Just did another full run through of the game, all seems to be in order, could do with more loot :3

game pretty much only needs the sex in the good ending now... should be fun :3

The base games done, just waiting for kimochi to finish maintenance so i can upload it.

I still plan on adding more content to it but I wanna hear what people want first.

besides this, I also have the fairy forest game to work on.

somehow dlsite beat the odds and managed to review a game in under 3 days... still, youre better off waiting for kimochi to be done with their maintenance...save you a few dollars anyway

I'm Happy to announce the game is up for sale on the Kimochi client now for 8usd, in other news, until the 17th, damsel quest 1 will be on sale at 4usd (it's on the kimochi client under azurezero game collection).

How do you get past the slime after the Succubus? He just keeps kicking me out of the fight after a few rounds. Is there a level requirement?

there's a skill requirement, you need to be off the ground to avoid the attack that boots you (it's the wings)

but i still recommend kimochi as the cheaper option

I'm still wondering what i should do next project wise. I was thinking of using that fairy forest idea but make it as a wave based game or something, cause i'm not too good at the whole map design thing... it would be nice to make a proper adventure rpg of it but at least ill gain experience with bone animation

I vote for the fairy! And good point on map design, i do feel that something was off but can't actually tell what's the cause. Maybe watch some Diablo let's play and for now, imitate it? We all learn from imitating stuff at first :D

I vote for Fairy project too. I want to see more H-ACT game than RPG maker :p
About level design, for me it ok for both map travel or room with waves.
Diablo type is good too. Add level or upgrade system.

One thing is missing for me is H content not merge with game play :rolleyes:

hmmm i'm still trying to think about it...if you have a base to defend then if you got grabbed that could lead to an instant loss which would be a problem if you were just trying to enjoy the h

someone just reported a bug with the wings/remove wings skill... though it doesnt fuck up until you seal or have them healed the first time...(healing at a crystal removes the wings and you cant put them back)

people with the kimochi version should go there to redownload it (v4)
patrons can get it direct from me

I updated my logo, I'm really happy with it too. especially as its a distortion of the original design...shows evolution you know... i've improved a lot over the last few years, and it was nice to do something for myself for once... i've been having difficulty with that, whenever i try to draw something artistic or for myself (not for profit) my mind get all clogged and its hard to keep drawing


you can make them stop and watch the H-ed fairy
i thought of one idea, where the mc can deploy decoys to get fucked instead but if she gets grabbed it really is a struggle where lots of enemies will get past her and go for the base

I have no idea why the game is selling better on dlsite than on kimochi (where its cheaper)

Since i'm having difficulty working on the fairy game project, what sort of things would people like adding to this game? since theres still room for extra content like post game bosses and fun stuff like that

Hey, I should have written this review a while back, as I purchased it the day it came out, but I never got around to it, so here goes.


Purchase:
I bought the game on Kimochi with a Visa gift card purchased at my local store. The process was quick, efficient and I believe anonymous. No complaints here.

Gameplay:
The game is a typical RPG game with some fun mini game elements reminiscent of the first Princess Escape game. This map layout is linear in is format with some extras to find. Not much grinding is needed, except for the first level with the soldiers. Except for one, the save points are placed at strategic places on the map, I lost all my progress when I lost to the first boss. A save point before the boss would have helped. The gameplay is fun and not forced. The mini-games are fun and unless you want to spend hours grinding, are highly recommended. The game is a little short, and I beat it in about and hour and twenty minutes. The ending feel rushed. For example, I was able to blast through the Slime dungeon (the last level before the boss) by evading slimes or using the Dark Cloud skill.

Bugs:
I only found one bug. I once again found a way to play as Emily. Next to the first save crystal (while still playing as Emily), if the player faces the wall on the right and presses 'Z', they will get transported to the Hot and Cold game and therefore the casino. Other than that bug, I found no other bugs.

Artwork:
As with most games, the hentai stems from Game Over Rape. The quality of the artwork is good to great, with a surprising large amount of fetishes and artwork in a short game. Azurezero's artwork has improved greatly from his first games and I enjoy looking forward to more of it. As stated somewhere else in this thread, the artwork of your characters doesn't blend with the typical RPG enemies, which can be a bit jarring. Even in this short game, the collection of fetishes present is impressive. Some of the fetishes present in this game are:

* Bondage
* Tentacles
* Mindbreak
* Petplay (Petification? Pet-bondage? In any case, very well done)
* And more (I don't want to spoil everything)

Summary:

Damsel Quest 2 delivers a myriad of different fetishes in a short and compact RPG game. Although not on the level as some of the other infamous H-game developers, Azurezero is making an effort at improving his games (and for one, he is actually making games). For a one man developer, Azurezero produces a good quality package with fun gameplay and erotic elements, which is the basis of every good H-game. If you purchase this game you can ensure that he keeps doing that.

Pros:

* Good to Great artwork
* Mini-games
* Fun, diverting game

Cons:

* The ending seems rushed
* The game is short
I'm happy to hear such a nice review, is there anything youd like to see added to the game specifically? fetish wise or monster wise etc

I'm kind of stuck with what to do with the fairy game. and I'm still waiting on the buyers to request specific bonus content for this... so I've been playing with a slightly meta concept for a game...

haven't actually started on it though just an idea in my head for now...
kinda don't wanna spoil it, but its an idea that attempts to change one of the main complaints about GOR into a key gameplay feature/part of the plot.

been experimenting, and so far...if I want to add the 3 character party thing...first off, i need to increase the game window...because i can barely fit 2 characters in the 640x480...provided i can find the original size pics for my cg that shouldnt be a problem



I also did some basic modifying of my battler image pic to help facilitate it when i do add the other party members

and even though he never commented here, couragewolf wanted me to add the slave collar to the battle image and i have done.

A Review. By Meme.

The game wasn't bad at all, though short for my taste and with a few curios left in from older versions, such as a mirror in the library etc etc. Those are all fairly easy to forgive and for 8 bucks? not a bad buy. I enjoyed a lot of the GO scenes, though some variation on a few of them would have been nice, and a few certainly seemed like they could have been longer or not GO's at all, but penalties or debuffs in a sense.

The Gambling in the casino gave me a bit of a headache, but that's because I despise mini-games. Didn't stop me from grabbing a ball gag and a blindfold however, what can I say, Kinks are Kinks.

To avoid filling this with A: Spoiler Material, and B: TL;DR walls, I'll skip right to some personal criticisms without giving away too much, and some requests or suggestions I think could add a great deal.

The slime area, you'll find it I promise. Azure, we've talked about this, and it's tweaks and ideas. I believe what we considered is well worth the effort for an area that to me, feels like it could have been more.

The library as well could use a little polish and some love, (Less fairies, more plants :p) And some items could certainly use some display on the character model. Especially those that most people wont purchase ingame without a love for those items. Collars, gags, blindfolds, fetish gear should be displayed on the model, if nothing else for a bit of a giggle, for those of us who love such things, a raging hardon to accompany our holy quest through the castle of many perversions. I don't THINK there needs to be more to the party, the lore itself for this particular game doesn't need it, and to be honest, it would be a ton of extra work that isn't really warranted when a single character can simply have more to do/explore/get fucked by :p

My overall opinion? It's good. Throw money at azure for it, the work he put into it is obvious as is his sense of humor and despite the happy fapping, there were plenty of sections I had to be a little impressed by the cleverness of what I'd stumbled into. God bless you armor break you funny bastard you. And with some moments that had me grinning our openly laughing at the audacity.

Courage Wolf Score! 7/10 faps! not perfect, needs some love and polish. Some tweaks, but good! I've definitely played worse!
