RPG [alicesoft] イブニクル / Evenicle


Finished the game, took about a week. Still haven't collected all the landscapes (too lazy) and haven't killed all the mega bosses. The last one is seriously ridiculous and you need maxed out gear/level to beat him. Game was kinda grindy but not painfully so, combat was decent (wasn't fond of the gimmicky bosses), storyline was cliche, translation was pretty well done imo, and overall I had fun playing this. I'd give it a 8/10.

Few tips for everyone:
- There's a wiki with a simplified walkthrough for all the main/subquests
- Doing the beggar quests and fishing a lot will unlock alternate outfits for the girls
- To maximize capturing the lucky can can, equip cat girl's "grunt exterminator" skill and walk around a low level area. If you're under level 90, lucky can can is the only enemy that isn't isnta-gibbed by the skill
- Consumable items increase in price the more you have, so don't stock up on them and use them freely
- Raimus is best girl

You don't need to fish a lot, you can be done with it in 5 min. The amount of pieces you can get is limite dby the amount of fishing points you have unlocked. You can't get the 16th piece until the fishing point in central, for instance. But if you wait until then, you will get everything in 3-5 min.
 
Okay, so those skills you sometime get at the end of fights, anyone know what trigger them ? Are they level locked ? Chapter locked ? Do I need to use a specific skill X times ? I'm at chapter 3 and I'd like to get Mercy Attack to make capture easier.
 
Yeah, iirc Mercy Attack was found somewhere maybe in a nameless temple, but I could be mistaken.
 
found mercy attack in a chest right before the fishing spot in El quixote. But I think the chest content are a bit random most of the time...
 
Can someone help me with the missing Yulan S gear?

I've got everyone's set except Kath's. I've unlocked all the fishing spots and I'm just running around in Chapter 7 to all the spots and it refuses to give me the last piece. I've been doing this for hours.
Is this a glitch or something?

Did you find the finishing spot in the ocean? It's near the north-west corner of the map just in the middle of some water, I believe that's where I got it.
 
Somehow i manage to enter the red sea twice while still bein chapter 5...... and now i cant get in anymore..... i think its glitch or bug? But regretting not cwpturing the gal there :(
N from north-west the enemy is freaking strong there XD from my dmg i estimate the lvl the to be around 85-95 o.o
N for those who didnt know equipment plus can reach +6 n above from ghere the effect is also absurd n the chance to get high is also..... hard

i got in on red sea again and captured the gals there XD and grinding there a bit got me 5lvlup XD

The red sea is unlocked in the last chapter, and the dinosaur island which has the "freaking strong" enemies can be farmed from about level 70~ (with difficulty, mind) It also has what I find personally to be the best boss in the game.
 
Someone said there was alternate outfits? Are those just for armor stats or something that shows up during cutscenes and the like? I was kinda bummed that changing weapons and armor didn't actually change anything.
 
the yulan outfits you fish from the fishing spots, you can only get all the pieces once you have fished on all fishing spots at least once and you need to do the homeless quest to get the ability to sew clothes for the main character they have some stats and change how the character look while standing still nothing else some are nice others meh
 
Those only happened in JP ver when u completed the game....
Appearently the option is not available in english ver.

Actually it was a preorder bonus and is a seperate game were you play as Rance for a short story.
 
So I know there's a script to turn off the random battle meter, but does anyone have a working one because the old one has a bug in it that would crash the game. Or if anything, does anyone have a solution to freezing or slowing down the random battle meter?

Are you using the cheat engine table because you have to turn of gurugura's skills before using the random encounter script or it doesn't work.
 
The game would be much better if it would not have a fukin stupid monster with a 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% encounter rate, 70 hours into the fukin game and 6 hours wasted on running around in Eden since im right before the final boss, and this piece of trash still didnt appear even once. A crappy 20% bonus exp for catching a Lucky Can Can and this crap does not even exist in this game.
