The creature just looked more confused, cocking its head to the side at Mithral's series of questions. Then, however, a sound like a low buzz from somewhere behind it startled it, and it lunged at her, trying to grab her. Its sudden movement caught her by surprise, and it held her naked body up against itself and tried to get a hand over her mouth, at the same time hauling her light frame backwards into the building with it. Strangely, it didn't actually seem to be paying much attention to her once it had her in its grasp, as its head was tilted to the side as if it were listening for something.

"Waitwha-?!?" Mithral started, only to be swiftly silenced by the lizardman as she's suddenly grabbed and dragged off. Mithral heard something wandering by the house as she relaxed into the reptilian creature's hold, followed by a pair of voices speaking in a low, guttural language that she couldn't make heads or tails of. The footsteps paused, and then continued forward a moment later, quickly leaving Mithral's range of hearing. She thought she could detect a hint of confusion on what little of its face she could see with her back to it, but the thing eased its hold on her a little a moment later.
