump everyone in with a gross generalization based off one (or even a handful of) player (s).
2ndly: If you think even I had an "easy" time with the event, then you are mistaken, my blind run videos were not run once and 3 star by any means. Even if prepared by doing research each player is still going to have to adapt to the map based on what they have and the level of their units. Even well established teams will be tested with this event, and have been. No one here is saying this event is a walk in the park. Those that didn't repeat some of the harder event maps did their research first so as not to waste cha/sta. Perfectly viable way of doing things, doesn't mean it was easy.
Finally: Keep in mind people can and do level at different speeds. A lot of this, when it comes down to it, is how often are you doing dailies? They severely hamper unit and player growth. It's meant to. Level up player/units, or work on those dailies & challenge mission maps for fairies and affection items? Depending what a player chooses to do can drastically alter the players units and their level even if they started playing at the same time. Not to mention there are plenty of players that hate grinding unit or player levels.
I'm going to state that, despite being 148 and nearly 149 with a fairly well-leveled team, I've still had some trouble with this Event, mainly on the last map. It's pretty brutal if you don't use the cookie-cutter strategy and/or have cheat units, it actually gave me pause and made me wonder how I'd be able to tackle future Events if they'd be on the same scale.
^ Is the reason I make the video's I do. Even though I tend to get flak for it. No they aren't going to show people how to take the lowest level units and beat a map or even beat the maps with an average team. However it WILL show people that even with cheat units (black), max level player/units what to expect as far as difficulty. If a player who sees no other video then mine, they will know with out a doubt 2 of the maps for this event are going to be hard. That's why I decided to show my blind runs and not just a "perfect run" after the maps had been beaten and a strategy made.
