It gives me courage seeing guys like you and LustFire going for it.

My art is still stuck in the "drawing one character" stage, so I dare not risk going Ulmf public yet.

Well you should do it. Just post what you do.

Since I started posting my very few rough sketches a sort of competition with myself has started. It's motivating because you feel that you want to show to those who support you some progress.

Look at me...I've just begun and I also feel awkward and embarrassed because of the "content" of what I try to draw. Well...believe me...I thought MONTHS to start posting here. Considered and reconsidered.
I'm happy I'm doing it!

Ahahahahah! Actually yes, it looked very weird. I don't know...
The content of that draw is so...don't even know how to describe. Is a bit beyond regular hentai so drawing it is like exposing myself...I don't know if I really want to continue it. We'll see.

However, here a refined draw of the Elf and the Orc...

Now, if you guys see anything crooked, weird, wrong, wtf, lel, bent or whatever else...SAY IT! I'm gonna fix it asap!

Here's my observation so far:

- Orc's Left Thumb: Careful about that. The tip of the thumb can't face directly at the other finger's tip. It's usually closer to adjacent.

- Orc's Right Forearm: Kinda skinny in my opinion.

- Orc's Right Leg: Might need more bend, and you could lengthen the calf a bit.

*The Elf's left forefinger.. seems a little out of place / awkward.

I really only read the first post, but just in case you're still self-conscious, you are very talented. That's one of those things that you can't get from practice. Any other concerns you might have about your drawings can be taken care of by practicing. But IMHO you're damn near the point where people would pay you for commissions, if not already there.

Well, you are right, I actually have to work on expressions and body smoothness. It will take practice.

Meanwhile, since today I had a quite boring day at work and a complete lack of ideas for the project I'm working on, I decided to sketch a bit.

My point is that I started with the Ork and the Elf picture but is ending taking me too much time. Since usually I am an accurate person I wanted to focus too much on details and that's probably why the "harper" expression.

Now, I have not my HDD with me so I couldn't work on it (I will finish it, don't worry) but I started a new one giving myself some guidelines.

- Be fast.
- Don't care about the result.
- Be fast.
- Try to find a simpler method.

And that's the result. Done from zero in ~2 hours, while the Harper and the Elf took me several hours...

I'm still a beginner, there is so much I have to learn...

However, thanks to everybody for the comments and support!

Also I would like you guys to throw me some ideas I can exercise on since my mind is fucking up too much with my irl assignments.

Not really positive or negative criticism, but I kinda like how her hair looks like its own mass of tentacles. And that's why the tentacle mass is attacking her. Love at first sight.

If you can, try to draw a pose or H-artwork at a closer (or focus) shot. That's a fundamental a fair amount of H-artists take upon as they present their works.

A close-up I'm talking about tends to, for example, omit the lower legs. This kind of practice can give you some freedom for camera angles.
