This could trigger another arguement war -.-
That unit is platinum Sailor Viera, whos a bonus unit from rank 50.
For ppl who played and have high rank before, we didn't got much bonus from the rank up like G.Iris / platinum armour as well (Yes still got cypria)

Pray there will be no one screaming war in unfairness for new player


Edit: Adding to JimmyBob100 info, when sailor awaken their ranged skill become small AoE, while they still maintain their atk speed....

By what I can read in Japanese, it says given at level 50. It doesn't sound like older players can get her that way. Plus she is 200 DC on the trading post.

Area of Effect. Attacks that hit all enemies in a given area are called AoE. Mages are AoE.

What do you mean? Was this unit given out to people who were already level 50 or was it new players only?

Oh when i log my acc i didn't got it.
It was rank 150 so i guess its only given to new player

Persistence paid off... I guess?
Finally pulled a mage... It was gold. Conflicted as to whether to replace my not-yet-CC'd max lvl silver mage to use as CC fodder or not...
I'm really tempted to do it...
What do you guys think? (Oh, and ran out of gold to throw at gatcha)

Another 1M later and got 5 silvers and guess what... no warrior. Got 2 mages though want 1?
When I only had 1M or less I was pulling silvers every 100k so now I'm joining the paranoia club and raise flags about chance at gatcha is internationally proportional to gold at hand. (jk, but this luck is awful and it seems to also be affecting my odette drop...)

Regarding mages I can't tell you much since I only have Valerie, Cyrus and now Odette.
I'll leave out the girl since I haven't tested her yet but both my males are CCed max leveled 100%. In terms of stats there's not much difference, Cyrus has + ~100hp, 20atk and 8def but comes with +2 unit cost. Yet the greatest difference is the skill which evolves after CC and improves by ~33%.
My personal opinion is to keep 1 of each, Valerie can be easily CR and SU which can make him come faster into play while the Cyrus for the extra nuke. Now if the mage you've gotten is one of the girls it will without a doubt be better than any male mage (due affection having higher bonus) and it will probably replace your mage, yet I would keep him close since the CR on Valerie might save your ass further along the way on those low cost rush maps.

By what I can read in Japanese, it says given at level 50. It doesn't sound like older players can get her that way. Plus she is 200 DC on the trading post.

Older players received all bonuses they qualified for retroactively if I remember correctly. So, if you're above 50, you should still get her when she is added as a level reward if my previous statement is accurate and new rank rewards are handled as they were in JP.

Additionally, I'd hold off on decisively stating whether such rewards are for new players only or not in EN until the new bonuses are officially added. However, this may also indicate that the trading post may be changing soon.

The screenshot taker reports they got the (bugged) unit at reaching level 50, so that may be the method of distribution.

If level bonus units are not given retroactively in the Nutaku version I will be very pissed off. I can understand giving out 'new player only' units after a few years of successful operation (like the recent Kerry->Bashira change on DMM), but given the shit-show we've experienced since game release, not giving her out to everyone would be a massive kick in the teeth.

Whatever happened to Altrius was an anomaly, all the veteran players I know of got the "new" level 1-50 rewards despite being higher leveled, mine's still sitting in the Present box.

Oh and older players could still get Bashira from the Trading Post for a relatively cheap 100 Demon Crystals, not free, but at least it's not so bad.

So has anyone rolled either of the new samurai yet? I'm asking because I've done some Premium rolls today but haven't gotten either, so I'm wondering if my luck is just weird or if they aren't really featured yet. (I'm not complaining - the platinums I did get were Cellia and Lilia and I didn't have either yet, but it does seem a bit unlikely that I got 6 golds and none were the new dude)

Also, I'm curious if Chiakisan's issue resolved with the patch.

Yep, I got both Shizuka and Kojuro on 2 rolls. Super sick lol.

The patch resolved that issue, but gave me a new one as when I hit level 50, it gave me a "Sailor Scout" with no display picture and no portrait. This game both loves me and hates me XD. This bug was already mentioned earlier, but I attached some more examples.

Good to hear your issue resolved Chiakisan.

So I started up an alt to test what's up, and got Iris at level 10. Seems like they (accidentally?) turned on ALL the DMM level up units. Guessing that will probably be turned off next maintenance, if not before.

how important is it to have shizuka, because I only managed to get 2 kojiros

On a side note holy crap her attack (438) at level 40 50% affection she already passed my CC42 Barbastroff and quickly closing in on Mehlis CC58 100%(504). Sometimes I forget how much of a difference there is between gold and platinum.

Most of the times, Samurais are too expensive to do their job and for the maps that matter, they need AW to be good enough to deploy, very late-game units.
