the pic in the quote is an old pic from damsel quest 1. i was hoping you were saying the newer stuff is better than it

oooh ... i see ... I didn't play damsel quest, not into rpgmaker ^^;

Is this the new pic?

I think the new pics have too much blur effect

oh, and beside the blur, maybe reduce hue level too?

I hope you enjoy it, i still have a few consistency issues with the art, but i think the pics will be enjoyable nonetheless

today i've been building gambling minigames, i got hot and cold done (kinda like ff9) and a dice higher or lower game

haha I used to play hot and cold as a kid and as I was watching, I was thinking we added things like "on fire" or "burning" when the word "boiling" showed up. So I guess I'm not alone. :p


I played up until the orcs so far where I forgot that I read in this thread that you need to run. Definitely a fan of H-scenes on losing so that was a nice touch. Was particularly fond of the BADASS you play as at the start and seeing what happens, makes me wonder about the threat Ren will have to face to reclaim her kingdom. I also like how it pretty much picks up right after the first game.

As I said earlier, and I stand by my comment, your art style has improved considerably imo. Not to mention, English Hentai RPGs are still lacking.

One thing I'm not sure I'm a fan of, is that when you defeat an enemy, they are only gone a few seconds and then come back. I feel this can lead to being overwhelmed as you try and explore areas....But I suppose it's still better than random encounters which are unavoidable.

I believe someone mention that combat was "too simple" ...whatever, Just don't make it "unplayable" like Rhode's fortress. That combat mechanic is abysmal. Combat should not take 5+ minutes a fight unless it's a boss.

it actually took her a fair while to travel home which is how she has weapons and armor now.

i can raise the stun timer, but i need the enemies to come back in case people get screwed with the exp, i could also do the thing where they're gone until you come back to the room just as easily, when i originally did enemy stun for majo, i thought if i erased the event it might not go back to where it spawns properly, but it will, so ill consider that as an option too

is the combat too simple though? i have no idea how that guy managed to defeat everything with the ordinary attack

I'm still trying to decide on my generic tentacle enemies for this area, but area 3 is pretty much complete. so i just have area 4 and the game corner to make now

wait. Tentacle bra and panty(for lack of better words) armor??

Now THAT'S an interesting idea. Would be interesting to know of the effects when equipped.

Oh yeah I would never want the enemies to be gone for good. that would suck. Especially with GOR :p

I just saw a potential to be in a situation where you defeat an enemy to loot a chest it was guarding, loot the chest and then have to fight it again to leave the dead end the chest was in.

nah i can leave enemies like that in the gallery :3


also chances are this game will be finished and released this month. though its a bit late to say anyone who pledges this month gets it, so anyone on this month or next month gets the unlock file

Patrons who pledged 5usd or more this month will receive the unlock file when the game is done, the same applies to people who pledge for the end of the month.
I ought to have the base game released in the next 2 weeks, and i plan on adding more content based on what people would like to see more of in it.

one thing id like to see is some content based around the casino area.

I spent today writing the scenes for the cg ive been drawing in the past week...I've had the last boss cg for ages but haven't wrote those yet either...

I'm actually pretty excited to get this done and released in the next 2 weeks.

today did a bit more on the casino and token exchange stuff, wanted to add a few more skillbooks to the gift shop, also did a bit writing the scenes concerning the last boss (the non H ones)

the final area has the content ready but the layout could do with a bit of work... i keep getting concerned about whether i should add puzzles to make the game a bit more interesting.

10 days to go at most...but at the current rate i'm working at the base game should be done in the next 6 days


also for a comparison, by pledging this month you get the game for 5usd opposed to the 8usd on kimochi and god knows what on dlsite
