I also felt bad for the "rape ape" lol. It would have been awesome for him to get a sex scene with a not-as-reluctant-as-before Alps as a reward for his persistence.

Sorry to bother but when I try to patch it I keep getting "xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT ". Tried googling and all I got was "this suggests that the input source file (i.e, the old version)
is not exactly the same as the one the patch was generated for." Is it because I'm running the 1.01 version of the game? Kinda new to this :X

Yup, I made the patch based off of v1.0, so it wouldn't work with the newer versions. The game's short enough and there's very little bugs for me to warrant an update to make another patch though.

Well, according to the dev blog you have to re download the game from DMM / Dlsite to get the new content, and it was released today, so maybe wait a few more days for it to appear.
Mid 20s of the month is usually the time the big ADV / VN / h-anime release time, so the big uploader are probably way more busy downloading and uploading the new release than re downloading to upload some new content to old work (especially if say work is a bit on the big side).

Version 1.1 is available on ani-dex is that the latest version?
 
so what's new on the latest version? some new content or just bug fix?
 
Newest version is up on kitty cat. Going to double check the presence of new content.

Edit: Ok so it's just a short video. No new game content. I mean, I thought it was meh but it's well done. Not for me, tho. Too vanilla.

I know these scenes probably take a long time to make, but I'm surprised that it was just this scene that they came out with after a year. Granted, it's a really well made vid, but I wonder what they're planning to do next. They haven't really been all that active on their blog or twitter either, just the seasonal post around the holidays, and the rare ones like this.
 
The game sold a ton of copies. So I don't know how much DLsite takes and how many people split it, but the circle was likely able to cruise by for a whole year. Hopefully they are just keeping things under wraps for now and are working on another game.
 
Hate to bump this, but is there a way to change the resolution? Mine kind of bugged, and refuses to go back to normal

Maybe its not what you want, but Alt+Enter still forces the game to go full screen.

Another thing is to go to the regedit and find this path:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\X_Rabbit\アルプスと危険な森

You should see the following

See that the height is 720 and width 1280? you might need to change it.

I haven't tried it yet, but I sure hope it works for you.
