Well that is unfortunate... did JP have SRs that were exclusive in SR gacha?

At the time I had the tickets, it didn't. Unfortunately, I can't confirm whether or not it does now since the SR gacha doesn't even show up without a ticket in your inventory. However, when looking in my collection and seeing the mosaic'd pictures of the cards I don't have, I recognize nearly all of these as being obtainable in some other way, so I doubt there are any SR-gacha-only cards in JP.

If there was an option in the store to buy just one ticket, I'd get one just to open up the SR gacha and confirm, but it turns out they're only sold in packs for 2000 points on DMM.

Nutaku didn't make pero, pero is a Japanese game just (most of the time poorly) translated.

guess Kancolle is not the first one they are getting.

To be fair this is suprising. GIven the popularity i thought kancolle would be 1st non ero they would publish.

... i wonder if Kantai Collection will be pain in the ass because of famous seiyū since from what i heard they often have some bollocks in their contracts that they can't work oversea or are supposed to be jap only and it's often an issue when game is ported to english market (heard something along those lines thet when Trails In The Sky was released on steam year ago)

Ahh you were faster than my edit so doing reply. Gave it 1 minute and it eventually loaded as 30 which is weird since 30 image was already loaded, thought it would be 50 or empty charm.

I'm not that surprised. Having played Kantai Collection extensively there is a LOT to be translated in that, far more then you would originally think. Kanpani does not have quite as many characters as Kancolle does at launch nor does it have as much equipment to be translated.

Kancolle has lists upon lists of weapons and gear to translate while Kanpani really only has a meager in comparison weapon list (at launch at least). I think Kanpani is them testing the waters for Kancolle (since again it's the same devs), so I can only really stress if you want Kancolle then Kanpani has to do well.


A side note about Kancolle, we complain about focus events in pero but you have not experienced the hell that is Kancolle events. Events in Kancolle last almost a full month with you having to be at the PC almost 24/7 if you want to beat the event in full due to how fucking hard they are. ONTOP of that you have to farm resources for months to stockpile enough to even have enough to do the event. I think a lot of you guys are expecting a lot more from Kancolle then it delivers =P Kanpani is Kancolle light in the fact events are less.....well to be frank hell on earth.

See that is the thing about Kancolle that worries me if Nutaku gets it. Kancolle does not really incentivize spending money on resources because the rate of money to resources is completely dreadful. In Kancolle you generally spend money on extra ship slots (100 is the base, a very generous amount), more repair dock slots and more docks to craft ships.

Repair docks are useless due to how easy it is to get instant repairs in game (I have nearly 1000) and crafting docks are also fairly useless. As you can probably tell Kancolle seems to be fairly light in money grubbing...HOWEVER you can also buy wedding rings to marry your waifus at roughly 7 dollars a pop. THAT is where they get their money. You get 1 free and have to buy more, but marrying your waifus lets them break the level 100 cap. There is very little in the mechanics Nutaku can fuck with without completely breaking the game and don't you worry, if they fuck with something I will know and I will complain just as loudly as I always do.

They always introduce new SECs in the second half of the events. All SECs from the first half still retain their special effect. That was the way the events were originally designed by the JP team, and to change that would take too much development time.

If I recall from the last event, the multiplier from the second stage SECs will be a lot higher than the first stage ones too?
